Here's a link to the last thread and photo updates just incase anyone's looking for anything!

Thread 9

Photo Page - Bump Update

I don't have access to a desktop right now though so can't post the link to the GoogleDrive spreadsheet, but it's a few posts down in the previous thread!

Happy chatting!

Who are the clever thread naming ladies? Thread 11 lined up for the weekend?? Wink

MrsJW15 · 24/03/2017 11:25

Lullaby me too! Was hoping it was a scandi one that we'd missed. Currently watching Designated Survivor with DH but need something new.

Newbie I'm planning to join tonight, but I'll probably be there closer to 6.30. The tube is always chaos on a Friday night.

RasperryInAMelon · 24/03/2017 11:33

Are you off anywhere nice @EsmesBees ?

@Adventuregame like everyone else has said, fed is best! You know you're doing what you have do for your own health to be able to look after LO long term

@Barnes79 hooray! 🎉🎊

@Brightsmoke too cute! 🐶

@Badgerbird I need to catch up on a couple of episodes of Catastrophe! Has anyone gotten into 'This is Us' on E4? Very sweet show

Well spotted @lullaby23 @Adventuregame and @coxsorangepippin have been witty with their suggestions... anyone else?

It surely feels like "the final countdown", can't believe we'll make it much longer without an early arrival :) Then again we go through these threads pretty fast :D

Barnes79 · 24/03/2017 11:56

For all of you who like west wing etc, have you tried Madam Secretary? Love it!

FoxMulder · 24/03/2017 12:06

Someone is bound to have a baby on the next thread. Bound to! I could do with some kind of Kegels reminder in the next thread title!

You guys do stay up late. I'm in bed by 8.30pm latest.

@nursebickeypegs 4lbs at 30 weeks sounds about right? I had a scan the other day at 32wks, estimated weight 4lbs6oz, and that is bang on the middle line on my growth chart.

Teaspoon74 · 24/03/2017 12:09

Thanks Barnes - saw the trails for that but missed it!

Sorry again for typo - bloody autocorrect! Even worse as I proof for a living (ish)! Xx

Teaspoon74 · 24/03/2017 12:11

The thread name - how's about:

"time for the the last push - squeee... (ze)"

EsmesBees · 24/03/2017 12:27

We are off to a spa hotel raspberry. I never got the appeal of lying by a pool with a book til I had kids!

Fox was it you with the low placenta? Has it moved yet?

Can't believe we are almost on thread 11!

FoxMulder · 24/03/2017 12:33

Yes it was Esme and yes it has! GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

EsmesBees · 24/03/2017 12:49

Great news fox.

RedBlu · 24/03/2017 15:33

I cannot remember who asked but the medication I was prescribed is Dihydrocodeine, but I am not really keen on taking it so have only taken it when the pain has been really bad as despite what the doctor said, it clearly states not to use when pregnant....

I am planning on going back to work next week and just hoping the pain doesn't suddenly intensify again. I have mentioned to my boss I don't think I will make it to 38 weeks and that I might leave a week earlier, which he is supportive of but it just isn't what I planned so am a bit annoyed as it means either using another weeks holiday at the end of having another week on crappy SMP.

PeachIcedT · 24/03/2017 15:47

RedBlu the majority of medication prescribed during pregnancy has a warning in the leaflet not to take if pregnant, as it is not licensed for this and there is limited evidence on its safety - the prescriber has to assess to risk v benefit when deciding to issue this drug as options are limited when conventional painkillers don't touch the pain. I think taking it only for the strong pain is very sensible though. Hope it improves for you soon.

PeachIcedT · 24/03/2017 16:13

Well I thought I'd do something productive with my day off and at least make the next thread as this is quickly going to fill up - is there a chance the first birth could happen in the next thread?

ShiniBerry · 24/03/2017 21:12

34 weeks today and having lots of back cramps and painful (Braxton Hicks?) contractions. Getting worried LO is going to make an early appearance! He's been measuring 2 weeks ahead so we might be meeting him in 4 weeks instead of 6-or sooner!!!

Does anyone have really sore boobs? Mine have been aching for a few days now, like the inner part and tops :-/

Happy Mother's day weekend! Is anyone celebrating? Not sure if we are going to do anything, would it be jinxing it to celebrate?

Tickyboovicki · 24/03/2017 22:05
