I'm glad you're feeling better today mrsD but I think your truck has turned around and come for me! I can't face doing anything today I'm so tired! sunshine, your situation is very like mine, our last pregnancy was a surprise but very much wanted even if the timing wasn't right. So after the mmc we immediately TTC. Will hopefully be just less than 3 years between them if everything works out. baby, I hope you everything goes well for you this pregnancy, you defo deserve it with what you've been through. And I hope your little one is doing well xx

MrsDneedsaB · 28/07/2017 15:10

Oh no Sam! I didn't mean to send the truck your way!!

Isn't it funny how you can have no inclination for a child (or 2nd) until the opportunity surprises you and then unfortunately doesn't work out

I'm hoping my situation is somewhat like that - trying but not really and get preggo super quick as a surprise GrinFlowers

How's everyone feeling today?

Babydreaming · 28/07/2017 16:06

Thank you Sam! He's doing okay but he has a feeding tube in his nose at the moment as he's tiny and refuses to feed! Never thought I would have a baby that doesn't like milk 😂

I'm virtually symptom free apart from feeling bloated and with some background nausea. I didn't really have many symptoms in my 1st pregnancy either!

My husband joked I was pregnant the day before I found out as he knew my period was a few days late. We both thought it impossible though as we were opposite of trying! I laughed at him and was told him he was being ridiculous and I would definitely feel the symptoms if I was pregnant...apparently not!

FuzzyOwl · 28/07/2017 16:43

I've just done a Clearblue test which puts me at five weeks today. I thought I was a couple of days further ahead but it not it puts my due date at 30 March. Will read back now and see what I have missed. Hope everyone is doing well.

Jamieson86 · 28/07/2017 20:10

Hello ladies! You're welcome to join any time! It is not a secret group yet as so small at the moment but I found a way to remove your groups on Facebook so unless someone searches the exact group name- they can't see you're a member which is fab! I've updated the group name to Babies Due March/April/May 2018 UK, there are 5 lovely ladies at the moment but we are keen to have more x

Jamieson86 · 28/07/2017 20:15

Sorry for the delayed response, I've just realised that my reply may be confusing later on in the thread! Wishing you all sticky baby dust! Mrs D- I also had a mmc at 6 weeks and body didn't realise until 10 weeks...constant nerves until I pass that date this time around! Xx

Merowdiff · 28/07/2017 22:01

Hi all! Had a faint positive today so will re-test tomorrow. With all the negatives I've had I'm now convinced it was faulty, although from what I've read that's rarely the case! Popped the dates into the calculator which is giving April 4th as possible due date - so exciting! Will be propper gutted if it's a false alarm. Congratulations to all of you ladies! X

Merowdiff · 28/07/2017 22:15

You guys are way more knowledgeable than me! Took a pic earlier of test. What do you think? As I said, I'm feeling like this is all a mistake and wondering when it's all going to be pulled from under me... I don't know any of the lingo you are using, all I can say is that I was due on today but no bleed yet! I'm sorry - I will pick it up as we go along! Confused

merowdiff looks positive to me - congratulations! I didn't believe my first test either so did some move over the following few days to make sure. Fingers crossed for you!

SunshineSaz thanks for your kind words earlier. No spotting today so I'm feeling very relieved! Can't wait to get past the 12w mark. Who knew the waiting would be such hard work!?

NoseringGirl · 28/07/2017 23:46

@Merowdiff that's very definitely a positive! Congratulations!

tinajayne1993 · 29/07/2017 05:04

Hiya everyone I took a test yesterday and I got a positive result it's a bit of a shock as my little boy will only be turning 8 month on the 18th of August 🙈 I am in the group from mumsnet for him and they are all so wonderful so I came searching for this baby's group. Congratulations to you all.

Sunshinesaz86 · 29/07/2017 07:03

Congrats on bfp jamie I like noseribg will hold out in joining any other groups at this stage as I'd rather make sure all is ok with bean first. Thank you though.

Congrats insomniac it'll be #2 for me with nearly 3 yr age gap too! And oh yes to the bloat it is baaaad!!

baby sorry to hear about DC1 having health problems and again hospitals are our 2nd home DS1 was diagnosed with leukaemia last year and the treatment is 3.5 years so lots more trips, we decided we didn't really want a huge gap and as he's doing well at the moment thought we it would be great for him to have a sibling. Again not hereditary just bad luck 😢. We stay very positive though and just crack on with things. Here's hoping to healthy babies for us both and everyone else of course.

mrsd sorry about you mc it sucks that is happens and I wish it didn't. I do hope this one turns out to be the stickiest for you. Night 1 successfully out the way. However we have a dance class on today and 2nd night to get through yet.

sam im keeping everything crossed for us all. Ahh it'll be same age gap that's cool. Here's hoping for lots of healthy babies.

baby I didn't really gave symptoms bar slight nausea and dizziness. I laughed when I read that initially as thought you DH knew when your period was meant to be (like off his own back) then realised he just knew you were late. 😁 Sorry about dc having an ng feed that are no fun to deal with but glad dc gets what they need from it.

