Hi all! Thanks for all of the reassurance earlier :)

I took the advice above and stepped away from the sticks and tried not to worry. After going out for lunch with my partner and taking the car for a spin my boobs are reassuringly sore again, yay!

chocolateshortcake · 30/05/2017 19:02

Wow @millsbynight the list is huuuuuuge!!

Fattycowagain · 30/05/2017 21:04

Clearblue digitaal are notorious for getting it wrong!

PurplePoppySeed · 30/05/2017 22:31

What a list! Well done for keeping track! Thanks Mills.
I'm stay away every Tuesday night, got to the hotel tonight and found I can't do up my jeans! I'm going on holiday on Friday - had just assumed I'd be able to squeeze into all my clothes Confused I guess it'll be a bikini and fat belly covered with any dresses I can find all holiday then!

ForumUsername · 30/05/2017 22:39

Hi all
My spotting had seemed to be going the last few days but today there is more

Sorry TMI but it's still brown and mostly only when I wipe
I am getting some mild cramping but it feels more gas/bowel related (again sorry TMI)
I'm getting the odd pain from where my cervix is too

I'm not due to scan again till tomorrow week but don't know if I can wait
Think I'll call them tomorrow to see if I can go in this week
I'll be either 7 weeks today or Friday do you think they'll be able to see enough?

I'm driving myself mad

Thingymaboob · 30/05/2017 23:07

@ForumUsername
I had the same thing last week when I was 7 weeks. I was freaked. I had a private scan booked anyway and went along and saw a 7 week bean with heartbeat. They will be able to see something. My brown discharge lasted for 3 days in total. Am 8 weeks now and touch wood not had any for 6 days. Good luck. Get a scan!

ForumUsername · 30/05/2017 23:16

@Thingymaboob thanks for the reply
My spotting is going on 9 days
(Some days barely any others like today more)
I had a scan last Wednesday and they seen sac with yoke sac but it was too early to see heartbeat. I had thought I was 6+1 (going with LMP) but they dated it more 5+4 which probably lines up with dates better TBH
Told to come back next week (2weeks later)

Don't want to push for an earlier scan if they won't see anything yet
But they should see a heart beat if I'm 7weeks on Friday, right?

Thingymaboob · 31/05/2017 07:32

They saw a heartbeat when I was 6+0 and again at 7+0 a week later. She brought me back as she wanted to check my ovary cyst. You should definitely see heartbeat at 7 weeks. Good luck, it's bloody awful worrying time. When I miscarried last year it started with brown discharge so I've been very anxious / observant this time around. This baby is making themselves feel very at home as I cannot stop vomiting. Let us know how you get on.

Thingymaboob · 31/05/2017 07:34

@ForumUsername I think it's unlikely a miscarriage as it's still brown / old blood after 9 days. Mine was brown spotting for 4/5 days before it turned to red bleeding.

millsbynight · 31/05/2017 07:39

Thanks @Roseandbee ended up having a pear which seems to settle my tummy. I NEVER eat pears usually but find them really refreshing right now. Pregnancy is so weird!

lisabelle · 31/05/2017 07:45

Hiya!
Can I join too please?
I'm 7 +6 although measuring slightly smaller (already had two scans due to bleeding and 6 previous miscarriages so I'm really a wreck this pregnancy)

But all is good so far - seen heartbeat both times and full of symptoms.

Issywizzybelle · 31/05/2017 07:55

Realised I wrote from old username - I'm the same as lisabelle 🙈

coragreta · 31/05/2017 10:40

Just had my booking in appointment was with same midwife as last time so that was nice. Bloods done and now waiting for scan date. Starting to feel very real.

rememberpurpleronnie · 31/05/2017 11:37

Just had my booking in appointment- 2.5hrs!!! I do have a complicated medical history and DS was born with congenital heart disease, but still 2.5hrs!! I've to be consultant led as expected with my first appointment in 2weeks. My 20week scan will be done by a consultant in foetal medicine as DS's condition was missed at 20weeks. Overall I get the impression I'm going to be really well looked after this pregnancy. Hope you all get a similar feeling Smile

rememberpurpleronnie · 31/05/2017 11:40

Lisa belle- everything crossed for you Flowers

itsgoingtoofast · 31/05/2017 11:58

Hope you get to speak to someone today @ForumUsername and get your scan brought forward. Fingers crossed all is fine x

I've had a bit of a rough few days with bleeding, started brown turning to red and back to brown again today. I called for some reassurance on Monday again as it is so worrying to see the red blood, but a lovely midwife assured me that this is all to be expected with the subchorionic hematoma they saw on my scan this week and as it's only moderate in size they wouldn't expect it to have an adverse impact on the outcome. This was so good to hear after speaking to the blunt midwife on Saturday. Feeling reassured but still worried to be honest. Taking it as easy as possible as the more I move the worse it seems to get!

