Hi girls just looking to join (nervously!!)

Got my BFP last week due mid Jan. Had MMC in October last year @ 9 weeks so extremely nervous 😭

I have had kinds of lower abdo crampy pain. Sore boobs and maybe a bit nauseated - can't tell if it's from the nighshifts or tiredness!! Also so glad to hear other people have insomnia !!!!! So usual as I always hear people saying how tired pregnancy makes them and I was getting paranoid 😂 Iv been on for three nightshifts and iv hardly slept a wink!!! Been awful.

I work as a gynae Staff nurse so see so many bad stories etc which is adding to my anxiety!!!!! I can do to EPU for early scan if I wish (consultants in here said it's a perk of the job lol) part of me just wants to string it out until 12 week scan but I don't know if
I can!!!!

My booking in letter says 1.5 hours and from last time actually took that long 😱 I have the notes still though so I'll take them along to hopefully save some time. Although I also have to explain all the meds from miscarriage clinic so that may take some time...quite nervous about the reaction to that as well!!

No early scan for me but have booking in appointment with midwife 30th may.

Also just received a nhs maternity exemption card. I didn't know about this, but we're all now entitled to free prescriptions and dental care till Jan 2019

Serendipper I think it's up to you, but definitely I would wait until at least 8 weeks. If you hear a heartbeat at 8 weeks, your likelihood of miscarriage drops drastically (statistically speaking) so it's very reassuring! Our only local private medical practice only does scans from 8 weeks, and it's £150. The reason so many of us are having early scans is partly because so many of us have had miscarriages previously or difficulties currently, and so our EPUs offer the early scans on the NHS (although not everywhere, some people are paying for sure!)

Work is driving me mental! The children are so demanding and I'm tired, feeling sick and very hormonal, so I anger easily... Not a good combination at all!

I had a MC before DS, plus I'm 37 so not a spring chicken in pregnancy terms. It's all so worrying, every twinge had me running to check my knickers (tmi sorry)

Has anyone else been put on either fragmin or clexaine?? If they have do you have really bad bruising? Xxx

FromHackney I do have the feeling cold thing a lot although I do feel the cold normally so hard to tell if it's actually a symptom or just me!

I'm so nauseous and tired! My productivity is zero. I've started taking Spatone iron supplement today as I have history of anemia in pregnancy.

I went food shopping yesterday and was gagging at all the food. Very relieved that the weekend is almost here so I can have a break from preparing all the meals.

I'm 7 weeks today and feeling like waiting 5 weeks until the scan is torture!! Tempted to do early scan but DH is a bit tight very money conscious

Should have an EDD for the list next Tuesday after the scan - looking forward to seeing a name and date on the list! I've been waiting for that for a LOOOOONG time

How is everyone today?

I felt good yesterday but completely crashed in the evening and ended up in bed at 8.30pm!! Slept all the way through until 7am this morning so hoping my little nugget was on a growth spurt.

Am hungry today, think its going to be one of those "eat every 20 mins" days #standard! :)

My nausea is bad today but no sickness. I just feel really hungover . Thankfully don't work on a Friday.

I feel nauseous today too (but I have only eaten a donut and two brownies so it could also be all the sugar)

Also donuts for breakfast are unusual, I bought them as a post exam treat for my class at school.

@coragreta - I just had a real Homer Simpson reaction to your post "mmmm, hot donuts"......note, I dont really like donuts, maybe that'll be my McDonalds milkshake equivalent??? :)

I now want donuts too! I'm going to get some for me and the kids for after school. Yum!

Had 1st half of booking in app today. In my area they do half in the GP surgery and half at home. Had height, weight, CO test and BP. I have been told to expect a phone call next week to book in for the 'home' part of booking in. 12 week scan booked for 26th June. Am debating wether to have an early scan as 12 weeks scan seems ages away.

Hi Ruthcarr1990, I'm on clexane as I had a pulmonary embolism last year. Yes you do bruise badly- I'm struggling to find a non bruised part of tummy to inject into every day. It also upset my stomach for the first couple of weeks- I had completely the opposite problem to most ladies on here who have been constipated!

Hi Ladies, I think I'm probably out. Heavy cramping yesterday and more cramping with spotting today☹spoken to midwife and she has got me in for a scan at epau tomorrow.

Sorry @Neavesa. Fingers crossed that all will show up ok at the scan.
