Has anyone else suffered with really bad stitches? Today when I was walking home I got a stitch that took my breath away and made me gasp out loud I couldn’t walk for about 4 mins even once I could walk again I was still in discomfort for about 10 mins.

ScotsLamb · 23/10/2017 19:54

I've not been getting stitches but I've been getting pulled muscles in my tummy. Very sore and very annoying.
I'm only 31 weeks so I may have stitches to look forward to!

Mrsbluebell17 · 23/10/2017 19:54

Might sound daft @fishfingerSarnies but could it be Braxton hicks not stitch?

fishfingerSarnies · 23/10/2017 20:27

No it wasn’t a braxton Hicks I’m pretty sure, It was just like the most painful stitch ever all up the right of my bump. Probably means I need to just slow down a bit. I was probably marching around too quickly.

ScotsLamb · 02/11/2017 17:06

Two December babies on the Facebook group now.

How is everyone over here? I had my first ante natal class today (very old fashioned but informative). Bought the car seat yesterday (despite ordering the wrong one, cancelling my order then reordering the right one).
Bag is almost almost packed but I keep forgetting about it.
32+4 today.

MiniMacComing · 05/11/2017 21:33

Hiya... could someone please add me to the Facebook group - no idea how to pm on this app so might need some pointers Confused

Mrsbluebell17 · 05/11/2017 21:56

Two babies already @ScotsLamb? That’s exciting. All ok for everyone? Who has had their babies and how early were they?

Sorry @MiniMacComing I can’t help as don’t use the Facebook group yet.

Brens13 · 06/11/2017 07:43

@MiniMacComing I've sent you a PM to help you join the Fbk group :)

ScotsLamb · 06/11/2017 20:42

One at 35 weeks weighing 4lbs 14oz and another at 29 weeks weighing 2lbs 14oz. Seem all are well so far.

The rest of us are a varying degree of pain, heartburn, sickness, impatience and scared!

Mrsbluebell17 · 14/11/2017 20:46

Hey 👋🏼
How is everyone doing?

FeedMyFaceWithPeanutButterCups · 14/11/2017 20:59

@Mrsbluebell17 you must be the only one not on the fb group... are you coming to join us?!
It's very busy! We're potentially on baby #4 this evening!

Mrsbluebell17 · 14/11/2017 21:10

🤣 I suppose I’d better do soon haha.

ScotsLamb · 15/11/2017 05:42

Baby number 4 has arrived.

I’m doing ok but may be descending into insomnia mode! Braxton Hicks are a regular visitor as is heartburn.

34 week Midwife appointment today and third ante natal class tomorrow. Bag is packed in case of early baby but still lots of time to go.

How are you?

Pipasaur · 15/11/2017 20:57

Hello all! Late to this party, due 17th December with our first little one. Any chance someone could add me to the Facebook group?
We've just moved to a new area and know very few people so would be good to get some support online too!!
Much love xx

flossyfloss · 15/11/2017 21:11

Hello everyone, I’m new - I’m actually due January and a member of the January club but I have a sneaky feeling I’m going to go early! Babies head is very low and midwife said not to hold my breath to get to 40 weeks Confused this is my 5th baby so I’ve got my hands full 🙈

Can I also join the Facebook group? I see your babies have started arriving already! How exciting Smile

tuxedocat · 16/11/2017 14:56

Bluebell I'm still here - 20 ish days til EDD and certainly starting to feel like it's finally all setting in. How are you doing?

ScotsLamb · 17/11/2017 06:48

Hi ladies

If you send a private message with the email address you signed up to Facebook with I can add you to the group. You don’t need to have access to that email anymore, just so we can find you on Facebook.

Not long for everyone now. I have 5 weeks and 2 days until due date! Eek.

Brens13 · 17/11/2017 11:40

If anyone has sent me a msg to add them in the last week please can you send the request again to Scots. My baby was baby number 4 of the group, arriving on Tuesday so have been a bit busy, sorry! 😂 unfortunately I can't add emails to the group on my phone, otherwise I'd have done it. Thank you and welcome!

Mrsbluebell17 · 18/11/2017 10:12

Hey everyone!!

@Brens13 congratulations - hope all is well? How exciting!

@tuxedocat hey!! How you getting on? Have you had any signs or anything yet? I’m trying not to read into everything with about 3 odd weeks to go.

@ScotsLamb it’s so exciting isn’t it but I can’t help but keep thinking I’m going to go overdue so I’m trying not to get my hopes up.

ScotsLamb · 18/11/2017 11:48

I think I’ve managed to add everyone who asked to be added.

Bluebell I am using my 42 week date as my countdown in my head so I’m not stressing as much. So still 7 weeks and 1 day to go.

tuxedocat · 18/11/2017 23:03

@bluebell I'm good! we are almost ready so trying not to look at anything as potential signs as I'd really like him to stay out for another week or two (I'm still working!) but my hubs is constantly thinking everything is a sign, bless 😂

how are you doing, are you excited? I'm actually starting to get a little nervous - time has gone so fast!!

Mrsbluebell17 · 19/11/2017 07:53

@ScotsLamb that’s what I keep saying to my DH too to be honest

@tuxedocat I’m the same. One minute I’m giddy with excitement. The next I’m worrying.

It’s a rollercoaster of emotions!

ScotsLamb · 19/11/2017 10:40

I was worrying in the three hour stint of being awake from 3am last night. Thinking I have no idea how to breastfeed, properly change a nappy, put tiny arms in babygrows, wash a baby, know if baby has been burped properly, know if it’s too hot/cold, argh!!!! I hate that time at night. I overthink everything.

At ante natal class they were talking about getting as much help from family and friends as possible once baby is here. That slightly scares me as I’m so independent usually and i hate people seeing me fail or do something wrong but I don’t know how to do things right for the baby. I think I need to read more books!

tuxedocat · 19/11/2017 16:54

@scots I feel the same! But I think instinct will take over and once baby is born the MW's will lend a hand to show you how to do things

ScotsLamb · 19/11/2017 20:51

@tuxedocat I’m rational about it now. It can’t be that difficult to work out baby grows, nappies etc breastfeeding support is everywhere and worst case scenario for us would be bottles which isn’t the end of the world.
I know it will be fine and I’ll learn lots of new skills. It’s just 3am brain which is always stressed!
