Thread #6 for the chatty mums due in December (or thereabouts!).

As we move into the second trimester there will be more dating scans, gender reveals and burgeoning bumps - and hopefully a reduction in nausea!

I'm just finishing a very hot, spewey and busy night! Had to buzz a few times to get colleagues in to relieve me for a few mins while I went to vom, very bad times. Bed time! Xx

Welcome minimac. Not sure about work, I told my work when I was about 13 weeks after my first NHS scan.

Just had a bagel with posh raspberry jam, was lush! Tucked up now so hope for a good sleep, be happy with anything after 2pm xx

So I've phoned in sick to work, I'm not touching my marking until I feel better and I've phoned the doctors. I have an appointment at 10.20 as they want to see me rather than prescribe over the phone. They are concerned about how hydrated I am. I think I'm ok with that. It's just food. Or lack of. And it not staying where it should.
I'm going to give the house the a little tidy before I go and do as advised and leave a note for the cleaner. She is so lovely she won't mind.
I was just struggling with my to do list and nausea last night. Today I'm feeling much more in control even though none of my to do list will get done.
Fingers crossed they prescribe me drugs and don't send me to hospital!

Brens I noticed that too. Think they all went to Facebook very early on. I think it was that group that is also almost all team yellow. Or maybe it was November group.

ScotsLamb That probably explains it then. Maybe they weren't quite so obsessed with food as us either lol.
I hope now that you're a bit less stressed with regards to your to do list you can start to feel better soon. I hope the doctors can also give you something to help, then you can go home and stay somewhere cosy but cool until you're feeling well.

In my last group our thread on here died a death pretty quickly after we all moved to FB.

So been to dr. I've been given anti sickness tablets, ironed going for tests as I may have a urine infection and I've been signed off work. Not happy about the last bit but she's recommends it and I know if my head teacher knew I had been signed off and still went in he would be very cross.
Am I allowed to go to the highland show now? Can I go into school on Wednesday afternoon to hear the speeches for those retiring?

Carlotta surely you've got to have a girl. I think there's only one other girl on this thread so far. Anyway, I think she's keeping her legs crossed like a little lady, so we can't see. Nothing like my boy who was tugging on his willy at the scan!!!

Also Carlotta I hope you got some sleep. I had a bit, but I'm still knackered. Working 8pm-5am tonight, joy.

Slept about 9 til 2, last one tonight, I'm 8 til 8, felt alright when I got up but feel shattered again now! Our poor bodies! As if they don't have enough going on right now x

Hi everyone. I wrote a couple of weeks ago that we had the gender in an envelope and would open it on our anniversary. Today was the big day and the doctor wrote we are 90% having a girl ❤

15+4, due 20th December. Will be 28 when baby is born. Hoping for a girl, but like most people, don't mind!

Has my 12 week scan at 14 weeks, all good!
Had a bonus 9 week scan as I had a seizure and was out cold for 5 minutes. All OK though!
