sparklygothkat · 30/05/2007 10:41

My sister has just phoned me, she is having a little girl..

MrsJetson · 30/05/2007 11:08

So misdee is your sister? so is she expecting a girl or is that another sister? ....congrats on having a niece!!

sparklygothkat · 30/05/2007 12:23

misdee is my sister, Lisad123 is also my sister and is having a girl Misdee has 3 girls, I have 2 girls (and a boy) and Lisad has 1 girl atm I hope this is a boy so DS isn;t the only boy in the family

Pixiefish · 30/05/2007 12:49

No kicks or flutterings although i know Bubba is kicking away happily on the scan yesterday.

I was 5 days late with dd

choudru · 30/05/2007 14:20

Ooh - forgot to say that I started to feel flutterings on friday. Which made me 17 weeks. Really does remind you that there is a real little baby in there - wriggling around

Sparkly - I could disappear off early with you too. DS was born at 31 weeks so they have no idea what will happen this time. Because my pregnancy was normal up until my water's broke at 30 weeks, they see no point in monitoring me before then.

Plus you and I are both due very early in November so my money's on one of us.

I hope both of us prove me wrong and we last the 9 months - don't want to go through all that anguish again.

I will be delighted if I get to 36 weeks, God Willing!

choudru · 30/05/2007 14:23

P.S. Trauma - BB8 starts tonight. What am I going to do? I start falling asleep at 9pm and that is when it will be on every night!

It's sad I know but BB6 got me through many a late night up feeding DS when he was a newborn so I associate it with pregnancy and babies!

choudru · 30/05/2007 14:26

P.P.S. Sparkly - I'm sure this has already crossed your mind as well but was thinking the other day - if this baby does arrive as early as our previous babies did, we're already over half way!

Kind of scary, but kind of encouraging in a weird way.

choudru · 30/05/2007 15:15

P.P.P.S. Was lurking around the October thread since I am kind of borderline and found this Chinese Calendar

According to this, I'm having a boy ARGHHHHH!

choudru · 30/05/2007 15:18

Actually I'm completely barking - read the wrong month - it's a girl

Do quite want a girl actually but will have to wait till the 19th of June to find out.

Nbg · 30/05/2007 15:23

Hi everyone

Just thought I would stick my head in breifly since my date has changed to the 28th November.
I dont think for a minute baby will come then but you never know

I just pinched that chinese calender for the dec thread too lol.
FWIW, it was correct for my last 2 pregnancies!

sparklygothkat · 30/05/2007 16:18

lol I did say to DH last week I could be halfway through

MrsJetson · 30/05/2007 17:29

According to the calendar it's a girl!

Pixiefish · 30/05/2007 17:50

According to the calendar this one's a girl as well. We'll see

sparklygothkat · 30/05/2007 19:01

according to that calender I am having a girl.

RGPargy · 30/05/2007 20:07

According to the calendar i'm having a boy!! Get in!!!

MrsJetson · 31/05/2007 10:09

I'm bored. I have too much to do.

DH bought a yummy Chinese takeaway, bottle of Chanpagne and a really good movie.

I looked at the food - ate the soup adn 2 prawn crackers, drank half a glass of champagne and fell asleep during the movie.

Woken up feeling rotten - as if flu is on the way. Oh dear..

HollyGoHeavily · 31/05/2007 10:44

Well according to that i'm having a little girl. I thought I didn't mind which I had but that has made me strangely happy .

I can't wait for my 20 week scan (4 weeks to go!)

Pixiefish · 31/05/2007 11:11

Oh MrsJetson- hope it's not flu- nothing worse than flu and being pg.

Dd has gone to my mum's today so that I can rest. was haing a lovely sleep now and flippin h has just phoned- note the absence of d before the h

GermanGal · 31/05/2007 15:46

ooohhh I love these calenders.... according to the calender I'm having a girl - which means I'll be having a girl with a willy (which was very much visible at 12 week scan)

MrsJ - hope it's not the flu, I had it for the last week and a half and I've felt absolutely rotten.... didn't help that we had 35 degree heat outside and I had to eat soup and drink tea....yuuuuck...

sparklygothkat · 31/05/2007 17:36

My bump doesn't seem to have grown any in the last few weeks, at my checkup last week the mw said my womb is growing ok. I have always had small bumps though

choudru · 01/06/2007 14:12

18 weeks today

There seems to be a lot of girls so far.

We're having a nice chilled out day chez choudru. DS is eating fish fingers and potato smiley faces. Hope Jamie Oliver isn't reading this

Just looking on internet for interesting places to go in Leeds since the weather is going to be quite nice. It's the first weekend when I've felt like I can make the most of it.

Ladies - we're getting there now.

How's about a roll call of 5 month scan dates to make them seem closer?

Choudru - due 2nd Nov, scan 19th June

choudru · 01/06/2007 14:14

Sparkly - you must have pretty toned abdomenal muscles. My abs gave up the fight weeks ago!

MrsJetson · 01/06/2007 15:43

I don't think that I want to talk to Sparkly anymore .

Choudru - glad you're well on the way!

On my first 11 week scan they said 7 Nov because of the size. Now they are saying they will use LMP which makes me Nov 10th! . That means I am 17 wks tomorrow - those 3 days make a difference you know!

Choudru - due 2nd Nov, scan 19th June
MrsJ - due 10 Nov, scan 22 June

Crikey, nearly put my real name down there!!

DH informed me last night that despite being pg 4 times, this is my very first antenatal group!!! So nice to be sharing it with a group as friendly as you are....

Pixiefish · 01/06/2007 18:17

Just a quickie. No results for me today

Being redone on Monday apparently.

sparklygothkat · 01/06/2007 19:32

Pleae talk to me!!
I remember when about 34 weeks with DS , who was breech, while in hospital a midwife came to see me with a student, who needed to feel a breech baby. MW turned to him and say 'luckily for us, SGK has very good stomach muscles and a small bump, therefore we can feel the baby very well'

I will have to take a pic of my bump and post it, its very compact but it feels tight.
