I went on to the little person icon up the top then went to my inbox, from there you can 'add message' and paste kitkat's username

You can also click the 'message poster' link in the blue bar above each persons' posts.

Oh yes, or there's the easy, uncomplicated way kitkat suggested that I didn't know about

I haven't got the mumsnet app I open it with chrome on my phone (it makes its mobile friendly though) there's 3 little dots at the bottom of each post, if you click those it's gives you an option to 'pm user'
