Spin lol @ chief thread starter . I wasn't the one that started this thread but I was one of the original joiners right at the beginning so continued to keep tally of new joiners and started the subsequent ones.

However, I have been terrible at it this time round that I have not kept tally of new joiners on 'Thread #4'. I will start the new thread and can new joiners please slot their names to the list (if they wish) at their EDD? You just need to copy and paste the whole list add your details and post.

@Notyetthere we basically spent less than we could have. I was only on about £18k at the time and we based our affordability on that at Black Friday rates.

Luckily the area we are in isn't hugely expensive but a lot of properties have been developed that have bumped the local prices.

DH has thrown lots back into the house as well.

We don't go without much but we are very careful :)

We were planning to be mortgage free before 45 but decided on 2 kiddies instead so given childcare costs egg will prob push us back to being 50 by the time it's paid off at this rate.
My only regret is that I could have been overpaying by £500 a month seen as I now pay £670 in childcare we clearly had the extra cash.

For anyone that already has a little one I would highly recommend the book "there's a House inside my mummy".
My 2 year old loves it, along with "Pirate Pete I'm a new big brother"
Someone recommended to me and they are great.
