Yes anyone who wants to join the facebook group please PM me!

Yep still have the skin of a 13yo and I thought the saying was "girls steal your looks". Heard someone older say that anyway!

Even tho I had a scan at 7+4, I'm still worrying about Tuesday (seems a lot of us have scans then!).

I don't have a feeling either way if girl or not but if pushed would say I can only see me having boys. My two boys keep telling me it a "girl baba" though.

I ordered the steriliser too, it came the next day!!! Great bargain and my first buy xx

Mimi apparently when expecting twins you need to drink a lot more, you need extra for two lots of amniotic fluid, the thirst is your body telling you that you need it. I too have been parched - even waking in the night to drink like I downed a bottle of vodka before bed!

Good luck to those with scans and try not to worry, easier said than done, I was a wreck!!

Congrats on the girl beans xxx

Xmas tree?? No! I havnt even bought any gifts!!

I'm feeling ok, little tummy discomfort, headaches and extreme thirst but all in all feel loads better than a few weeks ago!

Good luck for those having scans today! I to have had weird twinges but am sure it's far too early to feel movements so I'm assuming it's just organs moving around.

We hadn't announced on facebook, then yesterday one of my mothers friends decided it was a good idea to write a congratulations message on my wall - out for lunch so didn't see it for a few hours. At which point when we did we realised prob best to announce rather than ignoring people's questions. The mothers friend was only being nice and I'm sure just doesn't get facebook / pregnancy announcement etiquette but still pee'd me off a bit!!
So we are now fully out in the open which is slightly scared!
Off to do xmas shopping today on a rare day annual leave - now it feels more real I have got to try to steer clear of too much baby stuff or my DH will go mad!!! X

Oh dear mrspage! I closed my Facebook wall to comments the week before my due date last time to avoid anything like that after the birth. I really didn't want people finding out through Facebook before I could tell them myself. At least it wasn't malicious!

I'm really struggling with the sickness at the moment- sat at my desk feeling dizzy with an awful taste in my mouth.
I feel like it's turning me into a different person as I have to zone out/not talk to avoid throwing up. Can tell DH is fed up of trying to make me feel better. :(

HighHopes I am exactly the same! Threw my guts up this morning. And I'm now in work at my desk feeling like I have a huge hangover!

It's horrible but also reassuring.

Thank you for all your well wishes and concern ladies, I had a lovely chilled out weekend, lots of crafting done and a fish and chip lunch on Saturday. So feeling lots better thank you Smile

Skee I am exactly the same re. bowels, it's horrific, either nothing at all or too much and the gas is definitely getting me down! Both ends!

Someone mentioned movement feeling in their tummy? I get the same, but I'm convinced it's gas, no way I could feel baby just yet.

I had my first outing in my maternity jeans on Saturday and felt soooo comfy!! Back in normal jeans today though, as the mat ones make me look terribly pregnant, and not ready to let on just yet. Need to keep it hidden for another 2/3 weeks.. no idea how, I'm so uncomfortable!

Got a definite bump now, I know it's a bump, because I can breathe the rest of me in, just not baby! DH asked me where my bulge came from over the weekend and if it was baby or food...I nearly smacked him round the head!!! Cheeky so and so!

Sorry, meant to say, I've been having hot water with a couple of slices of lemon in the mornings which seems to be helping with bowels...or peppermint tea with some fresh ginger and lemon in...good for wind..

Hope you get on ok today napping I am just before you at 2.40! DH probably won't manage so will have to get some pictures.

I am jealous of those in mat clothes I need to go shopping but still managing ok at the moment in a bigger size and trying to hide bump as long as possible. My tops are a bigger problem due to my every growing breasts! This is the most normal I have felt so hoping that I am over the worst of the first trimetester.

Thanks for the tea tip Oliversmummy I will be trying that later. (I am also mummy to an Oliver)

I dont know if it was my emotions, but I ended up distraught last night.

DP kindly suggested last night as we were going to bed that my boobs might even out with all the changes they are going through.

I ended up in tears as I always knew they were uneven but didn't realise it was that noticeable and that he had noticed.

I then mistakenly asked him if mine were more uneven than his ex's and apparently they are.

I just want to start researching boob jobs now. Im so selfconcious about them.

Oh dear difficult I really think it's your emotions, dh and I joke about my wonky boobs! My left has ballooned and my right is still behind, you just have to think it's how you are,you were made this way xxx

NappingRabbit · 28/11/2016 13:02

difficult it sounds like your DH was trying to be nice, even if it was v poorly executed. Try not to worry about your boobs now - it's likely that if you breastfeed they may become more uneven if baby favours one side over the other. Nothing is permanent though! I was quite noticeably lopsided for a good 6 months or so but as soon as DS weaned from the breast they soon evened out (even if they were a bit deflated).

Good luck today dontstep, I am utterly terrified! Waiting for DH to get home now. Must find some cash for photos - they charge £3 per photo (max of 3) at my hospital.

Good luck for the scans today!

I got really paranoid at the weekend. Two missed calls from anonymous number on Saturday about the time my doctor's is open. By the time I'd seen the calls doctor had closed so then spent all weekend worrying they were calling me because something was wrong with blood test results!

Anyway, called them today and they said they had the results and all fine no action needed. Phone call must have been something else! Thought I'd recommend to others that if you're at all a worrier like me probably best just to give them a call. They were more than happy to let me know everything is all okay Smile

10 weeks today!

Hi all,

Been a bit off the radar as had my parents staying and the in laws visiting. Told them all on Friday so everyone is v pleased. Made it feel a bit real being able to talk freely about it. Also meant I got out of some diy Smile

I am a bit worried today though as my pee is now dark in colour. Don't think it is blood, but feel I have drank enough for it not to be so dark. It is almost like when I ran a marathon dark. I have filled my water bottle at work and trying to get through it but wondered if anyone else was suffering from this? I am prone to UTIs before being pregnant so a bit concerned and I more likely to get them again

Argh, I work in a preschool and we have a chicken pox outbreak, I've never had it so my midwife had said she would request they check my immunity when they did my bloods but apparently they havnt Hmm so not sure if I'm at risk or not.

Absolutely horrible day here. Got a phone call telling me we are high risk for Down Syndrome at 1:10.

Went back to the hospital and the midwifes were fantastic. There isn't any strong indication of any one thing, it's just a few things at the high end of normal - my age (37), 2.9 nuchal, and slightly low PAPP A hormone levels, although my HCG is fine and she said the PAPP A isn't too bad? In a way that's more baffling as there's no result that's terrible so why is the risk so high?

We've paid for the Iona/harmony test and now just have a long weeks wait...

Catlady100 · 28/11/2016 18:15

Hi all - can I ask a quick question about results of booking blood tests. When do you generally hear back? I know it tends to be at your 16 week appointment if all is okay but in my case I know I am rhesus negative (and told the midwife). Will they wait for 16 weeks for that or should I expect a call or letter (I assume they wouldn't just take my word for it and will formally notify me). thanks cat Smile

Report
RoseBud2016 · 28/11/2016 18:19

So sorry to hear that Moose That is so so worrying. Do you have to wait a week for the harmony test or have you had it and have a weeks wait until the result? I really hope they've managed to fit you in quickly x
