I have just got a (faint) BFP which, going by ovulation, would give me an EDD of March 2nd.

I recently had two early MC so I'm definitely not getting excited yet - but equally trying to stay positive and believe this one might just stick, hence starting this thread!

This would be my second DC, I have a DD who is 26 months.

Anyone else?!

haha @xxHappyHippyxx I know what you mean! I promised myself I wouldn't obsessively google this time but....

hometownunicorn · 19/07/2017 11:10

@whyhastherumgone cautiously happy and waiting and seeing is exactly the same as how I'm feeling. Similarly had a MC at 9 weeks back in march and I thought I'd be terrified now but I'm mostly just dizzy and taking things one day at a time.

Pinky333777 · 19/07/2017 11:14

I'm 5+3 today.
Went to bed at 7:30pm last night and stayed there until the alarm went off at 6:30am
I'd have stayed in bed longer if able!!
Still feeling under the weather with cough/cold type stuff, although I think I've been too quick to blame being pregnant on everything!
It seems there's a cough going about as today I became aware of three other ppl who have it.
The tiredness and aching limbs I AM still pinning on pregnancy Wink

One of my bosses seemed taken aback when I said I'd been feeling under the weather and that I think the pregnancy has left my immune system a bit low... She couldn't seem to equate one to the other.
I felt a little silly.
Does that not happen then?
Sure I read somewhere amongst my almost obsessive googling and forum reading that a low immune system is linked as a symptom of early preganancy.
Did I imagine it??

Pinky333777 · 19/07/2017 11:15

And what's with the random bottles of what appear to be gin in my posts?
I'm trying for smilies! HmmSmile

SheSaidHeSaid · 19/07/2017 11:18

Haha pinky I can only see the smiley faces, no gin in your posts Smile

stumblymonkeyagain · 19/07/2017 11:22

You're not imagining it @Pinky333777 pregnancy does lower your immune system.

One of the reasons you have to be careful with what you eat is that pregnant women are more susceptible to things like listeriosis because of reduced immunity.

MrsW0812 · 19/07/2017 11:38

Hope all is well with the scan etc x

I'm 5 +1 today - my boobs have been sore and sonswitched to a non underwired bra and seems to have helped. I'm shattered but seem tonne coping. Nothing else so far which is making me worried - as I was having some cramping for a while.

I think I feel nauseas but I can't tell.

Feel really moody and moany today - sorry ladies. First pregnancy for me

FuzzyOwl · 19/07/2017 11:38

Thinking of you @SheSaidHeSaid

SheSaidHeSaid · 19/07/2017 11:42

Dr called me, he is going to refer me to the early pregnancy unit and said if I haven't heard from them by Friday lunch time to call them to find out when they can scan me. He said all the normal things like, if you feel more unwell or bleed more call back on the emergency line otherwise I just have to wait. He did say to prepare myself in case things don't go to plan though ☹️.

Will tell my private scan people tonight what's happened and ask them to look but prob won't relax till I've been to NHS.

Pinky333777 · 19/07/2017 12:00

Fingers crossed for you @hesaidshesaid
Wishing you all the best x

rebbles · 19/07/2017 12:18

Today I am eating all the M&S made without wheat ginger snaps. Doings the trick to ease my nausea.

Went to bed at 7pm last night and got woken up by toddler 3 times. Feeling a bit better today. So glad it is the end of term for me tomorrow.

Hope everyone feeling a bit less tired and sick!

whyhastherumgone · 19/07/2017 12:22

@Hometownunicorn I completely know how you feel. Are you going to have an early scan? I was told at my last EPU that i could have an early scan at 7 weeks on the nhs even if I moved but my new surgery won't see you til eight week so think i'm going to.

Does anyone else have random gagging/retching but isn't actually sick? It started this morning, came over really odd and dizzy then had a bout of gagging over the loo but nothing much happened then it passed as suddenly as it came on.

whyhastherumgone · 19/07/2017 12:22

Good luck shesaid let us know how you get on

EsmeeMerlin · 19/07/2017 12:25

I am 7+1 and feeling awful today. I had nausea last week but this weeks it's been a lot of vomiting and generally feeling awful. Worst is I have my toddler on my own and we are staying with my grandmother for the week taking care of her due to a op she had Monday. Dh is off work at the weekend so I can get some rest then thankfully.

Am trying to eat little and often, eating ginger biscuits and drinking lemon water which seems to help a little.

LaSurprise · 19/07/2017 12:25

Can I join? Smile

Found out on Monday that I'm pregnant, around 5w4d now I think so due mid march! First baby so all a bit overwhelming at the moment and doesn't really feel real! I just want a scan so I can see there is actually something in there! Even the doctor today didn't test me, just took my word for it and referred me to the midwife... so of course I came home and peed on a stick haha!

Think we are going to book a private scan at the FMC for 10 weeks - even that seems so long away!

rebbles · 19/07/2017 12:30

@xxHappyhippyxx I have just got some bralettes they are good option , no wires and will be good for bf too!

user1497033503 · 19/07/2017 12:37

Lasuprise im 5 weeks 4 days today to! Or so I think going from my LMP but I think I might possibly be less as think I ovulated late, found out Friday! I've booked a private scan for 12/8 when I'll be 8-9 weeks! First baby and I've never felt so stressed and worried in my life! Can't wait to check there is acctually some thing in there! No sickness at all for me yet, boobs are massive and sore and had some cramping which has gone off today and apart from that I'm just shattered! Had a nap in the day the last two days haha

xxHappyHippyxx · 19/07/2017 12:38

Yeah @rebbles I think that's what it was in primark, got a couple last time I went shopping but I don't mind an excuse to buy new underwear ever!

LaSurprise · 19/07/2017 12:59

We may be due date twins user149!

Ive felt a little bit nauseous but haven't actually been sick, had an upset stomach though and did have sore boobs although they're okay now!

Nerve wracking stuff!

user1497033503 · 19/07/2017 13:17

Yes! When is your scan? Have you booked one? Anyone know how to change my name from user? I feel I'm not a proper member haha!

It's horrendously nerve racking isn't it! I wish I could see inside to see what's going on! Good luck with everything, sending you all the best wishes and everything!

Gallopingfeet · 19/07/2017 13:24

Okay I changed it so I'm no longer user149! Still the same thoughGrin

RoosMummy2012 · 19/07/2017 13:39

I'm worried about my weight this time around but all I want to do is EAT EVERYTHING!!
I got myself an exercise bike so I can squeeze in a bit of exercise, didn't quite go to plan as I ate a bowl of ice cream whilst I was pedalling last night Blush

Drizz · 19/07/2017 14:21

Quietly sticking my head in, 6+something here, and been following you for a while. Lost my details from ttc for many years, as all my MN groups have migrated to fb. totally in shock to find myself spontaneously pregnant after 2 IVF kids and assorted ttc nightmare with mcs and endless treatment before

xxHappyHippyxx · 19/07/2017 14:36

Hi @Drizz and congratulations!!

@RoosMummy2012 haha I think cycle machines should be installed with ice cream bowls as standard tbh! And I'm exactly the same, totally insatiable.. 😅
