Hello folks...I'm here!!! The ISP changeover went smoothly (much to my surprise!).

CD - did you get my emails...how much do I owe you?

1b3 - I am and at how the hospital treated you. I hope they are better today. It's appauling how long they let you sit around. I really feel for you.

EllieK - Does the agency have an agreed date to pay you (i.e. do you always get paid on the same day each week or same date of the month or do you have a contract stating when they will pay you) cos if so and they haven't paid you by that date they are in breach of contract and any charges you get as a result they are responsible for. (e.g. if phone company cut you off and you had to pay for reconnection).

Think I've got a bit of a cough, made me feel really sicky this morning but have felt better since DH got me some lunch. (We have a sarnie shop across the road from our house and it's dead cheap & yummy! - will come in useful when LO is here and we don't have time to make anything!!!!)

Got a phonecall from sis last night to ask if I'd had the baby, she sounded quite alarmed when I said no. Turned out mum had been telling her about my mw appointment the day before (head 1/5th engaged) and one of them had got confused and said I was 1 inch dilated...so sis thought I was in labour!!! Think it was mum getting all confused but she denied it when I rung her to make sure she wasn't telling everyone I was in labour!!!

What kind of mother am I going to be if I can't remember to water my plants (all 2 of them) from one week to the next?

Katy44 · 23/03/2007 15:53

nuttygirl - LOL at your sis's confusion - that sounds like something my mum would do and then deny all knowledge

nuttygirl · 23/03/2007 16:05

LOL Katy44 - I have 2 plants in my house...think I've watered them once. good job DH occasionally remembers!!! Thay are looking a bit dead tho.

Just remember....plants don't scream for England when they want something!!!!

Hello hello! Popping in while mum is checking sis' knitting tension . I thought I was meant to be the boring one at the moment?! unfortunately can't exactly think of too many better things for us to do at the moment, feel very tired and more than happy to just slouch in front of satellite tv...

Scan was lovely, baby is estimated 6.5lbs already at 35 weeks so they reckon he's going to be a big 'un. Radiographer's asst said 'ha, you're going to have some birth!' [eeeeek] but it was lovely to see him, it's much harder to make things out now that he's so big but got a glimpse of his face and of course he looks beautiful . Have confirmed it IS his big fat arse that I have wedged under my ribs. Bloody painful.

Off to try and buy those tablets from ebay now then better rejoin the family.. have a lovely evening everyone x

ok, you're making it look like there's only me on this thread

on my last day at work heard that one of the other girls had her baby last night, she was due on 25th march but gave birth to an 8lb 2oz baby girl last night. As she is shorter than me (and i'm only 5'4), and when not pg she's size 6/8, that's a bloody big baby
