You're welcome @Flatwhite31 and I am just sad that you are in the situation to need it. When I had my first miscarriage I spent a lot of time on it and then the subsequent pregnancy after miscarriage threads, as women on there have all had similar experiences. I really hope things work out well for you. Xx

DancingUnicorn · 23/08/2017 13:26

Oh no, no. Flatwhite just seen your update. I'm so gutted for you. It's so cruel. I found the miscarriage association website really helpful after my mmc earlier this year. I'm so sorry. Agree with previous posters that the ttc after mc thread is amazing and supportive. ❤️

Banania · 23/08/2017 14:08

I'm so sorry flatwhite. Absolutely gutting.

OrangeCloud18 · 23/08/2017 15:18

mrskitty15 · 23/08/2017 16:02

@flatwhite I am so sorry to hear your news, absolutely devastating. Rest up and take care, sending you a virtual hug X

Flatwhite31 · 23/08/2017 17:13

Thank you so so much for your kind words ladies. The doctor confirmed baby died at 9 weeks. I'm booked in on Friday to have surgical management of miscarriage. I wish you all the best in your pregnancies, and will occasionally check in here from time to time to see how you are all getting on. Thanks again, you truly are a lovely bunch. Xxx

FuzzyOwl · 23/08/2017 17:16

I hope it all goes as well as it can on Friday Flatwhite. Flowers

Sallywiththegoodhurrr · 23/08/2017 17:36

Please take care of yourself @Flatwhite31, I hope Friday goes as well as it can, we'll all be thinking of you Flowers

Scoobygang7 · 23/08/2017 18:01

Thinking of you @Flatwhite31 hope Friday goes as well as to be expected. Do something for yourself in the meantime and afterwards.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 23/08/2017 20:32

Oh flatwhite i am so so sorry, that is heartbreaking. Made me actually have a little cry. Life is so cruel sometimes. Take care doll xxx

SunyBay · 23/08/2017 20:33

Oh, @Flatwhite31 I am so sorry. What horrendous news. As everyone says, please take care of yourself. My thoughts are with you and your husband.

whereareyousleep · 23/08/2017 20:41

Excited1203 · 23/08/2017 21:17

@KerryLeanne84 - just want to wish you well for your scan tomorrow. Will be thinking of you with fingers crossed.

Tigger83 · 23/08/2017 21:46

@Flatwhite31 I am so sorry for your loss. I was in your shoes back in march and it's such a shock and truly heartbreaking. I also went for erpc which was completely the best choice for me. If you've got any questions that you want to ask then please pm me and I'll do all I can to help x

Flatwhite31 · 24/08/2017 07:00

Thank you everyone. Thanks @Tigger83. What was the recovery like? When did you start trying again?

DancingUnicorn · 24/08/2017 07:21

Flat after my erpc, I'd say I felt physically fine by the end of the next day. Didn't experience any heavy bleeding, but had light bleeding for about a week. The doctors told me to wait until I'd had one period before trying again, which I did, but I believe that's purely for dating purposes so a lot of people don't wait and it's not dangerous to you or baby. It took about 31 days for my period to come (usually 26). And periods were less regular afterwards. My physical recovery was easier than my mental one. If you're offered counselling or there are local charities that offer it, I would recommend seriously considering it. It's so, so shit. And such a shock when it comes out of the blue with no warning. If you ever want to talk, feel free to message me. Will be thinking of you tomorrow. ❤️💔

Tigger83 · 24/08/2017 07:25

@flatwhite31. Recovery was fine physically I barely bled tbh. Emotionally it was hard, I took a week off work which really felt like the right thing for me and allowed me time to grieve. We started trying as soon as we got a negative test. I lost my first baby in the march, first cycle trying was April, fell again in June which ended as a chemical (devastating) then fell again in July and here I am. Ask whatever you need to.

Flatwhite31 · 24/08/2017 09:23

Thank you @DancingUnicorn and @Tigger83, your replies are so helpful. I feel utterly crap and depressed today, not helped by the fact that I was up at 4am vomiting violently and then crying about it. Dreading properly losing our bean tomorrow.

Excited1203 · 24/08/2017 13:09

So sorry you're going through this @FlatWhite31, it's good that you cried in the night, I'm sure there will be more tears still to come for your little bean. Will be thinking of you tomorrow.

ChaoticKate · 24/08/2017 17:55

Harmony results are in. All fine and we're having a girl! Would have been thrilled either way obviously but very very happy.

Sallywiththegoodhurrr · 24/08/2017 18:05

That's brilliant @ChaoticKate, congratulations on your little girl Smile

ZylaB · 24/08/2017 18:22

Ahh brilliant, glad everything is ok!

Excited1203 · 24/08/2017 18:52

Congrats @ChaoticKate! I'm having major scanxiety about tomorrow, seeing some good news helps.

Bluebell93 · 24/08/2017 19:02

Hope you're doing ok @Flatwhite31 so sorry to hear about your loss.

I've been worrying that my 12 week scan date is too late and just before my holiday, so called the hospital and now have an 8am appointment on 7 Sep which is only two weeks away! It'll still drag, but much happier about that one.
