Hi all. Just changed the name from sarmi to sarmster.

@NoseringGirl, afternoon POAS sessions are never great. Try again Saturday morning and see if the line is stronger? Fingers crossed all goes well.

Congrats to the others who've just joined!

Had a bit of a cold/phlegm last night and gutted I couldn't take any lemsip. How do you handles colds or flus when pregnant?!

Mimilicious013 · 27/07/2017 13:58

Thanks @Ru happy Thursday to you too.l have been busking in the sun the whole day. too lazy to do anything Grin.

Sorry you are not feeling well @sarm, lemon tea would help a bit. I take paracetamol but you need to find out from your Dr or pharmacist if it's okay. Speedy recovery Flowers

Sam91TRS15 · 27/07/2017 14:19

Congratulations to all the new girls! I'm so sorry so many of you are here so tentatively, I hope this will be a happy and healthy thread for everyone! Nosering, can you ask for a midwife appointment early for blood tests and possibly an early scan if your hcg rise? My hcg took a long time to rise, a week from the lightest BFP to getting a digi positive, so everything might be OK!
I now seem to be getting vivid dreams as a symptom, 3 consecutive days of them! Last night we were having a tampon throwing contest and mine was super fast haha! DP thinks thats my subconscious telling me I won't be needing any for a while! Oh also the spots, I get a new one everyday!

MrsDneedsaB · 27/07/2017 15:27

I can happily wait before the vivid dreams start Sam but at the same time yours sounds really funny Grin

Does anyone else feel like they've been hit by a truck?! Absolutely cream crackered with stiff neck and borderline migraines! Left work early today just to try and sleep it off, paracetamol does bugger all lol

RU486 · 27/07/2017 16:00

Hit by a truck is def where im at, beyond tired... off for a nap as we speak zzzzzz

NoseringGirl · 27/07/2017 18:28

@Sarmster Plenty of rest and warm (non alcoholic) ginger wine always helps me! Hope you feel better soon. I've spent so many years pregnant or breastfeeding I've forgotten what real medication is like!

@Sam91TRS15 I'll call the GP next week if I'm still getting positives. There's not really much they can do at this stage except wait which is hard! I remember having lots of vivid dreams in my last pregnancies. They were always about never being able to find a clean loo!

@MrsDneedsaB I'm exhausted too! Can't wait for the weekend so DH is home and I can take naps.

SeatOfMyPants · 27/07/2017 19:16

mimi - I was just being nosey on the April board, and was really delighted to see you here. We were on a few of the same conception buses (I've name changed) and you kept me sane! Really pleased for your bfp.

Mimilicious013 · 27/07/2017 20:07

Hello seat, thanks hey! What was your old user name Wink ?it's been a tough road for me and had stopped trying 2months ago, then bammm!!!hope you are okay

Thelostsock · 27/07/2017 20:31

Congratulations to the new joiners Grin

I think I'm going to be a nightmare pregnant lady. Yesterday I had no symptoms, was full of energy and generally felt great - convinced something was wrong with the bean. Today I feel utterly drained and lots of cramping, instead of being happy I have symptoms I'm worried something is wrong!

Please tell me it's not just me?!

Mimilicious013 · 27/07/2017 20:40

I'm with you thelost and nightmare pregnant lady just sums it up. You made me lol though! !lol honestly thought I was going insane. Had gone to bed around 6 and woke up an hour later suffocating and feeling like I am so bloated and ready to pop Confused.

Ruthisnice · 27/07/2017 20:57

thelostsock I've been feeling much more 'normal' over the past week too (boobs still feel like rocks though). Had a bit of mild cramping but nothing major at all. I've had the tiniest bit of spotting today and it's really freaked me out. Trying to stay calm and tell myself baby is fine but it's difficult! My first mw appointment isn't until 9w which feels forever away. I'm definitely a nightmare pregnant lady - poor dh!

marzipancustard · 27/07/2017 22:06

Can I join? Got my BFP this will be my second and due 1st of April approx! My first is currently 6 months so will have a small gap Grin

Parney · 27/07/2017 22:23

@Marzi congratulations! My first is 7 months so we're both in for some good fun!

marzipancustard · 27/07/2017 22:29

Hi Parney how are you feeling? After a few bad nights due to my little girl having a cold I'm beginning to think a small gap wasn't the bright idea I thought it was Blush Grin glad to have someone to battle through weaning and teething at the same time as morning sickness Brew we can do this!!

itsascottishbaby · 27/07/2017 23:08

Hello everyone and congratulations! I got my BFP this morning, AF due tomorrow. No symptoms at all but I had a weird feeling which made me test. Have a DS who's almost 1 - we had agreed to start TTC after his birthday but we got carried away! I had a CP before I got pregnant with DS so I'm being quite cautious. Hope everyone is feeling well Smile

itsascottishbaby · 27/07/2017 23:11

@marzipancustard and @Parney you're even braver than me - I have been wondering whether a 20 month age gap is too small and panicking a bit!!

