Thread #6 for the chatty mums due in December (or thereabouts!).

As we move into the second trimester there will be more dating scans, gender reveals and burgeoning bumps - and hopefully a reduction in nausea!

Apologies for not being on here a lot but I got married! Woo! We announced the pregnancy at the reception and it was so lovely!

16 weeks now and definitely feeling very pregnant in this heat! Anyone else's feet swollen up like balloons?

Dating scan went well today :) They put me 5 days ahead so now 13+4 and due on 22nd Dec. All looked good on the scan (backflips and all) and they gave me the combined results (only had to wait 45 mins after the scan) - 1 in 10000 for DS and less than 1 in 20000 for Edwards/Patau. So relieved and happy! Now to tell everyone :)

I'm jealous of all the FB bump pics and now the flutterings people are feeling. I'm currently only 13+3 and am still only looking a little podgy and the only flutterings I'm feeling are definitely bloat related!

So jealous of all the movement! My placenta is at the back so I've been told I should feel him early but it's my first so trying not to get too excited/disappointed- plus only 15w today!

Welcome back bikerchick, glad you had a good break. I spent a small fortune in Seraphine at the weekend if you need more recommendations- I was really ally impressed with the dresses which suit work and play and it's so nice to be out of a 4 dress rotation!!!

Ha I basically see myself as being in 2 different antenatal groups at the moment - this one and the Facebook group! I probably offer my congratulations on scans etc completely unwittingly because I still haven't worked out names vs real names.

Ooo so exciting @glastogal !! Currently can still only feel Little Biker externally although I had one day last week when I felt a funny series of 'popping' inside. Hoping it'll be soon now when I can feel him internally too 😄

Ah, we are opposite then biker - I can't feel Bug externally at all!! And I only felt kicks once.. nothing today! And I doubt I will feel him for the next few days at Glasto because I will be too distracted!!

On the spreadsheet on the fb I think there is a column of everyone's user names.

Although I've obviously lost the plot.. I posted on here twice yesterday but they're not here technical glitch or I'm just losing it!

Congrats feeling, lovely pic :) so jealous you got your combined test results so quickly, had my scan last week and still waiting for mine. They did say I'd get a phone call if it was high risk so I assume it's all fine.

Just had my 16 week midwife appointment and heard little bump's heartbeat which was amazing. One more scan with NHS and then I'll basically just be waiting to give birth! It will be a looooong few weeks!

Anyone got names chosen yet? We love Henry, but is it a bit old fashioned? Or does it just remind people of their hoover??? 😂

Also thanks for the congratulations everyone. I can't believe I'm having a son! It makes it seem so real now

I'm the same as biker, I know if I join the FB group I'll be constantly on there so am resisting at the moment.
