Seagreen hello! Welcome! My symptoms started easing around 9 weeks and then I'd still get hit like a tonne of bricks with nausea but definitely less often. Currently at 11+ 5 I am crawling into bed at 8pm every night. House is a state!

Mumoftheark good luck in your scan today. We took dd in with us and distracted her with iPad so she had no idea what was even going on but yours are older so that might not work. Let us know how it went.

I'm about 9 weeks with 1st baby at the ripe old age of 39 - eek! Obviously delighted tho a bit shocked

Have my booking appt with midwife on Monday afternoon and waiting for a scan date. Feeling fine no sickness just really tired some days and sore boobs X

Thanks for the comments about the scan. Definitely am on cloud 9! Went out last night for dinner to celebrate the scan, finishing my job and being in our house a year but I felt so sick I didn't really eat anything then went home and fell asleep on the sofa 🙈

My symptoms have been far more on and off the last few weeks. Keep getting my hopes up that they've gone!

Can't wait to see the scan pics rolling in from everyone!

@TipTop333 my 2 year old could be distracted but definitely not the older one. He's so aware it's ridiculous lol. He "knows" I'm pregnant, 2 days before I took my test he's asked me if we could put some magic beans in my tummy it was so out of the blue, and EVERYDAY asks me if they are in there, and says he thinks they are because i have wobbly belly (thanks son lol). If I took him in he would click in a second.

Feeling pretty exhausted today. Got to sleep at 4.45am in the end and the kids were up at 6.30 😭 DH has got up with them but as soon as I hear them I can never go back to sleep. Today is going to be a LONG day!

Thanks all, scans at 10.30 so will let you know how it all is. Groupon still have lots of early scan vouchers for various places. If anyone wants an early scan or even to book at 4D for summer time but cheaper it's worth a look. I got this scan for £39 :)

Good luck today mumoftheark, will be thinking of you. I've also been alone for all of my bad scans previously so know how it feels/really hoping you get a good one today. Do you have any other childcare option so that he could be in with you?

We had our 10 week harmony scan yesterday and all looked ok/measuring a bit ahead at 10w4. I am of course very relieved and happy but after everything I'm still certain something will go wrong so still not in the least excited really. Suspect it will take until 20 weeks.

Annoyingly my husband has decided he doesn't want to know gender "until it's all ok". I made the point that we don't know that until I've actually given birth (and maybe not even then) - I will find out in 2 weeks and cannot keep it a secret until then!! Hopefully he'll come up with something in between. He didn't want to know with our previous pregnancy which led to a TFMR but I thought it was the least I could do to honour her really.

Seagreen I thought I was due 14th December but keep getting dated by MW And Sonographer as 13th so we are EDD buddies! Welcome! I haven't actually been sick but I have felt sick and it comes in waves now, whereas two weeks ago it was more or less constant for a while.

Morning to All! So many people waves, we definitely will need a big baby meet up somewhere when this is all done! I definitely will join the FB group too but will wait til after 12 week scan (which is at 13 weeks for me) annoyingly I'm on a 12 hour the day it is, should be able to swap it though, I work in the same hospital so could easily go to it but I know how anxious/emotional I'll be so really don't want to be working. I'm back in work tomorrow, the early start will be fine as up at that time every morning but I've generally been managing to get back off for a few hours so the lack of that nap will be a shock. Glad to get back in a way though, definitely got a bit of cabin fever going on and I only have 3 days then 2 weeks annual leave with lots of nice plans to keep my brain occupied. Scan today at 1630, utterly terrified of bad news x

Lixon glad the scan went well but can understand you're nervousness given what you've been through. Tough keeping the gender from your husband though! I'm finding it so weird that in a couple of days I'll get an email telling me boy or a girl, along with the harmony results. Will be checking my emails like a crazy thing from Wednesday.

Think I might be nearing a corner on the food front. Yesterday I ate a carrot and some avocado and even felt like salad, albeit slathered in caeser dressing and accompanied by croutons.

Got hair and make up trial and bridesmaid dress up today.. I'm really not looking forward to it as I'm feeling so heavy and lumpy. I have put on well over a stone this trimester and am still really bloated. Feeling really glum about it to be honest.. anyway, still determined to bring on the health for the middle third so I had a breakfast burrito this morning 👍 I like getting some jalapeño in my system bright and early 🔥

@Lixon Great news  FWIW my husband kept insisting he didn't want to know either but I'm adamant I do, and happily he's now jumped on the same bandwagon

@Beardy1 Mine is/was definitely worse in the afternoons and evenings too! Bizarre phrase, that "morning sickness"...

@pauseplayrepeat Persevere! I feel amazing every time I have fresh veg now (like I've been deprived and suddenly revived!) but it does takes me a bit of effort to remember to not just reach for the beige

I'm broken. Just had my scan everything looks well with baby 1, however they are sending me urgently to A&E as it looks like i have a 2nd baby in my tubes. They can't tell without doing an internal scan and they don't do them here so I have to go to hospital. She said I need to go immediately and not wait till I see the midwife on Monday.
So scared. Thank god I didn't wait for my 12 week scan 😭 will keep you updated x

Oh @Mumoftheark hope all goes ok. Randomly was just reading about that exact situation last week!! You are in the right place and I am sure they will sort it all out for you swiftly.

So I'm 10 weeks today. Double figures! (10+2 according to early scans but I'm sticking with my own dates for now)
In my previous 2 pregnancies at 10 weeks I was having surgical management of mc and the one before that my body was already half way through miscarrying so I feel like I've hit a kind of Milestone today! So nervous for 12 week scan🤢 x

Mumoftheark, this sounds terrifying, I hope everything is OK! Thinking about you.

So many things happen in pregnancy, I had no idea they actually exist.

Just having a bowl of fresh strawberries, yummy.

Midwife appointment yesterday went fine and she didn't question that I don't want the test on Downs syndrome. Very relieved.
My scan is on the 13th of June, I'm exactly 12 weeks by then. After the scan I'll see a consultant, because my mum and sisters have blood clotting issues and at least my sister had to use heparin throughout both pregnancies.

Bloody hell mumoftheark that's so scary. Hope you get answers and resolutions soon. Big hugs x
