Lovely bump sugar.

Eek so many people finding out what they're having already, so exciting! We didn't find out with DD but are going to this time. I think another girl but will find out 2 weeks today! Literally can't wait!!

Have a lovely weekend all X

sherbertlemon17 · 24/03/2017 19:39

Lovely bump sugarplum, congratulations Smile

SuziePink · 24/03/2017 19:59

Well, if we're going to post scan photos I'll post mine from yesterday! My son appears to be going for swimming medals, the consultant kept having to retake the stills to get the measurements because he was moving so much, started doing backstroke at one point and playing with his umbilical cord... practising already for the teenage years perhaps! I had an extra scan at 16 weeks because of the high NT measurement but everything looks absolutely fine, saw most of his internal organs, brain, face, and even got to see the four chambers of his heart beating as well as hearing it which was amazing.

Aww suzie take it u found out what baby was yesterday aswell then

SuziePink · 25/03/2017 08:47

I already knew from the NIPT I had a couple of weeks ago but the consultant did say she could see his boy bits at one point!

Corrinax · 25/03/2017 11:02

Hi everyone im in the oct group im 11 weeks but thought it would be a good place to ask how everyone felt around 10 to 12 weeks symptom wise as i still have sore nipples but not tired anymore and the mild cramps i had have stopped at 10 weeks so im starting to panic!!

DontBeBlueBeARainbow · 25/03/2017 11:23

Hi corrinax
My sickness and symptoms really died down around 9 weeks, but at 17 weeks all is fine, just starting to feel baby's kicks.
I know it's an anxious time but every pregnancy is different. You might even be a week further along than you thought. Unless you have a reason to worry (I.e. bleeding) then try not to worry.
Enjoy your pregnancy!

flymo79 · 25/03/2017 22:57

Anyone else not been having sex??? We haven't done it since bfp due to bleed. But now all is well (no bleed) and I'm feeling bad for dh but utterly unsexy, unbothered and just frankly knackered by bedtime...

EssentialHummus · 26/03/2017 07:40

flymo we've had much less sex than usual. Same reasons as you. I thought the second trimester was supposed to sort all this out?!

flymo79 · 26/03/2017 08:37

I might have to get my head in the game Grin it's not like anything will be happening in the third trimester!!!!

LouLou030783 · 26/03/2017 09:22

Flymo I'm the same had 2 bleeds so haven't had any

Travelgeek · 26/03/2017 09:27

flymo, we didn't at all before the 12 week scan. I just felt so rubbish. But since then we have. Not quite as often as before but pretty regularly. But I feel pretty great at the moment. I'm sure your DH understands if you aren't feeling like it. I felt bad for mine in the 1st tri, but he was so understanding. Don't put pressure on yourself about it.

We went to look at prams yesterday! I had done plenty of googling and so there were a couple I wanted to see in real life. Have ended up deciding on (though not yet buying) the mamas and papas ocarro. I went in thinking we would get the mountain buggy urban jungle so it was really valuable to have a good play with it.

Lules · 26/03/2017 09:42

I'm the same flymo. I've just been too sick and tired. Starting to feel better but still haven't. I guess we've fallen out of the habit of it which isn't great.

MrsY87 · 26/03/2017 11:21

I'm the same too, we have once since I got a bfp but hopefully will start to again more once I get over my cold and get some energy back!

flymo79 · 26/03/2017 14:39

I'm wondering if I 'should' for mothers' day, like a little treat or something... But then again I could lie in bed and eat a creme egg and read my book instead!!!!!

StarWish1 · 26/03/2017 17:36

We've also been taking a bit of a break from that Flymo - I do feel guilty but DH is very understanding.
We found out it's a boy on Saturday.
But I've had a bit of spotting this weekend. The scan was fine on Saturday but still really panicking and feeling anxious.

