Scan all done and I have to say that is one of the most amazing things ever. Baby is measuring 2 days ahead so I'm 12+1 and due Nov 30th (please don't boot me off here!)

Everything including nuchal fold is measuring great and radiographer was very impressed with how cooperative baby was being. Fingers crossed this is a sign of things to come!

Met the registrar who recognised DH from uni but awkwardly he had no idea who she was!! She was lovely though and not concerned about me at the mo, just had to have an extra blood test.

Glad your scan went well angielka. It is such a relief isn't it!

Good luck to all with scans coming up.

Now just have to get through my last afternoon in this job!!

I have my booking appointment this afternoon.
I will probably say that I don't want the nuchal fold measured at my first scan. I wouldn't want any follow up investigation and it wouldn't changey mind about having the baby. Hope this will be accepted.

Peachi do you have your scan booked yet? My midwife asked me if I wanted the screening tests done to fill in the referral form for the scan, so they would know in advance.

No, nothing booked yet. Just seeing the midwife for the first appointment. I received some leaflets and it says on there that I need to decide until this first appointment if I want to test for T21 and the other two.

Ah then hopefully she'll ask you then and there won't be any awkwardness when you're at the scan as they'll already know your wishes.

I have sad news, I miscarried on Tuesday at 10+2 (the day I was meant to have the harmony test). A scan at 9+6 confirmed no heartbeat and baby measured 8 weeks. So it had a heartbeat but then died. As I was in Spain when I found out they gave me the scan photos. I can't remember if I am on the group spreadsheet but my EDD was 10 Dec and my scan was meant to be next Friday (26 May). Wishing everyone healthy and uneventful pregnancies.

Meant to ask - so please can someone remove me from the sheet.

Hello everyone. A 5th thread already! I tried to post numerous times yesterday but MN was having none of it!!

Had 2nd MW appointment yesterday, well it was basically the second half of the booking in appointment. They do it in 2 parts here! Blood tests and urine test, nothing too exciting. I forgot it was an inservice day and school was shut so I had to take my 4yo with me.
"why have you done a pee in a bottle?"
"ewww your blood is disgusting."

My letter for 12w scan came through today, June 6th so not too long to wait and something to concentrate on. I still feel so sick and nervous about it all!
