Hi everyone. Glad you got good news mills.

I've now booked an early scan so just over 2 weeks to wait. Don't think I'll relax until after dating scan though. Hate this between stage not knowing what's goiing on in there.

ION I'm currently on a train to Waterloo and planning to straight to McDonalds for that milkshake I've been craving for 2 days now....

I've got my booking in app tomorrow with the midwife. So I am nervous/excited. Apparently, it is a 40 minute appointment which makes me quite nervous. What should i expect?

Usernamegone I think mine took close to an hour. They ask lots and lots of questions to fill out a form. They'll also take your height, weight and some blood. How many weeks are you now?

I'm thinking of doing early reassurance its £45 near me, cant decide how long to hold out till the scan, i'm thinking week 7 or 8. Time seem to have stood still for me, i'm 5 weeks tomorrow, another 3 weeks would be like an eternity, but i guess if I don't wait long enough I might be to early to see heartbeat and that wudn't be reassuring at all

I'm going to wait till my midwife appointment and ask her about early scans.

I've been following the thread for a long time and have loved hearing everyone's updates, I've just been a bit nervous to post!
We've been ttc #2 for 2 years, and after having a CP in Feb I've been very worried about MC. But each day I'm getting slightly less anxious which feels great.
My EDD is 11th Jan and I'm 6w today

Can I be added to the list please. In due 17th Jan 2018. Got an early scan on Monday. Xxx

Hi everyone, moving over I got my BFP today and ovulation puts my EDD 30th of Jan 2018.

waiting I will be 6+6 tomorrow. I just can't imagine how height/weight/bloods/forms will take 40 mins! Are there loads of forms???

Usernamegone it's more one massive form that asks the medical history of you, your partner, your family, your next door neighbour.......
And prepare for the standard domestic violence questions- they like to ask them a lot.

Usernamegone it's not just forms they go into all kinds of details like previous pregnancies family history bloods and giving you information xxx

Told the in-laws today, and they were pleased of course! I can tell they are worried due to the previous MC--"Now you be careful, don't be doing xyz" but they mean well and the scan with a heartbeat reassured them!

I've not been able to post all day as my phone is playing up. I'm so glad you're ok mills

I'm currently deciding if I want an early scan or not. So many of you seem to be having them and I'm just not sure I can wait much longer! I'm technically 7weeks5 from lmp but due to long cycles think I'm actually only 6 weeks so hard to decide when to book one. Any thought?

Dserendipper I would recommend an early scan if you are anxious before 12 week scan, but not if you aren't. I had one at 8 weeks last time and it was very clear and reassuring. I was really anxious and had convinced myself something was wrong. I think from 8 weeks is when there's a bit more to see on scan and a heart beat will be there.

I've been getting one symptom that does seem a bit like the opposite of normal, in that I'm feeling cold all the time!! I think you're meant to feel hot aren't you?! Anyone else?!
