Ohhhhh I'm really hoping shes right ,,, she said it was a girl and yes after 5 boys it would be a lovely surprise for everyone !!! I feel like my specialised subject on mastermind could be Thomas the tank engine /power rangers/dinosaurs 😂 This is definitely our last baby too so would round up our family nicely !! I've had these scans with my last 3 boys and never questioned them ,but maybe it's because I wasn't expecting them to say it was a girl so I can't quite believe it ! She did say she could see from underneath (potty shot) and from the front and did say she was certain but just have that little voice that says a willy could easily be hiding somewhere 😂😂

MumofthreeandBean · 06/01/2017 21:02

I feel the same about my girl twin, I'm sure at my 20 week scan they will say it's 2 boys 😂

Sixisthemagicnumber · 06/01/2017 22:07

mrs5boys I am the first girl after my mum had 5 boys and even when I was born (no scans in them days) she didn't believe the midwife when she announced I was a girl. My mum was convinced the midwife just hadn't looked properly Smile

Mrs5boys · 06/01/2017 22:26

At least it's not just me then 😬😬 I'm hoping at my 20 week scan they will say it's a girl and then I guess the odds are pretty good 😬 So much pressure from other people when you have all of one gender ,, we never tell people I'm pregnant until we know what we are having because it just cuts out all the negative comments about if it's "just another boy" even if I had girls and boys I would still have had all these children because it's just the crazy ass way I roll 😂😂 I do have my eye on a little unicorn sleep suit in Sainsbury's though so maybe just maybe I could buy that on the off chance 😬😬😬

Mrs5boys · 06/01/2017 22:27

Ahhhhh is that why 6 is the magic number hey 👍 (I have no idea how to tag people's names ,sorry 😂)

Sixisthemagicnumber · 07/01/2017 07:14

Haha, no mrs, six being the magic number refers to the fact that we will be a family of six after this baby - four kids plus me and DH Smile

MumofthreeandBean · 07/01/2017 07:53

Haha six we will be a family of 7 - never thought that would happen!!

Mrs5boys · 07/01/2017 10:39

Ohhhh I see 😂 And omg we will be a family of 8 😬😬unbelievable !!

Poppydm · 07/01/2017 10:56

Hi ladies, I had an early gender scan and they said it was a girl. She said she was sure. On the potty shot you can see three lines and I can't see any sign of a scrotum. Their rating for accuracy is 99% so hope she's got it right. Hopefully they will check at my 20 week scan in a few weeks.
Sixpence I got a snuzpod with mattress and protector this morning for £190. That's the cheapest I've found one new. They have quite a few on eBay depending on where you live.

adlertippa · 07/01/2017 11:24

I've just been given one of those big inflatable exercise balls (like a space hopper without the handles). Any idea on how I actually use it?

RoseBud2016 · 07/01/2017 11:28

Six we bought a Snuzpod yesterday from Ebay with mattress protector and 4 fitted sheets for £120. We collected it last night and it's absolutely immaculate! We will get a new mattress for it but still saved about £100.

Sixisthemagicnumber · 07/01/2017 13:43

You will have to get a minibus mrs5boys.

Mrs5boys · 07/01/2017 13:59

Haha I know car space and house space is getting a bit tricky now 😬 I guess it's the same for everyone once you go past 4 children !

Sixisthemagicnumber · 07/01/2017 14:10

We upgraded to a 7 seat car last year when we had our 3rd child as even with three it was a real
Squeeze in my little car and as two are teenagers they take up loads of bloody space (and leave the car a pigsty). DH wants to change our 2nd car to a seven seater now as well but I have told him no chance!

Mrs5boys · 07/01/2017 14:29

Oh god it's a nightmare isn't it ! Luckily we don't often all go out together (older 2 are teenagers) but the bigger your family becomes the trickier practical things are that's for sure !

MumofthreeandBean · 07/01/2017 15:20

I am worried about having the twins and the big three in the car with a double buggy!! I have 7 seats but it will be a squeeze when all of us go out.
House wise I just think we'll fit them in somewhere 😂

MissisBee · 07/01/2017 16:25

Went for a look at prams today, really like the joie chrome. The man in the shop was very helpful without being too pushy or salesy. One thing though - we like the blue colour pack better than all the others, would we be mad getting blue even though it might be a girl? DH and I dont mind at all but might get a lot of comments

MissisBee · 07/01/2017 16:26

Just as I'm sitting here typing, pretty sure I felt definite movement for the first time!

Passmethecrisps · 07/01/2017 16:29

Afternoon ladies!

We finally decided this morning that we will go for a sex scan then tell dd1. Glad we have decided that.

alder I had one which I used to sit on when watching telly. I would bounce, roll back and forward, side to side and in figure of eights. No idea if it made any difference but it entertained my husband on the night before my induction when I had a very small nerve calming wine while bouncing about watching the wire

Passmethecrisps · 07/01/2017 16:33

missis I think you are less likely to get comments with blue. I think blue is a lovely colour and can be easily accessoried to suit you (or others!)

Blue and pink go very nicely together I think.

I am out today in both mat jeans and top. Still no actual discernible bump though. If I am honest it is starting to worry me a bit. I can feel my uterus but I still seems awfully low. I might take a pic later for fb if I am brave enough.

Babybiscuit1 · 07/01/2017 16:34

MissisBee I'm 99% sure I felt definite movement this afternoon too! Like they were having a good stretch or roll :)

Sixisthemagicnumber · 07/01/2017 18:38

missisbee I think a blue pram is fine for either sex. If it is that bright laser blue then I love that colour. We ordered our pram today - a tandem as we will have a toddler and newborn. We went for grey stonewash which sounds boring but it looked lovely with the brown leather handles and silver frame.

Sixisthemagicnumber · 07/01/2017 18:41

Which 7 seater do you have mumofthree? I imagine a zafira or similar will be a squeeze as there is no real boot space with all the seats up. We have got a seat Alhambra and even in 7 seat mode I think I will be able to squeeze the double pushchair in the boot but as there will only be six of us we can always leave one seat folded up.

MumofthreeandBean · 07/01/2017 22:04

six yes it's a zafira 😂😂 didn't realise we were pregnant when we got it, let alone pregnant with twins!! 😂😂

RoseBud2016 · 07/01/2017 23:17

Missisbee not sure if you've seen that the Joie Chrome plus is on offer on Bounty's website at the mo if your a member- £299 for pushchair, carrycot and car seat.

We have ordered our pushchair from M&P yesterday. They price matched with a deal we found online and saved £200. Can change our minds or cancel at any time and get a full refund- can't argue with that!