Babydreaming · 28/07/2017 09:04

Hello! May I join too?! I'm similar to Marzi and Parney as have a 7 month old little boy as well! This pregnancy has come as a huge shock. We were using protection on the days I thought I was fertile and I think the last time we did the deed was 6 days before ovulation so I thought there was no chance of being pregnant! After 5 days of overdue period though and nausea building up similar to 1st time I tested! This is the 1st cycle I've had since having my 1st baby so I'm totally overwhelmed by it all. I'm not sure whether to feel happy or sad as I really wanted to wait a good 2 years before trying again. I spent most of yesterday in tears due to the shock. I don't feel mentally ready for this again! Plus pregnancy with a young baby is going to be tough. I'm hoping the excitement will kick in soon and hearing about others excitement helps me to appreciate what good news it it!

Sunshinesaz86 · 28/07/2017 09:11

Welcome mrsD sorry to hear about you MMC!
Welcome stellaaa congrats on your BFP!
RU did you get booked in with MW?

nosering fingers crossed you get a stronger line.

thelo im a nightmare as in I'm really grouchy at the minute and usually I'm pretty chilled out. 😂 But no its natural to feel as you do.

Urgh mimi the bloat is so real.
I hope your spotting settles ruth

Wow marzi and parney you are both braver than I am! 😂 But a small age gap can be great. There will be nearly 3 yrs between DS and this baby for us.

Congrats itsascotish

I'm off on the hen weekend later wish me luck, I've got my non alcoholic wine in normal wine bottles 😂 Hope I don't get busted! X

Sunshinesaz86 · 28/07/2017 09:17

Sorry baby cross post. Welcome. We had a surprise pregnancy back in Dec and I felt very similar as DS has been very poorly but back in Dec he had been having quite a lot of treatment myself and DP only spent 2 nights together in months as we'd been in and out of hospital. It took us a while to get our heads round, but it didn't work out and we found out at 12 week scan in Feb.
However it made us realise we did want a second baby.

I'm sure it's a big shock for you, but hopefully things will settle down soon and sometimes these things are just meant to be. X

RU486 · 28/07/2017 09:39

Morning all! Still waiting to call my gp re midwife booking, we are away at the mo and my phone signal is appalling Hmm will have to wait til monday now I think

Jamieson86 · 28/07/2017 09:39

Hi ladies!! I have just had my BFP- it will be our first and rainbow baby!! I have just set up a Facebook account for ladies due in April 2018. If you fancy joining let me know or click the link (there are only 5 of us so far). Wishing you healthy and happy pregnancies! m.facebook.com/groups/250532248786269?tsid=0.23753029139156046&source=result

InsomniacDormouse · 28/07/2017 10:29

Hi! Could I join too? Just got a BFP this morning, think my due date will be around 2 April. If all goes well this will be DC2 for us with an age gap of just over 3 years.

Getting pretty bloated already and lots of fluttering which I guess is everything stretching out or maybe just wind Blush

Congratulations and good luck to everyone!

NoseringGirl · 28/07/2017 11:18

Is it a secret group? I'll be waiting until I know if this little bean is sticking but wouldn't want to join anything that'll show to my Facebook friends until much later in pregnancy anyway.

Babydreaming · 28/07/2017 11:28

Sunshine thanks for your support! Sorry to hear about what happened, that still must have been tough finding out at 12w scan regardless of circumstances!

My 1st baby has also been unwell. My first pregnancy showed he had a few issues and I had to have an amniocentesis so it was really stressful. He was then born with a problem with his kidneys and one had to be removed. His life has involved so many hospital trips and I just couldn't go through all the stress again. It's not hereditary, just bad luck! I'm really hoping that this time we might have a normal pregnancy and healthy baby!!

MrsDneedsaB · 28/07/2017 12:12

Good afternoon ladies and welcome all the newbies!

I have a feeling we are going to be getting a lot of new guys and this is the week when people will be noticing their missed af!!

Feeling less like I got hit by a truck today - yay!

Enjoy your hen weekend Sunshine hopefully no one will notice your lack of alcohol consumption, just act really giddy and I'm sure they'll be none the wiser!
And thanks about be MMC, I found out at 10 weeks that baby stopped growing at 6+2. Took another week for the bleeding to start but thankfully it happened all naturally in one night, horrific trip to a&e included, no need for med intervention so I was lucky in a way.

Just hoping this little one settles in all good, I'm taking Inositol and baby aspirin in the hopes it helps me after recurrent mcs
