Morning...............

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Lwatkins · 02/03/2007 19:47

Will have May as the middle name I think, have been kind of decided on that from the moment I found out I was up the duff!!!

LupinsBigLump · 02/03/2007 19:48

LW ypu could have one as a second name

Mrsjaffabiffa · 02/03/2007 19:52

I have a neice called Charlotte, she is known as Lottie. It's lovely. I'm struggling with girs names. We like Charlie or Henri for a boy, but I can't decide on a girls name. We did like Emélie for a girl but I'm not convinced.

Lwatkins · 02/03/2007 19:54

I don't think the 2 names flow together very well otherwise I would have one as a middle name. Charlotte Isla/Isla Charlotte, doesn't sound right to me. I'm such a fussy mer! Right what to have for dinner: Chicken curry and rice or sweet and sour chicken with rice? Opinions please

Mrsjaffabiffa · 02/03/2007 19:56

Ohhhhhhhh thats a trick one!! i'd have to have chips and rice if I had the curry. lol

Mrsjaffabiffa · 02/03/2007 20:02

OK, sussed it it's notsolilkel between May and June. DOH, sorry again AM

Lwatkins · 02/03/2007 20:03

Oh MJB you have to throw chips into the equation you naughty woman - ooooo decisions decisions! Might do sweet and sour as it's easier and quicker to make!

Pebblemum · 02/03/2007 22:24

Evening all, its still all going on next door. There have been police going in and out all night, and by the looks of it there are at least 4 still in there even though all the cars have gone. The house is in total darkness so it looks as though they are lying in wait. OOh its better than tv We know that there definately were drugs in there and the way the police are acting makes it seem as though it was more than just a few plants but we are still not sure if there was really a dead body or not and when my neighbour asked a policeman just now all he would say was that he could not comment on that so we will just have to wait and see.

Ive had my neighbour round here since 6pm, she has only just left otherwise i think she would have camped out for the night in case we missed anything (her house is directly next door to it all so she cant see anything whereas mine is on the corner so you can see all the comings and goings lol). I know I shouldnt be so nosey but hey how often does something like this happen next door Its stopped me spending money online anyway (and stuffing my face), we've been so busy being nosey ive hardly sat at the pc and have only ventured into the kitchen once or twice in case i missed anything May have to sleep with the window open tonight so i can hear if anything happens lol

MKG · 02/03/2007 22:29

Hey all, hope everyone is doing great.

Well got my 3rd trimester bloodwork at my appointment yesterday, back and I am in perfect health. I've put on more weight than I should have but other than that my numbers are normal. It was just a quick shot in the ass, but I feel cool because I have a special ID card to present at the hospital with the date and lot # of my Rhogam shot. I feel very official.

My sister offered to sell me her stroller for $80. So it's either wait until baby shower, to see if it's given, or pay for it. It's the one that I want, but need to figure it out.

Ds is a terror now. He's sooo cute, but is such a trouble maker.
My mom is dying to know the name of this baby and is threatening me with so much stuff, but I'm sticking to my "know one finds out until the birth" policy.

Pebblemum · 02/03/2007 22:51

Hi MKG, glad the bloodwork was ok, ive got mine next wednesday and im dreading it, i hate needles. Add to that the fact they can never find my veins so end up poking and prodding me for ages before resorting to either the back of my habd or side of wrist (both of which are bloody painful)and you can guess how excited i am by the prospect of more blood tests

What are the chances of you being given the stroller at your baby shower, if they are quite high i would hold off on buying it. Why pay $80 if you can get it for free but then again if you arent sure if oyu would get given it then pay for it now. At least then you have the stroller you wanted and you will get something else at your shower

If i had any idea of what we were calling this baby I dont think i could keep it secret so hats off to you if you manage it. Ive not thought too much about it in the hope of finding out the sex at my next scan but so far anything i have mentioned has got the thumbs down from dh. He still wants to call the LO Trinidy if its a girl (aka the Matrix) but he knows i hate it and that it would be a cold day in hell before i let him put it on the birth certificate He also still likes the name Deacon which was our 2nd choice for ds2, that also came from a film, Blade i think (a character played by Stephen Dorff)Oh well i guess I still have a while to go yet for us to decide

MKG · 02/03/2007 22:58

Pebble, It's actually fun to keep it a secret, because I like torturing my friends and family. It's fun, but my mom and sister have decided that I am giving some god-aweful name, I just think it's fun to not let them know.

Besides this is the boring part of pregnancy when we just wait for the birth, I need some form of entertainment, and playing with people is the best one I have right now. If I had more money I would go shopping, but oh well.

lillaura · 03/03/2007 08:48

largeginandtonic · 03/03/2007 10:17

Morning allhope you are all having lazysaturday mornings. DD and DS #3 took their crereal upstairs to the front room this morning Cue mini mutiny from the twins "why do they get to eat cereal watchin tv", "They are not allowed" i yelled charging downstairs to see the debris.......Anyway peace restored, milk cleaned up, children relegated to the stairs.

DH cooking me huge fried brekkie, black pudding, hash browns, pancakes....mmmmmmm I ate 4 KK's yesterday, custard filled choc topped, cream filled choc topped *2 and a choc cake ring one. Am massivekkbiffa, may have to change name

SKYTV i got my tape yesterday, thank you soooooo much. I plan to have huge 'scare the pants off me' session with dh this afternoon. I really hope he doesnt have to delver this baby, it may scar him for life. I already have him lined up for perineum massage later in the prg to try and avoid the dreaded stitches i end up with every time. Poor man.

We have a few names on our list now, dh veetoed lots of my fave ones.

Xavier, Monty, Tate, Dorian (fave), Miles\Milo and Beau, Atticus and Rupert are for middle names only. Bit whacky but not too bonkers.

Love Arlen, think it goes nicely with Willow too. Love Willow, imagine twins called Hazel and Willow.....soooo cute.

Right am off to attempt online shop, wish me luck

lillaura · 03/03/2007 11:09

my tummy really aching again - my mum coming over today so hopefuly she wont be too late and can watch dd and ds while i have a float about in the bath

LupinsBigLump · 03/03/2007 11:30

I have had the dog collected for a walk today - how lazy am I!!, my friend is a dog walker and every now and then it is well worth the £6 to be shot of him for the day, he enjoys it too - she said she might even have him overnight, dont get me wrong I do love him, but he does have mental problems and can be a royal pain in the a**e

LGT I like you choices for names, only one not to keen on is milo - too tweenies!, have you got a good recipe for some sort os coconut cake cake, am looking forward to getting to oracle on monday and tasting one of these KK's - choc and custard sounds lovely

Lillaura have a lovely float about in the tub, hope your tummy feels better for it

I have found some nice furniture this morning - well not nice nice but practical so I can start clearing some clutter up - well hiding it

Am off to post office as I have to pack my ebay parcels and have no sellotape

Have a good day all

lillaura · 03/03/2007 11:45

Mrsjaffabiffa · 03/03/2007 11:47

Jl and AM, Thank you sooooooo much for your parcels, they arrived this morning. I will return you something yummy and French when you would like it. xxx

Mrsjaffabiffa · 03/03/2007 11:51

Enjoy your tape watching this afternoon. Poor N, I feel a bit sorry for him, but probably good preparation. I hope he doesn't have to deliver your bub too.

It's Sunny today after a whole week of heavy rain, the river close to home has burst it's banks, so the sun is very welcome. Kids enjoying the garden, so hopefully they will tire themselves out.

Have a good day all.

Lilaura hope your pains subside soon!
