Oh no what an awful week Love. Did they take much from your car?

Upyourdaisy · 15/02/2017 12:25

Oh love what utter bastards! Honestly I can't believe some people Angry
I really hope both of your littleloves are better soon & that the vaccinations don't cause too many problems.

Bought Romy an adorable hungry caterpillar outfit, dh was perplexed, apparently he has no idea who the very hungry caterpillar is Shock
Here's the little hat (the outfit is still a bit big)

Lovewatchingrainfall · 15/02/2017 16:48

Romy you are such a cutie. I love the hat.

They took my sat nav, a bag of baby clothes that I had just been given, a few baby toys and my coat which had some money in. So other then the money and sat nav nothing of great value to them just a pain in the arse for me.

KitKat1985 · 15/02/2017 19:51

What complete gits Love. How are your DDs doing?

Loving the hat Daisy.

duxb · 17/02/2017 11:59

Oh love that's bloody awful.

I can't believe how quickly the time is going. My daughter is 10 weeks old today, absolutely terrifying and amazing all at once.

Hope you are all well.

Upyourdaisy · 19/02/2017 16:23

How's everyone doing? I'm sat here trying not to have a go at my oh's 12 year old sister (who's here, a-bloody-gain) she's being so nasty to my 2year old, hitting toys out of her hands and raising her voice so she cries. Little witch Angry

Lovewatchingrainfall · 19/02/2017 16:32

Oh no daisy that sounds awful. Why is she doing it??

Upyourdaisy · 19/02/2017 16:43

Well basically she's a horrible little spoiled brat. Gosh I know that sounds mean, but she's got form. A couple of years ago she pushed Dd2 down the stairs (breaking dd1's tablet) Mil didn't get the seriousness of it and joked "oh dd don't get near any electrical items while you're there anymore" completely missing the point she could have seriously hurt my dd. My oh said he'd tell her she's not welcome until she stops being that way, but her runs his business from her yard and she'd make it difficult for him if we didn't "play ball" (basically have her dd a lot)

Upyourdaisy · 19/02/2017 16:44

*he runs his business

Lovewatchingrainfall · 19/02/2017 18:47

Oh daisy that's awful. Sounds so hard for you.

Lovewatchingrainfall · 19/02/2017 18:48

Mil does not sound like a great person either.

Upyourdaisy · 19/02/2017 18:54

Unfortunately she's the only support we have, and any time I ask for (a tiny) bit of help, she expects us to bend over backwards. Her dd even stayed the night Romy was born after I got home from hospital at 2pm, last week when I had the placenta scare she hinted on the way home from hospital about her staying again that night, I just completely ignored that one though 😁

KitKat1985 · 19/02/2017 21:13

Oh Daisy that sounds hard. Sad

Upyourdaisy · 20/02/2017 11:31

Romy's a tough one to please but I got her first proper little chuckle. It was beautiful 😊

KitKat1985 · 20/02/2017 13:35

Ahh Daisy! Smile I'm a bit jealous of that Daisy. Baby KitKat smiles but hasn't giggled yet.

Excitingly I've managed to get baby KitKat to settle to sleep the past two nights by putting her down sleepy with white noise playing. Really going to try and stick with this as it's so much less frustrating than spending hours trying to settle her to sleep after a feed. Not sure what she's going to think of tonight though as it's her first night in her cot tonight (her cot-bed mattress arrived this morning). I'm pretty hopeful as she likes to stretch out so I think she might like it. She's 15 weeks tomorrow and getting pretty cramped in her moses basket now.

Babydreaming · 21/02/2017 18:00

Hey girls,

I'm still having lots of trouble with my little one! I've given in to daytime naps all being on me but now im having feeding issues!! He has become really fussy on both breast and bottle. He can take about 60ml before he screams like he's in pain. He's been dropping centiles and has gone from 35th centile at 1 month to 9th centile now! It's so upsetting as feeding should be such a basic and easy thing! He's on reflux meds but they don't seem to have made a difference and I'm now having to exclude dairy and he has a hypoallergenic formula as Drs think it might be a cows milk allergy. I'm not sure what it is but know something's not right.

How can I get him to take more milk?! I don't want to force it down him as he screams in what looks like pain. I burp him regularly and he stays upright in the sling all day!

Lovewatchingrainfall · 21/02/2017 22:18

Aww dreaming that sounds awful. What meds is baby on? And it can take 48hours for the milk to be totally out of the system. What formula is baby on? Have you tried feeding little but often? Or even dreaming feeding?
Hope things get better for you soon.

How are you today Daisy?

Kitkat how was the first night in the cot?

Upyourdaisy · 22/02/2017 03:46

I hope you get to the bottom of what's troubling your little boy soon dreaming

Thank you for asking love 😊 how are you and babylove?
Was worried baby had a uti, her nappies smelled awful yesterday (like dd3's a few weeks back when she had the uti) and she was really unsettled, but I'm inclined to think it's the gel in her nappy reacting with her wee, won't be buying pampers again though, they're definitely not worth paying the extra for.

In a cot already kitkat?!! Can I ask how your lo was after the 12 week vaccinations? Are they as bad as the 8 week?

OrianaBanana · 22/02/2017 15:46

Just a thought Babydreaming, he doesn't have thrush does he? Sympathy, sounds awful x

Babydreaming · 22/02/2017 16:56

So we got to the bottom of why he wasn't feeding and it's been extremely stressful!

Last night he was so hot like a radiator and had a temperature so I took him into hospital

He was admitted and given iv antibiotics and fluids, turns out he had urosepsis!!

So much for GP diagnosis of urosepsis!!!

Babydreaming · 22/02/2017 16:57

I mean GP diagnosis of cows milk allergy!! Sorry..sleep deprived!!

Upyourdaisy · 22/02/2017 17:02

Oh my God dreaming is he ok? Are you home now? Wishing a speedy recovery to him! X

Babydreaming · 22/02/2017 17:03

No...he needs 5 days iv antibiotics as he was really unwell. Looks like we will be in hospital for a while! :(

Upyourdaisy · 22/02/2017 17:05

Jesus. Well bloody done for going with your gut. Amazing mummy!

Upyourdaisy · 22/02/2017 17:14

Do they know if it was from a uti infection that they didn't pick up on? You poor things!
