I have just got a (faint) BFP which, going by ovulation, would give me an EDD of March 2nd.

I recently had two early MC so I'm definitely not getting excited yet - but equally trying to stay positive and believe this one might just stick, hence starting this thread!

This would be my second DC, I have a DD who is 26 months.

Anyone else?!

Hello @rebbles. Congratulations!
Gracie, my tiredness fluctuates, but I'm convinced mine is job related, as I feel no more tired than I normally do (primary teaching is exhausting). So, that considered, my only symptom is sore boobs! Sometimes wonder why I have no other symptoms, but it's still early days. Have you done any more tests?

Flatwhite31 · 27/06/2017 20:00

That should say *I wonder why!

DancingUnicorn · 27/06/2017 20:43

I've done a couple more tests because of all the spotting. But I'm determined to not do anymore now!

Gracie20 · 27/06/2017 20:56

I haven't tested since the digital last Monday. Might test again to see if the weeks reader goes up but worried it won't have 😥. I'm a teacher as well flatwhite but I teach sixth form.

GiveMeTheTeaAndNobodyGetsHurt · 27/06/2017 20:57

~waves at mum-twin Gracie20 ~ Grin

It's very early for any symptoms beyond a missed period at this stage, but fluctuating symptoms always make us worry. We'll all be shuffling around like zombies, saying 'ow my tits' at every step, in a few weeks...

Flatwhite31 · 27/06/2017 21:07

Apparently the weeks thing on the digital isn't always accurate! I've got another one in the bathroom cupboard, but I'm a bit reticent to do it as well! Have you all registered with a midwife?

rebbles · 27/06/2017 21:26

@Gracie20 I teach sixth form too! They are all off on study leave now so have a very easy job at the moment.

DancingUnicorn · 27/06/2017 21:54

I self referred on Sunday. Only 4 weeks, but booking last time not until gone 11! Would love to see someone earlier to discuss anxiety!!

I'm already starting to feel the tiredness... boobs are still mostly ok though. Hopefully not for long!

foresttrees2 · 28/06/2017 01:34

I can I join? Internet also gives me March 3rd so the same as a few others here! We have been trying for a year following a miscarriage last summer. I don't want to let myself get too excited yet!

DancingUnicorn · 28/06/2017 07:11

Hi forest. Cautious excitement is my continuous frame of mind. I don't want to be too excited, but at the same time I don't want to be not excited at all! I'm sorry about your loss, and the long journey. Tentative congratulations! Here's to a healthy pregnancy!

Flatwhite31 · 28/06/2017 07:26

Welcome @forest! Congratulations.
Nice to see a few teachers on here. I'm on at least 50-60 hours a week at the moment. Absolutely exhausted. Roll on summer hols!

Gracie20 · 28/06/2017 09:18

Rebbles you've got to love summer term in a sixth form college!

I got a 3+ on a digital this morning at 5 w 2 days so I am happy about that. Feeling cautiously positive!

Gracie20 · 28/06/2017 09:19

Sorry flatwhite that you are working so hard - realise my comment about sixth form might be a bit insensitive. Forest - welcome and congrats!

DancingUnicorn · 28/06/2017 09:35

I don't dare do a weeks indicator. My ic this morning was significantly darker... REALLY need to stop peeing on things now though.

DancingUnicorn · 28/06/2017 09:37

I'm an 'ex' teacher. I now have a regular office job! Can cope much better with this. Though my brain is switching off already, and it's only half 9!

Fertilityflump · 28/06/2017 14:04

Hello ladies, may I join you? I'm due 1st March, so it's early days. Been a long journey and we got here via IVF (we transferred two embryos so there's a possibility of twins). Had a miscarriage last September at 6 weeks, so feeling rather anxious and grateful for every day that passes without incident!

DancingUnicorn · 28/06/2017 14:32

Hi flump. I think there are already a few of us with previous losses to join you in the anxious moments. Really hope things work out for you this time.

Fertilityflump · 28/06/2017 15:41

Thanks @DancingUnicorn, I really hope so for you and all of us here too.

Flatwhite31 · 28/06/2017 17:08

@Gracie20, not at all! Teaching is a hard job regardless of the age you teach. Primary is always crazy, especially in the summer term. Enjoy any extra time you have Smile.

@DancingUnicorn, I'm sometimes very tempted to get an office job! As I said in a previous post, I can't differentiate between pregnancy and teaching tiredness, as the latter is also very extreme!

I also did a Clearblue digital this morning! I'm 4 weeks, and it said 2-3, so that's correct as I know those tests go from conception and not from the first period like doctors and midwives do. It's absolutely right, as I know we conceived either 3 weeks ago on Sat, or 3 weeks ago on Sun! 5 days ago my Clearblue said 1-2 weeks, so it has been right so far. I was SO nervous waiting for it though!

Welcome @FertilityFlump. Keeping everything crossed for you. Xx

DancingUnicorn · 28/06/2017 19:11

I just burst into tears at dh. I swore I wouldn't complain about anything pregnancy related because I know how lucky I am to be pregnant. But I'm unfathomably exhausted. I cannot concentrate on anything at all, and I have so much work I need to do right now. Sorry... needed a little moan.

Fertilityflump · 28/06/2017 20:32

Thanks @FlatWhite31! I did Clearblue this morning too and got 2-3 weeks, which was a relief as a week ago today it said 1-2, so I think that's a good sign!

@DancingUnicorn the things I have cried/snapped at this week, omg. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster!

GiveMeTheTeaAndNobodyGetsHurt · 28/06/2017 20:47

DH is drinking wine. I want wine but obviously can't have it. Bastard.

DancingUnicorn · 28/06/2017 20:50

Flump yes! I feel guilty that I'm happy about being pregnant again and I feel guilty that I'm thinking about the little one I'll never meet and I feel guilty that I'm pregnant and other people are still trying and having a tough time. And I'm knackered. Which just overflowed in tears!! Which now all seems very funny!

Givemethetea. Mean of him to drink in front of you.

I'm going to a drinking event tomorrow night. It's going to be sooooooo obvious. Oh well.

Gracie20 · 28/06/2017 21:17

Welcome @fertilityflump.
Re-drinking, I spent my work event last week surreptitiously discarding my glass of prosecco off the side of our boat (we went on a trip on the Thames). Pretty sure my boss noticed!

Fefifoefum · 28/06/2017 21:26

Hello! Can I join you all?
I got a positive this evening, I was two days late for the AF, but I only normally have 23 day cycles, so still really worried that AF will appear!

This is only our first cycle TTC so quite a shock! I was prepared for months!

Stats:
I'm 28, he's 33
This will be our first baba.
Due 6th of march 2018 according to dates.

I'm so nervous/excited.
Feel like a bit of a plum, do I ring the GP already?
Going to do another test in the morning as it was quite a faint line... eek!
