Thinking of you Flatwhite31

Wingingitwithmonkeys · 25/08/2017 13:05

Also thinking of you here. Sending a hug xx

Flatwhite31 · 25/08/2017 13:29

Not even in a bed yet Sad. The feeling sick from hunger due to a body that still thinks it is pregnant isn't fun.

Scoobygang7 · 25/08/2017 14:07

@Flatwhite31 aww I hope a bed becomes available soon, that's awful that they don't have one yet for youFlowers

FuzzyOwl · 25/08/2017 16:18

Hope it all went ahead smoothly Flatwhite. Flowers

Flatwhite31 · 25/08/2017 16:25

Still have had it. Have had tablets put in to soften my cervix. Am so hungry, haven't eaten in over 9 hours.

Flatwhite31 · 25/08/2017 16:25

That should at still haven't!

Flatwhite31 · 25/08/2017 16:25

That should say, not that should at! Arrrgh! Thanks so much, everyone, for asking after me.

Moose23IsHungry · 25/08/2017 16:40

@flatwhite31 it's so hard isn't it? Treat yourself to a lovely meal tonight. If you've had the tablets it won't be too much longer. X

Doublegloucester · 25/08/2017 17:51

flatwhite hope you have a bed by now. That's an awfully long time to go without food Sad

mamasiz · 25/08/2017 18:23

Sending you love and healing @Flatwhite31 - I hope you are being well looked after.

whyhastherumgone · 25/08/2017 18:26

@Flatwhite31 that's such a long day for you :( and being so hungry for so long as well...so sorry. Hope you are being looked after okay and you can go home soon (or are you having to stay there for the duration?). xxx

Flatwhite31 · 25/08/2017 19:18

All done lovely ladies. Am cramping and bleeding, but neither are excessive. Staff have been wonderful, as I was really tearful in the anaesthetic room. Now time to grieve for our little bean. Thank you SO much for your support. You'll all make wonderful mummies.

whyhastherumgone · 25/08/2017 19:35

@flatwhite31 relieved to hear from you and that everything went as well as it could. Did they give you painkillers for the cramping? Solpadeine was a lifesaver for me when I had a MC - although you'll probably have to check with chemist as obviously I didn't have anaesthetic.
I'm so glad the staff were lovely and supportive too. Hope you have a restful weekend with your DP - make sure you have all the lovely food and snacks you want and take as much time lounging around/grieving as you need xx It will get better xx

Moose23IsHungry · 25/08/2017 20:48

@Flatwhite31 so glad to hear from you. Now just rest up and take care of yourself x

Excited1203 · 25/08/2017 21:29

Take good care of yourself @FlatWhite31.

MrsW0812 · 26/08/2017 09:07

Been out the loops for a while as have been knocked with tiredness.

I'm so sorry to hear what you have been going through @Flatwhite31 - thinking of you and DH and hope you recover all ok. I know words can't help you but want you to know I'm thinking of you.

Xx

WiIdfire · 26/08/2017 19:54

How are you doing today Flatwhite? Hope recovery is going as well as it can. Hugs

Flatwhite31 · 26/08/2017 20:50

I'm not great today. Very tearful and down. It's early days though. Physically I'm ok, just very very tired.

Moose23IsHungry · 27/08/2017 03:29

@Flatwhite31 You poor thing. It will take time to get over but you're allowed to feel upset. Rest up. X

NorthernBelly · 27/08/2017 08:23

@Flatwhite31, so sorry to hear your news. It's such a completely awful and sad thing to happen. I have had 4 early miscarriages, but none later than 7 weeks. I can only imagine how devastated you are. Take lots of time to get better, just because you are feeling ok physically doesn't mean you don't need more time to heal emotionally Flowers.

NorthernBelly · 27/08/2017 08:27

Also @Flatwhite31, your body has had a big drop in hormones which will make you to feel like total crap for a while too. When your hormones have settled back, it might start feeling a little bit easier.

Countdowntofour · 27/08/2017 16:50

Hope you're ok flatwhite. You're in all our thoughts ❤

How's everyone doing? Have you all got good weather? We've had a nice warm day today so got the paddling pool out, my girls were in that for most of the afternoon 😊 there's a hole in the outer air bit somewhere that I can't find though!! Feeling like I need a nap- my sleep isn't too bad but it's disrupted by random dreams and being too hot. Got my mum and stepdad coming down for a couple of days on tues so they can take over kid duty 😁

scottishem · 27/08/2017 17:43

No nice weather for us @Countdowntofour Sad typical Scotland!! And no bank holiday weekend for us BOO!!

To be honest I've been feeling pretty normal this past week. A couple of episodes of sickness which have unfortunately have been hitting me during the night. Energy levels have defo improved for me although defo not as they were pre pregnancy. Big thing for me is bloating!! Start off the morning with a reasonably flat belly (barr a little chub Wink) but after I've had lunch I get a bloated hard belly and by the end of the night I look like a have a proper bump.
Hope the rest of you have had a lovely relaxing weekend Smile

Bluebell93 · 27/08/2017 18:02

Weather's been brilliant here (I'm in the south west). Hoping it holds out for a family BBQ tomorrow.

I've been feeling alright, a bit tired but that's all. Trying not to worry too much about it though. Count down to 12 week scan, now 11 days away! Does anyone have scans this week?

@scottishem I definitely have a belly but I think it's all fat not baby. I've put on at least 2lbs from my pre baby weight and I'm only 10w+3! I'm very short in the torso so am expecting to be massive...
