@weasledee cyclizine is absolute shite anyway in my experience. I have HG and there's no choice but to take something. I take ondansetron. It's a horrible position to be in when you're not able to stop being violently sick. I try not to take meds either but I woke up at 5/6ish today and was violently sick for hours, took a cyclizine as it makes me drowsy but threw that up then managed at 2pm to keep down an ondansetron. It's bloody awful. I have never felt so ill in my life!

God thingy, you have it worse than me! I feel horrendously sick all day long, to the point where i can't do anything, even just moving makes me throw up! But you sound worse. How many weeks? I'm 7 but with past pregnancies it's eased off about 14 weeks.... I'm aiming for that!

I'm almost 10 weeks. Been suffering since week 6! It's horrible.

@pickledprogress I'd been doing a slow carb, no added sugars eating plan before becoming pregnant (is my 1st). I'm even a moderator on the Facebook group. Am within normal bmi but was looking after not gaining. Anyway, that all went out the window around 7/8 weeks. I didn't even have bad sickness, I was just suddenly so picky in a way I've never been. It got worse when I was hungry and eventually I just went with it. I felt like a bit of a fraud but even the guy who wrote the book that the diets based on said just eat what works.

That said, now I seem to be out of the sicky phase at 11 weeks (sorry for those still in) it's hard to get back on the train. I'm properly feeling 'I do what I like'. Only gained a couple of pounds from having bread and cake back on the menu.

Oh @Eva30 I'm really sorry to hear that but I echo @Thingymaboob and don't want to give you false hope as I've had an mmc too. By 8 weeks they should see a growing little bean with heartbeat, even if you were wrong on your dates by say a week, they'd still be able to see a growing baby in there. Was it an internal or external scan? I'd be pretty pissed off if I paid for a private scan and they only bothered with external ultrasound.

Makes me happy when I can see something like this and it's not all in my head!

Quick question I've done the date of my last period from the date I started bleeding after having the week off between my pill. Should it have been the first day off or from the bleeding date? I conceived within 3 weeks of stopping the pill so had no period beforehand apart from the pill.

Victoriaaa I woujd go from first day of last bleed but you'll get a better idea after dating scan.

That's what I did lol think I did it right then and yeah really looking forward to that!

Is it bad that I'm scared to have sex? 🙈

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I'm far too scared to have sex too. I had a miscarriage before so I will wait until my 12 week scan and then make a decision

@Thingymaboob my hubby just doesn't understand and gets arsey at me lol

I had a scan at EPU this morning as I've been bleeding. I should be 8/9 weeks but measuring 6/7 with no heartbeat. I've to go back next week to make sure but sadly this is the end for me this time. I've had one MC before but at 17 weeks so this is quite different. We're very sad nut are very lucky to have a beautiful, funny toddler at home.

So sorry for your news sprocket I have been there and understand. I experienced this back in January 17 at 6 weeks.
My EDD is now 7th Jan after a slight scare (bleeding). Saw a heartbeat at 7w 6 days completely scared about 12 week scan scan date 26th June. My bleeding was due to contispation apparently thought i would say in case it helps others.

Sorry I haven't been around much, I find the Facebook much easier to keep track of. How is everyone doing? I am sat on the sofa, trying to not notice the horrible heartburn I'm having. It's way to early for that!

I'm sorry for your loss, flyingsprocket. I've been there, earlier this year, and it's heartbreaking. Take care of yourself There's a thread on MN, TTC after MC, which you might find helpful in future; those women were a life-saver for me when I felt very alone and like no one understood.

Fattycowagain I'm feeling more pregnant this week as I finally have a bump that doesn't go away, even when I'm not bloated/constipated (which is rare enough lol)! I'm exhausted as I had a hen party this Saturday/Sunday morning, then straight to help cater for a huge family event with the in-laws, which lasted until 11 last night, then back to work--no rest for the wicked! 12 week scan is on Friday, so I'm trying to remain really positive...

Victoriaaa perhaps you should mention to DH that there are other fun things to do as a couple that don't involve intercourse...like sorting the recycling or pairing up socks! So satisfying! Seriously though, I'm also freaked out by anything internal until I'm further along, and we're just being a bit more creative
