Thread #6 for the chatty mums due in December (or thereabouts!).

As we move into the second trimester there will be more dating scans, gender reveals and burgeoning bumps - and hopefully a reduction in nausea!

Had an early scan at roughly 7 weeks due to bleeding, dating scan is next Wed :)

I'm also expecting #1 via IVF, EDD 29/11/17. Currently 14+5. Had my dating scan and got my 16 week midwife appt and gender scan next week

11+4, due 21st December.
This will be baby number 2. I have a DD who will be turning 2 a couple of weeks after this baby is due. She was born at 35+5 so I'm expecting to not make it to my due date, but really hoping that I do.
Dating scan on Friday. I had a private scan at 9 weeks and all was well.
I've just started to feel a bit better, not quite as tired, not quite as nauseous but still with sore boobs and horrible taste in my mouth.

@glastogal wonder if you'll be our first girl?!

I'm Helen 34 now but 35 in a couple of months.
EDD 26/12 (dating scan on 14 June)
Baby #2
DD will be 26 months. Big bleed and waters broke at 35+6 and she came at 36+1. Placenta previa issues (2 hospital stays at 32 and 34 weeks boring!). Hoping for an uneventful time for this one.
Probably last baby. Will find out gender at scan at 20 weeks.
I've had no scans yet so looking forward to next week!

Bluebell here 13+2 after new dates given at scan last week. EDD 9th Dec.
First baby and will find out gender at 20 week scan as I'm impatient and like to be organised hehe.
Just started buying the odd baby bit as I'm so excited.
Also struggling to sleep (as you'll see from my crazy o'clock posts) and feeling very sick again today randomly.

Currently eating onion ring crisps, drinking dandelion and burdock and laying on the sofa for bargain hunt....wearing DP's joggers.....life is excellent haha x

Ooooooo @glastogal I have my 16 week consultant appt next week too! Gender scan - is that with the NHS? As I'm away for most of next week and we're planning on telling the SC this weekend, I was thinking of booking a private one towards the end of this week but don't know if it's too early to see.

I think it's a boy Carlotta but my DP thinks girl, so one of us will be laughing in the other's face and jeering next week

I know Carley I can hardly believe it myself. The first weeks dragged so much but I'm glad I have had this thread and you ladies to distract me 😀😀

Might be too early but since you will only be days away from 16 weeks you might get lucky exciting telling the SC, bet they will be delighted!!

Next scan should be on the 21/06, but as we're (DH ...) impatient, we'll be having a gender scan on the 17/05.

Had an early scan a few weeks ago and our dating scan on 07 Jun. We're living near wales at the moment but will be hopefully moving up north before baby is born.

Hi all. Lost track of the other thread it goes far too quick for me. I'm 11+ 5 today and my 12 week scan is on Thursday. This will be baby no. 2. My DS is 7 months and will be just under 14 months when this lo arrives.

I am peachi, 34 at the moment but will be 35 when the baby arrives. It's our first child and I am 11+0 today. We're team yellow, because we don't really care and it's gonna be either or (or a spider, but at least I've not been eating dodgy bananas like other people did).

Not had my first scan yet and we didn't go for a private one. NHS scan is Tuesday next week and I'm quite anxious and nervous and hope that there is a healthy baby in me and I don't have a weird, unknown disease that makes me constantly sick.

Carlotta that sounds like a perfect day haha.

No sausage sandwich for me (booo) but I do also have cucumber sticks! And I tried to take cherry toms but they were very squishy and I think there was mould on the bottom so I'm off tomatoes now!

I'm really liking cucumber sticks and hummus at the moment!

Just got my test results back.. lovely low risk for downs/Edwards/patau.. someone has to be the one but we got good chances 🤞 weirdly, there is a different EDD on the results form. Now I'm baffled. It's 4 days later than I was told in the dating scan. Weird.

Hi, I'm 13+6 (my dates) or 14+4 (dating scan dates) today and definitely starting to feel more second trimestery (but with a 20something week bump!). This is my second, dd will be nearly 3 when this one is born.

Didn't find out sex with dd but definitely will at 20 weeks this time. Can't wait!

Baby #3 for us, we have a girl, a boy and I've had 2 mmc's recently, one in August and one in January. Hoping this is it for us!
I'm 12+2, EDD is December 16th although official dating scan is tomorrow, have had 2 positive scans at 7 and 8 weeks so far.
I'm suffering with hyperemesis again this time so have been in hospital and have touch wood hopefully now found meds that work.
