14+2 today. Crap night sleep for me too.
I woke up at 2:30 desperate for a wee, got up in the cold all for a tiny trickle!!
Then couldn't get back to sleep until about an hour before my alarm.

Great news about healthy scans ginger nut/iwade/mawita and good luck to those with scans over the next few days x

Lucibee which colour did you go for? I'm thinking of buying a grey travel system but I haven't quite decided which one

I went for the silver chassis with black. I thought it won't show dirty marks etc! And can make it look pretty with colored blankets etc. they have very limited colours...

12 weeks 5 days- due date moved to 15th July. Baby announced itself on screen at first in the 'paint me like your French girls' pose. Then moved on to full Zoolander hand under chin posing. There was also a lot of arm flapping that I take to be jazz hands. I think I may be carrying Alan Carr.

Little jay- I have a little bump now- have had to admit defeat and go into maternity jeans!

By the way, of anyone is having the buying a zillion different maternity jeans from different places and returning them all nightmare- I have found that the Next black over bump skinnies (£26 ones) and the Topshop Leigh over bump mid blue skinnies (£40 ones) are the best I've found. I'm a 10 normally, got 12 from both of these and they fit with plenty of room for expansion.
(New Look was a nightmare fit and fabric wise on all 4 types I tried, H&M only fit if you are v tall with gazelle thin legs, Asda were awful cut, Next blue had awful orange stitching, Red Herring looked like they were for nannas)

Haha thanks for the heads up on the jeans Betty! I need to get some and was going to order from new look, but maybe I won't!

Really need to get some work bits as nothing fits me now. Where does work dresses etc that don't cost a bomb?

I've found good work stuff at Vertbaudet, if your work isn't suit-smart.

Luci- the New Look fit was really weird. I'm a pretty big standard kind of shape and don't struggle normally- these were loose on bum and yet not much room on hips for any growth- the black were that fabric that picks up bits within minutes, the couple of different blues I found either really hard, weird fabrics or really thin, over stretch fabric that showed knee caps through!!

*bog standard even!!

I do have an ever expanding bottom though so I may be alright. There is nowhere local that actually stocks maternity wear that I could try before I buy

Daisy- it's awful isn't it! I hate not being able to even see things let alone try on! Massive gap in the market- really don't understand why so few shops stock any maternity, and if they do only one or two little rails!

We do have a h&m but I checked last week and the maternity clothes they did have were like horrid sale items that no one ever wanted but still full price iykwim

Now thinking I have to tell work soon but not sure if to do it after my performance review or at the performance review. I have a new boss who I am sure will sideline me, on key decisions once she knows. Has anyone announced at work yet?

I announced at work when it became very obvious with morning sickness.

I am lucky that my company is family run by a husband and wife with young children and are very understanding and interested.

I am very unsure what maternity I am entitled to so need some advice really!

Mawita- firstly, congratulations on being slim enough for H&M jeans- am so jealous as they looked really nice denim!
On a more serious note- I know that it is technically illegal to be penalised for pregnancy and that the right advice is for you to tell your boss when you are ready and not base decision around reviews. However, i wish I hadn't had to tell my boss as early as I did (I have a chronic health condition that pregnancy had some nasty effects on) as ever since I have I have been sidelined, ignored and generally disregarded/treated like im a bit of a villain really as have had to have time off. When is your review? You only have to tell work 15 weeks before due date- so technically you have ages before you have to say/are showing too much not to.

(I know people are going to disagree with me saying this- am just giving you my personal experience)

Ginger my scans were like that too - I didn't bother posting mine. Only one that wasn't a total blur it had its hand in front of its face and looked like it had a giant nose!!

Betty - That sounds horrible!

Can HR not do something or are they acting the same?!
