Thread #6 for the chatty mums due in December (or thereabouts!).

As we move into the second trimester there will be more dating scans, gender reveals and burgeoning bumps - and hopefully a reduction in nausea!

Brens - thank you, I'm not in a hotel where they do food or room service etc......So no chance of any milk, but will head to a shop or at least McDonald's drive through first thing and get some milk. I'm currently awake though, not sure if it's the milk free tummy that's woken me (but I do feel hungry at this hour!!) or whether it's my usual early AM wake ups anyway........

Everyone else sleeping ok? Or any early wakers today?

Brens13 · 20/06/2017 06:48

Aw I'm sorry bluebell. I slept pretty badly last night, but not awake long enough to come and say hello. Have had a bad stomach so hard to get comfortable and still feeling pretty uncomfortable now I'm up. Ah well. Hope everyone has a good day!

ScotsLamb · 20/06/2017 07:33

I've also had a night of hunger (hope this means I can eat this morning) and lots of stretching going on too.
Good luck in the heat today ladies.

Oysterbabe · 20/06/2017 07:56

So hot 😑
Toddler couldn't sleep last night which obviously means no one could sleep. She eventually settled after I threw DH out into the spare room and had her in with me. So little sleep. I'm going to be a zombie at my desk today.

StumpyScot92 · 20/06/2017 08:56

The sun is finally creeping it's way up to Scotland, was warm yesterday but nothing like you lot are dealing with however, I don't envy you at all!

I am absolutely exhausted, last night I got home from work, walked the dog, slept for 2 and a half hours, woke up sat with DP for an hour on the couch and then went back to sleep for another 8 hours and I could quite easily crawl back into my bed now. I'm 14+6 I thought this should be going by now! :(

TootsyBella84 · 20/06/2017 10:42

Hey all!

I hope you enjoy your new job zabe.

Japan I hope you have no more bleeding. Definitely call for advice if you're still concerned.

Good luck with your scan today Monty

I got my test results back the other day but on the letter it only has DS results which are 1 in 100,000. I assumed I would get results for them all but I'm assuming it's low risk otherwise surely I would have had a call.

14+6 today. I've been feeling pretty good lately and have had more energy so I thought I would try giving up my anti sickness tablets to see if I'm still relying on them. I puked 3 times yesterday morning before I caved and took one. Spoke to the gp today who is giving me another prescription. Looks like I'm in it for the long haul. I'm just so glad they actually work, nothing worked when I was pregnant with my son. HG sucks!

How is everyone else feeling?

CarlottaJo · 20/06/2017 10:58

Oooh lots of us in club 14+6 today. I feel grim still, tired, sickly and generally out of sorts! Still waiting for my Harmony results too so that's playing on my mind x

MontyPants · 20/06/2017 12:16

It's a boy!!! 😊

glastogal · 20/06/2017 12:19

Woohoo!! Congratulations Monty.. this thread is full of boys 😆 it will be a race to see who gets pee in the face first 😂

Brens13 · 20/06/2017 12:25

Congratulations Monty!

Hope the sickness starts easing soon Tootsy, doesn't sound fun at all for all you suffering.

So far at work today I've been given a pecan pastry at someone's leaving thing and boss bought us all ice lollies - today is a good day Grin

Brens13 · 20/06/2017 12:45

Also - I've just bought a carton of Tropicana Quench - mint infused water with lemon and apple juice - oh my god it's amazing. So thirst quenching but not quite so sticky or sickly as juice or fizz (which I love too). When we were in Marrakech at Easter they often bought out water with lemon and mint and it was delicious, so I'm so happy to find this.

CarlottaJo · 20/06/2017 13:07

Eeek congratulations @MontyPants, so many little men on here! X

MontyPants · 20/06/2017 14:14

I thought it was a boy tbh, but yep there's loads of them on here! We all seem to have been blessed with the same kind of baby dust.

Tip from the sonographer to get baby moving on the scan: have a sugary drink beforehand. I had one of those frozen lemonade drinks from McDonald's (I'm not usually this unhealthy, honest...) and the baby was wiggling all over the place and tugging on his willy!!!!

pauseplayrepeat · 20/06/2017 14:55

Ah, congrats Monty!

CarlottaJo · 20/06/2017 15:25

Sounds like a typical boy already @MontyPants xx

Chamonix1 · 20/06/2017 15:59

Hi everyone. Sorry I've been absent been dealing with lots of grieving people and looking after their kids since I got back from holiday.
Corr it's hot. I hope everyone is coping!
Nice to see so many boys on the thread, maybe all of us not finding our are having the girls?!
Currently collapsed in a heap eating a calipo. Pretty sure it's hotter than it was in Ibiza; it certainly feels it today!

CarlottaJo · 20/06/2017 16:00

Harmony results all low risk, so happy right now!

pauseplayrepeat · 20/06/2017 16:04

Brilliant news Carlotta.

So hot, melting even with a fan pointed on my feet and one pointed at my head.

Tootsy I tried cutting down my HG meds too as I was feeling good. Within 24 hours I spewed. Back to full dose!

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 20/06/2017 17:14

I'm back!!!!!

Yay to the good scans and all the team blue announcements! 💙

Love the beard baby grow @glastogal! Enjoy the weekend!

@Lixon - have just had to order one of those dresses too as it looks so great!

17 weeks today and have definitely started feeling round ligament pains (which seemed to go into the top of my inner thigh as well on the flight back). Still experiencing really painful wind (finally gave in last night and took some Rennie), particularly at night - I might give up eating proper meals in the evenings and stick to fruit and cheese... and the headaches, especially in this heat (and I am usually a serious sun worshipper!)! 😫

Had a bit of a worry as couldn't feel Little Biker moving for a couple of days and worries the trip was too much for him, but he definitely poked a limb out today! Tummy now feels v different too - hard and rounded, not just flabby anymore 😛 Have had to buy new shorts for the gym too - just can't breathe in normal clothes anymore!🤰💙

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 20/06/2017 17:16

Oh and the Cyclizine did its job in terms of stopping travel sickness, but the side effects were not fun. Don't think I'll be doing anymore abroad trips until after Little Biker arrives now 😞

QueenEnid · 20/06/2017 17:54

Place marking too!! Not been reading much as I'm mainly on the fb group!

Anyone that wants adding please pm me and I'll add you. It's a secret group so not available without an invite x

Sent a PM @QueenEnid was hard work 😂

Mrsbluebell17 · 20/06/2017 19:56

Wonderful news Monty 💙

Also great news for you Carlotta.

Chamonix* I hope everything is going ok.

Welcome back biker. Hope you had a fab time! I'm only 15+4 but my tummy has definitely gone rounded and firm too! Still can't feel any movements though.....

Definitely just ate kebab and chips for my tea. Oh maaaaaan! At least I had a wrap and a large pot of fresh pineapple for my lunch - so wasn't totally bad all day! BlushShock

QueenEnid · 20/06/2017 20:22

Everyone who's pmd me has been added 😁.

CarlottaJo · 20/06/2017 20:39
