Not heard of badidas.

Woo have got the chair and it's gonna be delivered. It one of those Dutalier nursing gchairs and footstool, so hoping I'll make use of it for bf. Also the chair we have in our living room isn't v comfy so we'll probably get rid of that. As it was a buy it now item we couldn't get outbid and I don't think I'd have got it cheaper if i'd just used normal bidding...I've seen them go for loads more. They're about £300 in John Lewis!Figure we can always sell it on ebay again when we're finished with it.

8andahalfweeksandcounting · 15/02/2007 16:14

Isn't it bubblebath?

eca · 15/02/2007 16:14

katy do you mean this ? I thought it was just a regular bubble bath.

8andahalfweeksandcounting · 15/02/2007 16:15

Katy44 · 15/02/2007 16:15

Katy44 · 15/02/2007 16:17

bubblez · 15/02/2007 16:19

What does the badedas do then?

bubblez · 15/02/2007 16:20

oh btw well done NG....!! Yeah the breast pump that i got on ebay was a buy it now, i kept loosing the bidding wars

1becomes3 · 15/02/2007 16:27

I have done it said I was going to try and be less crap at catching up, and well I have. (made notes and everything)

81/2weeks 10hrs sleepp
Hope you have enjoyed your last day of work.

SOSPL-I have terrible heart burn aswell, I do find that milk helps plus peppermint tea, with a tiny 1/2 spoonfull of sugar, helps with the trapped wind as well.

EllieK and your huge bump-at your cold hope you feel better soon.

MWABT and twinkle-Glad all is well with baby's.

And for everyone who is stressing about having everthing read for the babies, I am lik a woman possesed, have gone into major organising every little aspect mode, done all my baby washing packed bags for hospital, and I am still no where near ready.

Had a crazy dream last night that I gave birth in a shopping trolly to a baby boy we called freddie!?!
At least it wasn't the dream where I have 4 babies instead of 2.

Does anyone else know hat sort of weight their babies are?
Strange question I know, but after finding out the DT's weight I would like to compare their growth to a single or other multiple (if your around ooogs), whish I had asked their weight at my earlier scans so I could have kept track.

Katy44 · 15/02/2007 16:31

Ooh that reminds me - do I have to buy special washing powder, or just chuck in the daz?
1b3 - 4 babies instead of 2!

bubblez · 15/02/2007 16:32

1b3 - I didnt catch how big you dts are but the midwife said to me at my last visit that my lo is on track for ending up a 6lb baby... if that helps. How big did they say your dtws are/going to be?

btw ever since trying out the breast pump (and shockingly expressing some milk) I have sore tingly boob!!

geordiemacminx · 15/02/2007 16:36

I use this website to check on LO's progress every if thats any help re weights

\link{http://www.pregnancy.org/pregnancy/fetaldevelopment1.php#week9 \update}

Re washing powder, I think you can get non boligical, super sensitive stuff... might be worth it for the first wee while, when the babies skin is ultra sensitive? Not sure though

geordiemacminx · 15/02/2007 16:36

feck

geordiemacminx · 15/02/2007 16:37

oh just copy and past it!!!!

Katy44 · 15/02/2007 16:40

gmm that site looks fantastic - especially like the pictures

nuttygirl · 15/02/2007 16:47

Kat - think you're meant to use non-biological but I have no idea how long for. I'd have been none the wiser except my mum is one of those people who stocks up on stuff and so she keeps buying fairy powder & fabric softener "cos that's what I should use for the baby stuff"! (We've only had to buy 1 pack of toilet rolls since we got married 2.5 yrs ago & mum lives 120 miles away!!! )

Bubblez - PMSL...didn't realise you'd actually used it onyourself...thought you meant you'd switched it on and some of the last owner's milk had come out of it!!! I bought one off ebay aswell and it had no instructions - got them from the manufacturers website (is it a medela one? if so you have to go to the american webite to get the instructions)

nuttygirl · 15/02/2007 16:48

Sorry that should have said Katy my keyboard keeps playing up

1becomes3 · 15/02/2007 16:48

I still use the non bio stuff plus some comfort pure for DD.

The DT's are 3.5lbs each.

Anyone got any good ideas for baby blankets?
I can't remember what I used for DD.

1becomes3 · 15/02/2007 16:52

Next time you all go for a scan (if you have anymore?)
We should all find out babies weight would be funny to see who's got a big'un

nuttygirl · 15/02/2007 16:55

GMM those pics are great! It's so strange tho, I was quite a small baby, according to those pics my bean is heavier now than I was when I was born!

bubblez · 15/02/2007 17:03

NG - I only wanted to make sure that the suction was still working and I couldnt feel it on my hand so..... I pannicked when I saw milk shoot out It is the medela one, will go check out the sight now then and see if everything is pressent etc.

Gmm that is a brill sight...

bubblez · 15/02/2007 17:04

wow 1b3 - 3.5lbs how big are they estimating they will be by the time you go for your c-section?

1becomes3 · 15/02/2007 17:17

I didn't dare ask, and I really don't want to even think about it!

My BIL was a twin and him and his bro were 7lbs EACH.
FUCK THAT.
Have so much respect for their mum.
