I'm getting the bugaboo donkey as potential will need to get both toddlers in it as well as baby if rushing on the school run. Going to get the petrol blue colour pack because i like it but I'm sure the fact we are having a girl people will make daft comments. Who cares Wink

Don't worry about not showing crisps, lots of my friends didn't show til well past 20 weeks and then it suddenly came from nowhere!

Hi everyone Smile

Haven't posted on here in a while but have been following. Hope you're all well.

Agree with vegan get any colour pram for either sex! Who cares if people make comments? Their issue! DD had a green pram & I never had any comments.

We're finding out the sex this afternoon. Both excited & nervous. We're taking our DD with us who is 2.6 so I'm looking forward to seeing what she makes of it. She probably won't be fussed! All going well, I'm planning to go & look at prams afterwards. Seriously considering a bugaboo cam/buff this time. With DD we got a pram at the cheaper end & I really regret it as it was used so bloody much. But then again, not sure I can justify the cost of a bug! Have also been considering buying one second hand...

MissisBee · 08/01/2017 09:20

Thanks Rosebud will have a look at that. We've decided to get the blue one regardless. There will probably be busybody comments if we have a girl but who cares. My mum says she was told off by a neighbour for putting a blue blanket on me! (Even though she insists is was "eau-de-nil"!).
Exciting day ahead hazy good luck

Poppydm · 08/01/2017 09:27

Exciting Hazy! Let us know how you get on! Smile

Passmethecrisps · 08/01/2017 10:06

Morning all.

Very exciting about the sex scan hazy. Do keep us posted.

I am a bit jealous of all the pram buying. We bought an Uppababy Vista for dd and will be using that again this time. It was great and actually even though she is 4 dd used it until very recently.

For the school run I was thinking either a board on the back or a sling for baby. The school is maybe 5 minutes away so I suppose it depends on dd's willingness to walk there. She will be in P1 in August so all change for her.

HazyHazyJeans · 08/01/2017 16:41

I know a few people with the uppababy crisps who really recommend it. We don't actually NEED a new pram but if I can get s a good bargain I will. We didn't really get a chance to look today as DD was too tired so we just came home.

We're having another girl! We're all really delighted. At some point I'll need to look through all dd's old clothes as I can't remember what I've kept! We shouldn't need to buy much though

Changerazelea · 08/01/2017 18:51

Hi all, another new joiner here been reading for ages! 19 weeks Tuesday second baby DS is 3. Unfortunately I have been in bed with flu since NYE and pretty down in the dumps. Dr prescribed antivirals and antibiotics so It's not been a great week. 20w scan on 20/01 and can't decide whether to find out....

MoonlightMojitos · 08/01/2017 19:25

crisps we got the vista so good to hear you like it! I didn't want to buy anything til after 20 week scan but it was a massive bargain in the sales so went for it. I really wanted an icandy but dp won Hmm as he thought it was much easier with the one handed click to get carrycot off etc and easier to put up/down.

hazy I've said on Facebook but congrats again! We have our 20 week scan on Friday so will hopefully be finding out then if baby plays ball!

Welcome changer.

Passmethecrisps · 08/01/2017 20:17

moonlight I think the iCandy wins on beauty but the vista is terribly good. The ease of getting the carry cot off is great and it maneovers really well.

I have decided that I would like a baby bjorn bouncer and a chicco next to me crib. I just saw them both for sale in Facebook selling but they were already gone.

Passmethecrisps · 08/01/2017 20:18

Sorry! Hello changer. Sorry you have been unwell.

Congrats hazy!

VeganMama83 · 09/01/2017 07:51

Good afternoon Ladies,

I hope you don't mind me saying hello? I was on this board last year but had a MC early December...wanted to let you all know that I got a BFP over the weekend and am due again early September now - so excited but scared too...

I hope you're all well, and your pregnancies are coming along nicely, bet there were some lovely announcements over Christmas Smile

Still early days and there is a part of me which worries history will repeat itself, but keeping everything crossed for this to be a sticky little bean, and already feel far more positive about this pregnancy than I did the last..

5+6 today Grin

Good luck to you all with your babies, I will keep an eye out for you all as the year goes on if you don't mind? Got a lovely bunch of ladies on the September birth board, but miss you lot too!! x

VeganMama83 · 09/01/2017 16:33

Fab news hazy, the bond between sisters is so special, lucky DD Smile

MumofthreeandBean · 09/01/2017 20:50

Congrats oliver xxx

Passmethecrisps · 09/01/2017 20:56

olivers that is such lovely news!! Please keep us posted.

I am struggling to match Facebook names and mn names. Must try harder.

First day back at work today and ended up back home for a couple of days while I get clarity on a possibly slapped cheek risk. Ah well.

I also noticed that I seem to be waddling a bit when I walk. My thighs and hips hurt and I can feel a waddle like a very, very pregnant woman might have. Very peculiar.

Masweetpea1 · 09/01/2017 20:56

Yay olivers, great news and nice to hear from you . Wishing you all the luck in the world Smile xx

LilyCat43 · 09/01/2017 21:24

How do I send a pm to join in on FB? Am I being silly? Lol

MissisBee · 09/01/2017 21:28

olivers great to hear from you and congrats!
crisps I'm having the same problem, can only remember about 3 names at a time. I know there's a list somewhere

Passmethecrisps · 09/01/2017 21:44

lily you go to the profile section and select inbox. You then enter the name of the person you want to send one to. Are you on the mobile app?

I have worked out maybe 2 people, missis. I am hopeless

VeganMama83 · 09/01/2017 21:54

There's a list in the fb group for MN names x

lily message me about joining the group
