I'm 10+3 too @Bluebell93 scan on 6th September so count down is on too!
I'm only 5ft3 and a short torso with a naturally curvy figure and just feel like anyone who was clued up would defo be able to guess that I'm pregnant now. The top part of my stomach is definately more predominant then it was before which says to me its not all just fat from weeks of eating crap! Saw a thing yesterday that your amniotic fluid tastes like what you eat to the baby which made me feel well guilty as I had just stuffed down a dominos Blush haha.

whyhastherumgone · 27/08/2017 18:18

I'm 10w+2 and also have a clearly rounded stomach! I'm assuming it's all bloat as it doesn't look as bad in the morning, but I was no expecting my jeans to be tight at this point! Thought I'd be safe in the first trimester.

Haven't got our date for our 12 week scan yet so I'm going to give the hospital a call this week as we go away the day after I hit 12 so going to book another private scan if my nhs one is when we come back - want to make sure everything is still okay in there as I'm sure the people we are holidaying with will guess at this rate!

Thinking of you @flatwhite31

Excited0803 · 27/08/2017 18:30

Lovely weather here, maybe a bit too hot though my energy levels haven't improved so I've spent half the day in bed and the other half either cooking for, washing up after or giving input to DIY being done by my partner and his dad.

Still feeling a high from the good 12 week scan, anyone with a good memory can see I've moved to 8th March due date now, woohoo! Wider families now in the loop and joined the facebook group.

Flatwhite31 · 27/08/2017 18:42

Thanks ladies. I'm going to check out of this thread for a while, as it's too hard for me. I'll come back soon when I'm feeling stronger. Good luck with your pregnancies.

OrangeCloud18 · 27/08/2017 20:33

Sending you hugs Flatwhite31

I have my 12 weeks scan on Tuesday morning and starting to be anxious.
Not much to report here, no vomiting for a week but nauseous. Still on medication.

Sallywiththegoodhurrr · 27/08/2017 20:47

The weather has been lovely here. We've been to London today (I'm from the east) and it's totally worn me out!

I've noticed a slight bump too, I'm 9+6 with twins and my uterus is over half way up to my belly button now Shock

SunyBay · 27/08/2017 20:57

@whyhadtherumgone I'm 10+2 too. No belly really. At least, nothing bar the wobbly belly I had before I was pregnant. Wink My lower abdomen is firmer now, though. I can feel it when I press down above my pubic bone, and the weight I carried before was higher, around my waist. Like @scottishem I'm short (just under 5 foot) although my torso is kind of normal height (my shortness is in my legs - I don't look so short if I'm sat down Wink ) and curvy (got good child-bearing hips ... hopefully!) but no-one would notice I'm pregnant. My clothes are getting tighter, but I still have some clothes in a size larger from before I lost a stone, and I can wear them (they're still too big for me). I think it might be a few weeks before I start to show, thanks to my propensity for baggy trousers. Grin

Onceuponamama · 27/08/2017 21:00

My '12 week' scan will be on the 7th of September but I'll be 13+3 by then! I'm a mix or excited and nervous though! Still exhausted and nauseous/heaving but definitely starting to feel better!

@Sally thats so exciting your getting your little bump! I can't wait to start seeing one I'm just pudgey/bloat still!!

whyhastherumgone · 27/08/2017 21:25

@sunybay I'm quite short - 5 foot 2, and curvy, a pear shape really...I'm getting a bit worried about having such a rounded tummy so early, hoping it's mainly bloat but it is quite firm. Had an early scan at 8 weeks so we know there's only one in there - does this mean I am going to be giant?!

hometownunicorn · 27/08/2017 22:08

I'm short too (5 foot 2 like you rum) and getting a bit self conscious about my tummy. Although I'm always self conscious about my tummy so maybe it's all in my head. I do feel quite bloated and it seems to go up and down. DP just thinks I'm looking a bit booby compared to normal which is probably more noticeable to everyone else.

9+5 now and past where I lost the last one. Booking appointment next week which I didn't get to last time so that feels like a milestone, and I'm still waiting on a scan date.

Hope you all enjoy your bank holiday (except poor you scottishem. You do get Jan 2nd instead don't you, which I've always thought is a great idea.)

Bluebell93 · 27/08/2017 22:46

I'm 5ft3 so a similar height! I think just above my pubic bone is a little more rounded than it used to be but I'm not sure if I'm imagining things. Will be glad when it is a proper bump, not sure when that'll happen though!

My boobs on the other hand have definitely grown substantially.

