Love is all what matters and your children are/will be so loved. My scan is on the 30th too! I picked 12pm 🤗 scan buddies. I'll be 11+5 then...what time is yours? xx

I'm also wondering about sterilisation during my section. 3 weeks until my dating scan when I'll be 12+6, really ready for this tiredness to ease off!

@Sallywiththegoodhurrr I don't know yet as mine is elective the midwife said to ask the consultant as my pregnancy is consultant led. Also side note and don't know if it makes a difference I am in England but am birthing in Scotland.

@WiIdfire thank you! I'm really worried it'll come back! We go to Italy a week on Sun, and it'd be awful if it came up again there as the pain was horrendous. It isn't discharging anymore, but the swollen lymph node is still there, and the abscess now just feels like a hard lump. Not sure whether to ring my GP or midwife about my worries about it coming back, namely because having infections can't be good for baby either!

Morning everyone, hand hold needed please - got mt private scan booked for this morning so please send any positive vibes this way! Currently feeling okay but swing between feeling positive and being convinced something is wrong every other minute....

I'm feeling terrible today, a bit envious of those who are starting to have their symptoms go. My partner weirdly just got a UTI, so I'm worried that I'm going to get another, or that that is what's making me feel ill; so exhausted and sicky. Have a doctor's appt tomorrow that was meant to be to get an aspirin prescription but I'll ask then. I've taken advantage of him now knowing about the pregnancy to tell my boss I'm going to probably take all of next week off. It's wasteful when I should be working to save money for when the baby's here (no sick pay, I'm a contractor), but I need the baby to actually be able to get here. Sigh. Planning for TV and hopefully walks or cycles in the park when I feel up to it. Might be here a bit.

Hello ladies, Our scan went well, the dates are slightly different from what we had worked out from my LMP date so it is actually measuring at 8+1 not 9+2 like we thought, but I think that is fairly standard (fingers crossed). The heartbeat was strong and normal. All looking good so far 😊

Great news @Mrskitty15 ours went well too although yours looks more baby like, ours was more a blob! He dated us slightly earlier too i thought i was 8 + 5 but hes put me closer to 8. measuring 17.5mm with a flickering heart beat - he didn't give us heart rate but said everything was looking good (it didn't look that fast to me while i was watching but the blob kept moving around and hiding so it was hard to see).

Now just need to hope this one sticks and continues to grow :) I think i will be reassured for all of a day and then probably book another scan for ten weeks

Great news on scans - lovely to read.

Excited I'm so sorry you're feeling crap at the moment, I hope your symptoms start to ease soon. A week off sounds like a really good plan (although I sympathise on the lost money - but hopefully you will be feeling much better soon, and for most of your pregnancy, and what is a week in the grand scheme of all that? Yours - and your baby's - wellbeing is most important. )

@mrskitty15 I had an early scan with my last pregnancy and they put me back a week, I then had my 12 week scan and they brought me forward a week again!

Yay!! So pleased your scans went well, @whyhastherumgone @mrskitty15 and @WiIdfire ! 😊 I also had mine this morning. They said 12+4 which moves me one day later than last scan to 25th Feb.. I'll update the Google doc when I'm on a computer, thanks for that @DancingUnicorn must've taken ages!

It wiggled and waved at us then turned it's back when it'd had enough prodding and poking and the sonographer said everything looked good, nuchal thing was fine etc 💕💕 I'm so relieved I've seen a heartbeat cos I've barely had any symptoms recently but now it really feels real 🙊 not twins though this time! 😜

Also had blood test for them to do the downs check and got a bounty pack with a tiny little super cute sudocrem haha

Has everybody been resisting buying stuff so far? I've accidentally thrown 'a few' neutral things into baskets when we've been shopping this last week hehe 😅