ElleMcElle · 31/05/2017 12:48

Hi all - hope everyone's doing OK. Such a nerve-wracking time!

I was just wondering what sort of questions you are asked at your booking in appt? I would like to go prepared with answers in case there is anything I'd need to ask family about / look up...

Getting a lot of strange cramping (a sort of weird pulling feeling) but no bleeding, so trying to remain optimistic. This is my first pregnancy, so I have no idea what's "normal".

Thanks!

ElleMcElle · 31/05/2017 12:51

Also - nobody knows I'm pregnant (apart from DH) - so I'm now convinced that there are stealth preggo ladies everywhere. Walking down the street, I'm wondering "Is she...? Is she...? Ooh - she's a bit out of breath and ordering decaff - totally preggo!" Have convinced myself that my sis in law is knocked up. She's probably just put on a teeny bit of weight - but I am obsessed! Ha!

ForumUsername · 31/05/2017 13:06

@ElleMcElle I'm convinced a cousins wife is too
We went out for dinner and she was eating rings around her. She would normally be a picker!
I'm sure there's loads of stealth pregnant women around Smile

I rang the hospital and they said wait till next Wednesday, that as long as it's not red and I've no pain it'll be fine till then
They want to leave it as long as possible to see growth etc
She was really nice, I guess I've to be patient Confused

Gemaxo · 31/05/2017 13:13

Ok so I just had my 2nd Vaginal ultrasound! All went well, there is now a feral pole!!

Nurse said though I should of been booked in for next week as I only had a scan 1 week ago and then I would of seen more progression!

So I have been booked in for another scan a week today, that would mean I will of had 3 scans in 3 weeks, is that safe? Will my baby be ok?

Currently no heartbeat as I'm at 5+6 but will see one next week

January 2018 babies - early scans and midwife appointments!
PolkaDotFlamingo · 31/05/2017 13:25

No one is supposed to know I am but I have a very obvious bump so people are starting to find out.

ElleMcElle · 31/05/2017 13:37

@PolkaDotFlamingo - I'm 8 weeks today and have quite a bump coming in too! But I work from home, so it's reasonably easy to keep things under wraps. We have an early reassurance scan on Friday, so if all's well I might start telling family after that...

millsbynight · 31/05/2017 13:39

@ElleMcElle yes I look around at women on the tube or in the shops and I'm like "I wonder if she's pregnant. Does she know I'M pregnant?!" So glad I'm not the only one who plays this game :)

I think the fat phase in between stealth preggo and obvious bump preggo is worse as people just assume you've eaten loads of donuts

I remember I was out one night and was still managing to hide growing fat/bump and some guy hit on me and I said I was 16 weeks pregnant. His face! Hahaha.

I think this time around I'm just going to pin my Baby on Board Badge to my forehead for everyone's sake (probably only makes sense if you live in London).

@Gemaxo No harm to mum or baby I'm getting a scan each week :)

Elle- questions I got asked this morning while it's fresh in my mind-
Tick boxes about health- have you ever suffered from x
Then similar about your immediate family/partner
Lifestyle questions- alcohol/drugs/diet
Domestic violence screening
Details of any previous pregnancies including losses
Have you had chicken pox
Where you and your partner are from- to see if you are at risk of certain diseases such as TB
Health and safety at work
If you've ever been involved with social work/ been to prison

There were more but all along similar lines.

pickledsausage · 31/05/2017 14:28

@elle, just following on from purples post, things you/family may have suffered from include things like heart problems, strokes, blood clots, mental health issues, babies born with problems etc. Worth just doing a quick ask around of you/your partners immediate family.

I've been lurking a bit rather than posting but I had my 9+4 scan today (regular scans as an under care for previous miscarriages) and all is good! my symptoms have been dwindling so have been worried but turns out over nothing!