@Onceuponamama we're scan date buddies, although I'll only be 12 weeks then. What time is yours? I'm at 8am Shock a little early for me...

I don't think I'll be drinking the prescribed 1 litre an hour before either, it's way too early for that, plus my bladder was too full at my early reassurance scan at 8 weeks after drinking half that.

Sallywiththegoodhurrr · 28/08/2017 08:21

5ft3 also - I've found my people Grin

Minervamouse77 · 28/08/2017 08:47

Morning all!
I had my dating scan on Friday and all is good so it feels so much more real now.
It was so cool to see my little bean moving around, it had an arm up waving at us and was clearly very comfortable with its little legs crossed. I had the combined test so now just need to hope I don't get a call next week.

They have moved my due date so I'm actually due on 28th Feb now, I want to stay part of the march club though because if bean is anything like me it will be too cosy -lazy- to arrive on time.
Feeling much more alert now so think I'm over the worst of the tiredness thankfully. Still getting too bloated for my liking though.
Hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday weekend.

Doublegloucester · 28/08/2017 08:57

Bank hols all good here, though wish payday had been before this weekend!

Scan all good on Friday so will have a busy week letting everyone know who doesn't already!

lokelani · 28/08/2017 09:23

@Excited0803 I'm due 8th march too!

We have started to go see people this weekend and tell them. For some reason though I just can't seem to bring myself to tell my best friend. It's the weirdest thing. She doesn't live nearby so she hasn't picked up on how poorly I've been. Something about telling her makes it so real.

What is everyone doing today? Looks like we're going to get some sun here in the south, so off to see MIL and then will attempt a little country walk.

lokelani · 28/08/2017 09:24

Oh and lovely news on all the positive scans. X

mamasiz · 28/08/2017 10:20

5ft1 over here! Seem to be already filling out my maternity dungarees Blush and I've got from barely a C to a D cup. 12 week scan tomorrow afternoon - had one at EPAU at 8.5 due to bleeding scare and all looked well so fingers crossed we get to see a happy little prawn tomorrow. Going on holiday on Thursday so will be nice to know things are going as planned before we go.

OrangeCloud18 · 28/08/2017 10:45

mamasiz I have my scan tomorrow as well but in the morning :)

I am 5ft2 and usually a size 8 but I am on size 12 now, otherwise it hurts because it squeezes my belly.

ZylaB · 28/08/2017 10:55

It sounds still 9 days until my dating scan, I'm so impatient lol! (Even after having 4 scans already hehe). It's lovely and warm here so we're going to set up the paddling pool for my daughter and her friend this afternoon. We've also got a playhouse and a sandpit and a huge parasol so they can play in the garden in the sun suits all afternoon, should be lovely!

mamasiz · 28/08/2017 13:07

Will be thinking of you tomorrow @OrangeCloud18 Smile

Looking forward to week 15 so I can join my local pregnancy yoga class - feeling very inactive but have to remind myself that it's ok to lie down and take it easy.

FuzzyOwl · 28/08/2017 13:09

I still don't even have a date for my scan! I saw my midwife a fortnight ago, so hopefully I will get a letter this week.

Hope everyone is enjoying their sunny bank holiday weekend.

Fefifoefum · 28/08/2017 16:31

Just caught up with the thread after a weekend at work 😑.
Some lovely and some very sad news Flowers. Thoughts with FLatwhite xx

I'm petrified about my scan on Thursday, I don't think I've ever been more nervous!

And I feel like the odd giant out, I'm 6ft! And slightly plump at a size 14, feel like I won't be showing for an eternity! Also worried about clothes as everything is always too short anyway!

scottishem · 28/08/2017 16:48

Eurgh just come home to a letter saying I'm rhesus negative so extra jabs for me! Mind you been poked so many times with needles now I barely feel it! Atleast all other bloods came back ok.
Will be thinking of you tomorrow @OrangeCloud18 enjoy seeing your little one Smile
So so jealous of all the sun you are all getting in England! It has honestly not stopped raining for 3+weeks here and I mean chucking it down with lots of wind

Sallywiththegoodhurrr · 28/08/2017 16:55

Is there anyone who hasn't had any scans at all yet?

Jacqueje · 28/08/2017 17:00

Hi all, hope everyone's been enjoying the sunny BH! Been busy/exhausted for a while so not checked in for ages, so catching up with the exciting and also sad news that's been going on.

@sallywiththegoodhurr I've still not had my scan yet, not going to be till 2nd week of September which feels like ages away, but have to say that twins is not on my wish list - only just got room for the one!