Londonexhile · 26/03/2017 21:38

Flymo we've been avoiding it tbh....had sex 2 days after our 12 week scan which resulted in quite a big bleed which scared the life out of both of us! I think him being covered in blood killed any desire for a while! Went for a scan and apparently was just cervix rubbing.

We've done "everything but" (!) once which was fun, felt like a teenager! And then had actual sex once but I think I was too nervous to relax!

I do miss it though...but I also feel a little bit like a beached whale!

ColdFeetWarmHeart · 26/03/2017 23:28

flymo we haven't stopped but we are definitely having sex a lot less often. No scary bleeds or anything, just me feeling really sick and shattered and just not in the mood a lot of the time. DH and I work opposite hours as well, so we don't have a lot of time alone. By the time I get in from my evening shift i just want to go to sleep!!

Saying that, I would like it if he made a little more of an effort / seemed like he actually wanted to. I'm feeling very unsexy and insecure at the moment. As in convincing myself he doesn't really love me........I was a bit like this last pregnancy too. I lost count of the amount of times I burst into tears because I was so sure that as soon as the baby was born he'd leave me, and take the baby with him.
God knows what hormones are responsible for these irrational thoughts but they are f*cking with my head!!!! Only 26weeks to go.....

oliversmummy26 · 27/03/2017 10:19

flymo we are definitely having less sex and dh is starting to struggle I think. We had some scary bleeds before 12 weeks which were probably sex related, so stopped until our scan. Are probably averaging twice per week at the moment, which is way less than usual, we used to be 5+ per week! Poor DH has been waiting and waiting for me to start feeling horny, but I'm just so tired all the time and I think my nausea is back. Feeling really bloated and full of indigestion most days Sad

travel I've pre-ordered the ocarro, have a look on pramcentre.co.uk they had it for a really good price as a bundle and I've paid a deposit, and paying the balance between now and august. I was also looking at the mountain buggy!

We found out we're having a boy yesterday! I can't believe it, I was convinced this was going to be a girl. DH has two sisters and a brother and between them they have 5 girls, no boys at all! It's good though, as now I'm looking forward to going through all DS's old clothes and getting out his gorgeous little outfits I didn't think we'd be using again Smile

oliversmummy26 · 27/03/2017 10:28

As it was Mother's Day they let us have a free 4D colour photo Smile

DontBeBlueBeARainbow · 27/03/2017 10:52

DTD wise I'm struggling with tiredness after the bedtime routine, which involves sitting on DS's bed and takes over an hour, plus very low sex drive. Unfortunately DH struggles to be understanding, so it's the subject of bickering.

I had another fight with MiL yesterday, this time over text. My pregnancy hormones give me rage and I can't seem to let things go easily now...she called me an incompetent mother, which although surely not true, I'm struggling with a lot and we might have to change the (life)plan... just how can I let someone who thinks that take care of my children and be so close to me. I need to be far away from that kind of negative influence.

Otherwise everything is good and I'm just lay in bed enjoying baby's tiny kicks, and everything is good again Smile

SayItIsntSo1 · 27/03/2017 12:15

Hi. Long time lurking, but finally feeling confident enough to join. We had a MMC last August at 13wks ish so I didn't want to 'jinx' things as daft as I know that is.

I'm due the 25th of Sept with a baby boy. We found out the sex early as a (happy) bi-product of the harmony test.

flymo79 · 27/03/2017 12:30

Olivers gorgeous scan pic!
Dontbe that is MEGA shit. You definitely need to remove mil from the equation
Sayit welcome! So sorry for your loss but very best of luck for this pregnancy xxxx

StarWish1 · 27/03/2017 13:01

Hi Say I recognise you from the pregnancy after mc thread I've been lurking on Grin
Lovely pic olivers
So this is a question for all you non-first timers...I'm feeling a bit heavier in my belly tonight and like there's a gentle pull down. After my spotting at the weekend this is worrying me. Is this normal at nearly 18 weeks (just baby growing and getting heavier)?

StarWish1 · 27/03/2017 13:02
