Hi Unicorns, I had almost the exactly same type of pain, had a scan a couple of weeks back and after confirming heartbeat etc they spotted a corpus luteum cyst (as per other people's experiences below). I was on clomid which apparently makes them more common, but they can cause pain too. Worth telling a dr just in case and they should refer you to EPU just in case! Mine also got worse when constipated too so you could try prunes/juice/etc too?

PurplePoppySeed · 25/05/2017 20:33

Ps I still haven't worked out how to PM on the app and would like to join the Facebook group if anyone can help? Think my previous plea was missed... Blush

Fattycowagain · 25/05/2017 20:40

Purple, I've send you a message!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 25/05/2017 20:44

Thanks PurplePoppySeed, thats a bit more reassuring. I'd much rather it be a cyst than something that I honestly can't even bare to think about right now! I'll definitely be making an appointment tomorrow (hopefully, they release appointments day-by-day Hmm). I'm glad yours turned out for the better!

Sorry I dont mean to sound like a dramatic psycho or anything.

Thingymaboob · 25/05/2017 20:45

@Fattycowagain I'd like to join Facebook group too. How do I do it please?

PurplePoppySeed · 25/05/2017 20:47

Not at all unicorns, I didn't mention my pain much on this thread at the time but it was pretty severe, if it helps you count down, it's a lot better now I'm at 8 weeks!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 25/05/2017 20:47

I third this

Eva30 · 25/05/2017 21:18

unicorns I've been having the same thing, its hard not to overthink everything. I went on a long walk today and it seemed to set of the pains every now and again.

rose I don't know, I have a scan booked in at 8w so going to try to keep it to ourselves until then I think

Lolly34h · 25/05/2017 21:21

Have sent a message re the Facebook group

flyingbaby · 25/05/2017 21:35

Unicorns - I have been getting something similar. We actually my first 'symptom'. Get it often when I roll over in bed, at Pilate's or go to stand up quickly.
My conclusion is that it's ligament pain. You get super stretchy being pregnant.

Mine is not constant, is not getting worse and is fine if I am not doing anything.... So figure it's just my body doing its shit.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 25/05/2017 21:54

Eva I went for a walk the other day and had a similar thing happen. Maybe it's normal as we're both due the same day.

I didn't really think about it like that flyingbaby. It's not constant. Happens maybe a few times today with today being ramped up a bit. I did have a slight tugging feeling above my belly button last week so I'm thinking that's a good sign? I honestly have no clue.

Serendipper · 25/05/2017 22:15

Is anyone else fed up of the symptoms already! I have had constant nausea, overwhelming exhaustion, I'm living on the verge of tears and i have no idea how I will cope with this for much longer let alone another 8 months!

rememberpurpleronnie · 25/05/2017 22:21

Constant crying at the news here. Doesn't help it has been so awful. Crying on the way home in the car about it though, certainly more emotional than I would be normally....

ElleMcElle · 25/05/2017 22:30

@Serendipper - Yes! Absolutely shattered and struggling with work. I've also had a nasty cold / sore throat thing - so hoping at least some of it is down to that, and it might lift a bit as this cold lifts.

Gemaxo · 25/05/2017 22:38

Hi ladies. Can I join?

BFP 1 week ago, currently 5+4 due date 24th Jan I think.

Had a early scan yesterday due to 2 previous miscarriages, everything looked good, need to have another one on Wednesday to check for a heartbeat, so nervous!!

Is it normal not to have a heartbeat at 5+4? & would we defiantly see one at 6+4?

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 25/05/2017 22:46

I think, going by my app and what I've read previously. A heartbeat may be detectable from 6+ weeks. I think at 5 weeks they're still making it. I'm all up for being proven wrong though! Also welcome :)

Ruthcarr1990 · 25/05/2017 23:03

Any one else not liking this heat? I'm struggling can't get comfy at all. Xxx

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 25/05/2017 23:29

Yes! I have both my bedroom windows open and I'm wondering what the point is when it's still so bloody warm

acquiescence · 26/05/2017 05:59

gemaxo generally the earliest they see a heartbeat is around 6 weeks so hopefully you will be able to see it at your next scan. I had an early scan this week and was less than 6 weeks so going back in 10 days for another to look for heartbeat.

coragreta · 26/05/2017 06:52

I am having very vivid dreams. Last night a midwife was checking the baby's heartbeat while I was on the bus.
I too am exhausted and the heat is not helping.

Rosehyd2 · 26/05/2017 07:26

I had lots of aching week 4, a bit of nausea in the morning at first week 5 but no sickness, but since then no symptoms at all except tiredness. It feels strange not feeling anything else as I keep forgetting it's real!

I have my gp appointment next week, anyone know what will happen there? My local practice said I had to have that appointment before booking in with a midwife.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 26/05/2017 08:07

So someone has just took the time slot I was about to get and now there is nothing for today so I need to try again Monday Sad Now what?!

wapphighwood · 26/05/2017 08:14

Posted the early in the week about a bit of spotting when wiping which stopped quickly and nothing for a couple of days so was feeling more positive. Yesterday evening though I had a bright red gush that has worried me again. It wasn't much, less than an egg cup at a guess. and nothing since. Have decided if anything else today I'll get a docs appointment. Our epu don't do self referral you have to go via gp. Got my booking appointment date for a week on Wednesday, that is self referral

millsbynight · 26/05/2017 08:43

@wapphighwood oh dear how worrying for you! Fingers crossed no more bleeding.

I am loving this heat!! I grew up in a number of hot countries and often question why I'm still here in the UK. My day off today! Just going to laze around in the garden and work on a tan Smile
