December 2017 babies #6 - dating scans, gender reveals, the beginning of bumps & the 2nd trimester!

Thread #6 for the chatty mums due in December (or thereabouts!).

As we move into the second trimester there will be more dating scans, gender reveals and burgeoning bumps - and hopefully a reduction in nausea!

We still haven't left mrsB.. boyf is faffing and doing diddly squat, whilst I did all the packing, all the car clearance, been up in the loft, emptied the bins and am basically ready to leave. 17 weeks pregnant today and starting to feel pretty grumpy with him!! (Sorry for the rant)

Not sure what area you live in glasto but hope it doesn't take you too long to get there. It'll be so worth all the effort once you get there, I'll bet!

Hope mrglasto is going to carry all your stuff for you once you get there

I really shouldn't be awake, had to leave work 20 mins early last night as went a lovely shade of green and was soooo tired this morning, now I'm struggling to sleep. Mon pregnant I rely totally on Sominex for my post nights snooze, so missing my fix muchly

I thought there'd be another @glastogal as it's definitely creeping in popularity but it's just so gorgeous, we can't stick on anything else and have had it picked for so long! We have outstanding taste 😀😀💙💙

Just seeing Henry written down actually makes me feel all mushy! I think it's so cute. I can't think of anything else for us. Although Arthur is lovely, good choice Carlotta and Glasto

We decided on Henry after our last loss last year. It still feel like the perfect name

I'm disliking my new job now! I have bloody pages to catch up on on here!

Love Henry and Arthur but then my girls have old lady names so they're right up my street😂

We're planning another old lady name for this one and both like Tess and Nell. I know of dogs with those names though... although thinking about it I know of cats with my DDs' names so there we go!!

Oooh we are going to have very posh babies! My mum just told me she had a dream that I named my baby after someone in the royal family. I haven't told her the name we like, but it's eerily close to her prediction (seeing as prince Harry is actually Henry)

I like Henry and Arthur (and Tess and Nell), lovely names. We're holding off on the serious name discussions until we find out the sex in August - we're so indecisive about names it's impossible at the moment! DH and I have different surnames and I think we've finally decided what to do about that at least :) Unless I change my mind (which has been known...)

Girls our fave is Aoife as my OH is of Irish descent xxxx

Absolutely love both Arthur and Henry as boys names. I totally love traditional names. Still really struggling with girls names though, there's one I like which isn't that dissimilar from the boys name we both love, but DH said he wasn't keen before. Now he's saying he likes it and I'm concerned he's just saying that as we can't agree on any others . So I'm reluctant to accept it at the moment.....
2 weeks on Saturday until we hopefully can find out at our private scan!

We tend to like names that are traditional but underused, I think.

Exciting that you got to hear the heartbeat monty. I hope that I do. My next midwife appointment is in two weeks, I'll be 17 and a half weeks by then 

Felt the heat today, been on a few trains today and it was soooo hot. Had my bro and his gf, and a friend of ours all over for dinner tonight.

Lovely names you all have so far! We have a name for both that we agree on. And a massive list of ones we don't do I think it will be one of our two likely haha but we have promised not to tell anyone any names we're considering. Not sure how long I'll last on that front!

I have 2 or 3 boys names I'm happy with but girls names I am lost. I feel like I'm not as keen on our second choice from last time but I can't work out what my new name tastes are!
