I have just got a (faint) BFP which, going by ovulation, would give me an EDD of March 2nd.

I recently had two early MC so I'm definitely not getting excited yet - but equally trying to stay positive and believe this one might just stick, hence starting this thread!

This would be my second DC, I have a DD who is 26 months.

Anyone else?!

Can you manage to have any early nights rebbles? Otherwise are you able to bribe your toddler with anything to distract them so you can at least zone out for a little while?

SheSaidHeSaid · 17/07/2017 22:33

Thanks for the link Mog, that has line at 7th march, which is what I thought - so that's good!

No help on the tiredness front unfortunately, I spent almost all of Saturday afternoon and evening asleep, because I could. Still felt shattered though. I seem to be getting more tired as the days go by. Looking forward to this stage ending.

Boobs a little less sore. I feel like they're already growing too. Don't know if I'm imagining it though.

stumblymonkeyagain · 18/07/2017 06:36

@SophSoph92

My boobs have been less sore the past few days. There's still a bit of tenderness if I poke them which I keep doing just to check

Extreme bloating, tiredness and nausea still here. The nausea isn't too bad though for me and only a couple of times a day if I'm out and about. If I'm relaxed at home I don't seem to get it.

Pinky333777 · 18/07/2017 06:49

I feel like crap!!

Yesterday and today I've had a very sore chesty cough with slight wheezing, aching joints/limbs, headache and just feeling like I'm coming down with the flu.
Yuk!
I had to go for a lay down for an hour at work yesterday.
I struggled to sleep last night and my lovely partner sprawled himself across the bed at 4pm so I've been awake since then.
I need to get myself to work now.
Really can't be bothered!
My partner feels it best I avoid taking anything like paracetamol - and initially I felt the same, but I don't think I can get through today without some.

Sorry for the moan, I'm just feeling poopy and sorry for myself :/

Pinky333777 · 18/07/2017 06:50

Silly Auto correct... wish I was in bed at 4pm! Grin
*4am

MrsW0812 · 18/07/2017 06:53

Awww @Pinky333777 sounds like your having a crap time.

I've only got the sore boobs and extreme tiredness. Had annual leave from work since Thursday so today is the first day back since I found out about my little poppy seed.

No nausea yet which I'm worried about but I think I'm a little behind you lovelynladies - as not due til mid end of march.

Pinky333777 · 18/07/2017 06:58

I was feeling fine until Monday. A little tired perhaps.
I was actually beginning to convince myself my body was going to be really nice to me through this pregnancy, haha!
I've not had nausea yet either.... but I am only 5wks.

I like how you refer to baby as your poppy seed.
I was calling mine poppy then pip. Not sure what the size comparison is next Grin

stumblymonkeyagain · 18/07/2017 07:08

Mine is lentil this week, so that's its name Grin

SophSoph92 · 18/07/2017 07:30

I really love this group and all others as it's so nice to have people to talk to who are in the same boat, especially because for most of us it's still a secret, but does anyone else find themselves constantly comparing their stage of pregnancy, symptoms etc and feeling abnormal or worrying that something's really wrong because they don't feel sick yet or their boobs don't hurt like hell?! I'm really struggling to remember that every pregnancy Is different and every Mummy-to-be experiences it a different way 🙈

Flatwhite31 · 18/07/2017 07:34

Morning ladies! What are your nausea tips? Mine has well and truly kicked in as of yesterday. No vomiting thankfully, but the nausea is there all day. I have got Ritz crackers ready for work today. What works for you?

Am supposed to be going out for dinner tonight, but the thought of that is making me go green right now!

Flatwhite31 · 18/07/2017 07:35

@Pinky333777 I barely had any nausea at 5 weeks either. Mine has just properly kicked in at nearly 7 weeks.

MrsW0812 · 18/07/2017 07:44

@Pinky333777 @stumblymonkeyagain I think mine is officially an apple or orange seed this week - but still like the sound of poppy seed ha

@SophSoph92 I'm the same. Keep googling everything and trying to work out am I normal etc???

So glad got this group!

GWeatherwax · 18/07/2017 07:53

Morning all Smile
Flatwhite Twinings lemon and ginger tea seems to be doing the trick for me. That plus a ginger snap - winner.

No tips for tiredness I'm afraid, I slept for hours yesterday afternoon. So glad I'm off for a fortnight!

Mine is now the size of either a blueberry or a grain of rice, depending on which app I use Smile has anybody else decided on a cute nickname for baby? I love lentil and pip Grin

WiIdfire · 18/07/2017 08:11

Nausea started properly at 7+3, but better if I eat, so off to buy a selection of savoury biscuits to nibble on.

Mines 'bean' at the moment. Teeny tiny human bean.

MrsW0812 · 18/07/2017 08:15

I like bean @WiIdfire - my friend used to call her baby bean when she was pregnant. It's cute and works 😀

Not really sure what to call it out loud - hubby and I have just been calling it 'it' which isn't lovely 😞

MrsW0812 · 18/07/2017 08:16

@Flatwhite31 I read that ginger biscuits are meant to be good for nausea - I quite often drink ginger or peppermint tea when I'm feeling nauseas (before pregnancy)

TeaAndPjs · 18/07/2017 09:28

soph other than tingly nipples and the odd throb here and there my boobs haven't been sore!

TeaAndPjs · 18/07/2017 09:32

With my eldest I nibbled hob nobs to ease nausea and with my 2nd it was boiled sweets/mints etc, only thing that would ease it, not suffering this time yet thankfully but at the same time that's making me panic

GiveMeTheTeaAndNobodyGetsHurt · 18/07/2017 09:50

Marmite on toast seems to work well for me when I feel sick - well aware that wont work for everyone though Grin

Melon and/or grapes with a can of coke are good too (my go to hangover cure!)

SophSoph92 · 18/07/2017 09:51

@TeaAndPjs cool! Same as me then! Although I have noticed they're more veiny 😷😂

GiveMeTheTeaAndNobodyGetsHurt · 18/07/2017 09:55

Oh, and little one is currently referred to as 'the tadpole', but I don't think that'll work for long - quite like Pip. DD's in-utero name was Peanut. Smile

Fefifoefum · 18/07/2017 09:59

Ughhhh, I think I've completely over done it and now I feel miserable! Worked 60+ hrs, then got up and drove 100 miles to visit friends, and back.
Now I'm exhausted, I feel constantly sick, and new development, am actually being sick!

Sorry need a moan, I feel dreadful, I don't know how I'm going to cope with work.

FuzzyOwl · 18/07/2017 10:02

I don't usually suffer with morning sickness but do feel a bit queasy this morning. It could be from lack of sleep though but I am not feeling up to my prenatal tablet this morning due to the iron, that always make me feel yucky. Whenever I feel sick, I find being cold helps.

TeaAndPjs · 18/07/2017 10:08

soph mines aren't getting veiny yet but that could change!

fuzzyowl i agree that cooling down helps with sicky feeling

DancingUnicorn · 18/07/2017 10:16

Tea mine sound like yours. The occasional throb, but mostly fine. It was worrying me, but I'm trying to go with the flow a little. Whatever I can do to try to be calm for a few days.

Sorry people are really suffering with the nausea. Last time, nothing really helped me. This time I'm not suffering so badly, which is nice but scary! Lol. Never pleased.

I'm mostly just feeling 'off' and 'pathetic' in that it takes a lot of effort to do basic things. Get head rush very frequently too.
