Yes it is quite on here isn't it ,, I'm not on fb either so just hanging round here waiting for news on everyone's scans etc 🤣🤓 i love seeing everyone scan pics and finding out if they're having boys or girls ! I find the twin pregnancys fascinating too ,, hard to imagine your body is capable of growing an actual little baby , crazy to think it can grow 2 at once !!!!! Really looking forward to when due dates start to arrive and hearing everyone's birth stories and seeing those new babies too ❤️❤️

Mrs5boys · 13/01/2017 17:05

Anyone else due 27th June or near that time ? I think most of you are a bit ahead of me

Mrs5boys · 13/01/2017 17:06

Mum of 3 and bean , did they confirm that one twin was a girl then ? I know you was wondering if a little willy might have grown by the time of your scan 🤣

Walkerbean16 · 13/01/2017 17:11

Aww fab news mum of three how cute to think of them facing each other in there!

I'm due on the 1st but I have a feeling that it will be early! No idea why! But the way half term falls my last day at work will be the 8th of April (maternity to start on the 24th) so I'll have a few weeks off before baby arrives! The next half term is the last week in may and I don't want to leave it that late or leave half way through a term, just so my key children can build a proper relationship with my cover.

TravelLoverAndDucky · 13/01/2017 17:42

Mrs - I am due on the 26th, so at the back of the bus with you. Smile

Sixisthemagicnumber · 13/01/2017 17:47

Yes it is quiet here. In my
Last pregnancy I didn't join the Facebook group and it got really really Quiet on here. I've been for my 16 week check today (I'm actually 17+6) and the midwife has a listen for the heartbeat - she found it straightaway, loud and clear Smile. My blood pressure is still low but everything else was good. I won't see the midwife again until I am 28 weeks which seems like forever. But at least I have my scan at the end of the month.

Mrs5boys · 13/01/2017 17:57

Oooooo nice to have company at the back travellover 👍 Ahhh 6 your not far ahead of us then ,,, and yes I thought it seems ages I between those 2 appointments too !!! Lovely you heard the heartbeat ❤️ They can't always find it that early but it's extra peice of mind for you when they do 😀

MundayCakes85 · 13/01/2017 18:02

Hi all, scan this morning. Straight after a night shift. Think all that decaf tea and skittles caused the baby to have a party in there. Wouldn't sit still!
All looked healthy though so I can't be too disappointed I only got 1 proper picture of it 😄

Walkerbean16 · 13/01/2017 19:00

The sonigrapher gave me my photos after the internal when my husband waited outside so I thought he must have paid her but when we left I realised I had the five pound coins in my bag. Now I feel guilty!

MoonlightMojitos · 13/01/2017 19:02

walker I had my scan today and also have a low placenta so have to go back for another scan at 36 weeks to see if it's moved :(. I hope so as really don't want a c-sec! I'm also considering moving my maternity leave forward a bit now too as I think they book you in early if it does have to be csec if it's still low so another thing to think about!

ymmv · 13/01/2017 22:20

Mrs5 and Travel I'm due 24th so also pretty far back.

Walkerbean16 · 13/01/2017 23:07

Moonlight, I hope it moves for you! It gets you worried doesn't it even though 90% move in time you can't help worrying Blush

Passmethecrisps · 13/01/2017 23:24

I'm the 23rd so make space on the back seats!

I am a horror for googling. I like to be informed but I have to train myself to take a step back.

Funny isn't it walker. My second thought on discovering my due date was "perfect, I can see the senior kids to study leave and the new classes can have their new teacher taught away."

MissisBee · 14/01/2017 09:41

crisps my first thought on discovering I'm having a baby in June was "yes! No guide camp for me!" Although, the other leader is, in her kindness, making valiant efforts to accommodate me.

I'm celebrating today as it's a whole week since I last puked and I think that stage is finally over. 17+5

MissisBee · 14/01/2017 09:51

OK, spoke too soon. That'll teach me for being smug Envy

adlertippa · 14/01/2017 10:45

Oh no missis! Hopefully that was the Last Puke! I was about to congratulate you, my last puke was a week ago now and I'm so relieved. But instead I'll bring you some crisps and fizzy water xx

MumofthreeandBean · 14/01/2017 11:06

missus I'm now 20.5 and still get nautious every now and then.
mumof5 Due 29th may - front seats for me!! Obviously I shouldn't even get that far with twins, probably more around the 37week mark.
I didn't tell the sonographer what sex we were told the twins were,so she told me what she saw and was the same so I am pleased with that 😊
The boy is now twin 1 though as the hospital go by the size of baby but private clinic go by which will be born first, our girl is lower down.
Movements are getting quite hard now! Dreading in a month or so.

MissisBee · 14/01/2017 13:20

Thanks adler I'm hoping it's the Last Puke too. My own fault though, I was sitting about instead of eating my breakfast

Babybiscuit1 · 14/01/2017 15:48

Went shopping with my friend today and found some bargain maternity jeans in the red herring range 2 pairs cost me £17! Also got some bits in the sale online in DP this week. Think thats my maternity wardrobe done now. I only have a small bump so far and i'm convinced is more bloat than bump but normal jeans and trousers are just so uncomfortable now. Im 18+6 today i'm sure i'm starting to feel more movement really wiggling last night.

Suffering with backache at night, my L pillow from amazon arrived yesterday, not sure it helped as it felt worse this morning, but I think that may be because I sat on a dining room chair all day working from home. I'm due on the 12th so mid bus for me.

MoonlightMojitos · 14/01/2017 16:38

walker always a new thing to worry about isn't there! Hope yours moves too.

mumof3 how does it work with twins? Do they let you go to 40 weeks still with extra monitoring or will they induce early? I've never known anyone with twins :). My best friend has shared that they're going to start trying later this year and she's worrying about twins (because she's terrified of pregnancy and birth anyway!) As she has them in the family and her DHs. He is a twin himself.

biscuit I've had backache down my left side for a week now and I'm sure it's my pregnancy pillow. It's so much more comfortable than without but I think I'm just getting used to sleeping on my side when I've always slept on my front before.

Been shopping with my mum today as she was so impatient to start buying things (first grandchild!). I had to tell her to put several things back as it was too much! Now have 3 packs of babygros and a few packs of socks... I bet she will go back for more anyway Hmm.

Babybiscuit1 · 14/01/2017 16:48

Mojitos i'm finding it so hard not to buy anything for baby, which is why I think i'm overindulging a bit on maternity wear. I have decided that once we've had our 20 week scan on the 24th and everything's ok then I will purchase a few. We've also signed up to the mama's and papa's new parent event on 12th Feb. I thought it may be worse last night adjusting to the pillow.

Sixisthemagicnumber · 14/01/2017 17:00

Just ask your mum to buy a range of sizes moonlight so you don't end up with a mountain of newborn stuff.

MoonlightMojitos · 14/01/2017 18:04

biscuit we had the 20 week scan yesterday and she was banned from buying anything until after then which is why she was straight out today! Will do six!

Sixisthemagicnumber · 14/01/2017 18:30

I feel your pain moonlight my mum is already putting together a baby basket despite us not having the 20 week scan yet and still having most of ds3 stuff which we will reuse. I told her not to buy any jonhnsons stuff because I don't use it on my babies (and she always buys me loads) and not to buy any bibs because she bought me loads with ds3 and as a breastfed baby we rarely used a bib so they are all virtually new. She has already bought bibs!

Passmethecrisps · 14/01/2017 19:00

baby I also get backache in the evening. I tend to use a hot water bottle when sitting on the sofa. I also have aching thighs and groin as though I have been running. Chance would be a fine thing!