Hey fuzzy 👋🏻

jamie it's so easy to get nervous isn't it? I'm trying my best to stay relaxed as I've no reason to believe this pg won't work out.

merow definitely looks positive to be congrats!

ruth so glad your spotting has stopped. The 12 weeks is the longest time!

Congrats tina a small age group can be lovely (or so im told) 😁 by lots of ppl who have them you'll be busy but it'll be nice.

Merowdiff · 29/07/2017 08:39

Ruthisnice nosering sunshine thank you! Couldn't wait so took another test at silly o'clock this morning and the line has deepened. Today's mission is to poas that uses words rather than a line. THEN maybe I'll actually sleep tonight! Deffo more chance of me believing it (Or not...) Abdomen feeling really antsie and grumbly. Feeling itchy on the skin? I definitely feel different! Hope everyone is feeling fresh and fab this morning Smile

YouCanNeverHaveTooManyCats · 29/07/2017 08:45

Thanks for the FB offer Jamieson but I think I will hold off until after my 12 week scan and see if anyone does a group just for April. I've joined the separate March group in the meantime, as I prefer the smaller ones (they still usually have 70+ women in) as they are easier for me to remember who is who and seem to have fewer fall outs.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Parney · 29/07/2017 09:10

Sorry to hear how tough everything has been for some of you. @baby it definitely won't be easy but I'm coming round to the age gap I think. Hope your DS is doing well. Funny we both have a 7 month old and my DH joking about me being pregnant was what made me test!

Hope everyone got on ok at hens and weddings, I survived mine and will be staying off the radar for a while now.

@scottish your age gap is teeny too! Fun times.

Congrats everyone! I had no real symptoms last time at all except for major cramping in the early days, this time I don't even have that. I'm wondering if everything is already stretched in there?! Strong BFPs and 3+ on digital during the week so hoping that's a good sign.

Merowdiff · 29/07/2017 10:15

Yup Smile Ok ladies - let's do this!! Argh!!!

Parney · 29/07/2017 10:18

@Tina your little boy is a few days younger than mine! Congrats to you and @Merow

MrsDneedsaB · 29/07/2017 10:22

Congrats @Merowdiff FlowersFlowers

LinzLinz · 29/07/2017 11:46

Happy Saturday everyone Cake
Congrats @merow, @tina and @linz
Hope you all have a great day

LivLemler · 29/07/2017 15:52

Hi everyone. Tentatively stepping in - got a BFP this morning, but AF not due til Thurs so very early yet. Due 12 April if it sticks.

It will (hopefully) be our first, and it was our first month trying so a bit of a shock to be pregnant so soon - and a relief too of course.

Already have nausea in the morning and million spots on my normally clear face. The joys!

LinzLinz · 29/07/2017 16:03

Congrats @LivLemler ! I got my BFP this morning and it'll be my first too, how do you feel?! My head is in a spin lol! It's so weird to think what is going on inside and I feel completely normal! I've worked out I'd be due on the 11th!

LivLemler · 29/07/2017 16:07

Head in a spin sounds about right Linz! Congratulations! I'd had an inkling as my boobs were sore and I'd had funny niggles and nausea, but I still couldn't believe it when the line came up.

Downloaded an app and apparently the baby is the size of a poppy seed. That blew my mind a bit - I know it's tiny, but tbh it's so early I would've thought it was still microscopic.

LinzLinz · 29/07/2017 16:11

I read that too @LivLemler can't believe you could actually see it with the naked eye already!! We started trying in May and I'm also shocked even though it was completely planned! I'm guessing it's normal to go through the emotions of excitement and nerves!

Babydreaming · 29/07/2017 18:12

Sunshine thank you and I'm raeally sorry to hear about your son, that must be so difficult. I think you're right and you just have to stay positive for their sake as well as ours!

I'm going to a wedding tomorrow...eeek! I'm going to use the excuse that I'm not drinking as have a baby to get back to look after later, not sure anyone will believe that!

Parney is your 7 month old sleeping through?! Mine often doesn't and often wakes at 5.30am...slightly worried about coping with pregnancy tiredness combined with having a baby tiredness!!
