Wow can't believe I'm here 😁 I had a look, but couldn't see any other threads. Hopefully I won't be alone.

This will be our second baby. DS is 3.... 4 in january. EDD should be about 2nd August I think.

Hope I'm not alone for too long!

Old wives tales my mothers prediction is if it's a girl you crave savoury and if it's a boy you want sweet things, let's see if it's true! defo heading for a girl by the looks of things!

MochaChocaChino · 27/12/2016 16:06

Oooh I do wonder TMI

Definitely craved savoury when having DS I was totally off chocolate 🍫 can't remember when that really hit in though.

Seems the exhaustion is earlier this time though for sure.

watchingitallagain · 27/12/2016 17:25

With you on the nausea. This is my third pregnancy and I feel twice as bad as I did with either of the others.

Fingers crossed that doesn't mean twins. I really would have to get a bigger car then! Confused

watchingitallagain · 27/12/2016 17:27

Meant to add. I've been told savoury cravings for a boy and sour for a girl.

I'm currently living off pickled onion monster munch. Wink

choccyTeapot · 27/12/2016 19:16

Am another one craving all savoury, all the time! Used to have a raging sweet tooth so it's very strange

Cheese and beef hula hoops are currently my best friends Grin

WantingBaby1 · 27/12/2016 19:57

Mmmm beef hula hoops sound good!

hrfvenia · 27/12/2016 20:27

I am loving pickled onion monster munch too watching! S+V where before I couldn't stand them.

Can't bring myself to eat much meat at the moment. The thought of chewing makes me gag

Writerwannabe83 · 27/12/2016 21:03

Another one needing savoury.

I'm ravenous ALL the time and even though I have a fridge full of chocolate (that I would normally devour) I am not remotely interested in eating any of it Sad

Catherinebee85 · 27/12/2016 21:26

I'm definitely craving savoury. Before I realised I was pregnant I had 2 mcdonalds in a week which is totally unheard of (haven't eaten mcdonalds at all in the last year!) But the burger tasted too sweet....I just wanted the salty delicious fries I think. I've got loads of Christmas chocolate and have eaten some but I think it's out of habit more than because I actually want it!x

MrsG280516 · 27/12/2016 21:32

I'm yo-yoing between hunger and nausea today, it's so odd. Feel hungry so I eat something then feel sick and I wish I hadn't!

Kirstyinnorway · 28/12/2016 06:32

Think my digestive system is going wild... I'm eating much bigger breakfasts than usual since I seem to wake up feeling mildly sicky and that cures it (avocado on toast being the slightly hipster winner). I have also been systematically making my way through a giant birthday cake my Mum baked for me over the last couple of days, dinner I've been craving salty carbs so made a homemade pizza last night with chicken AND ham.

This morning I have lost 3lb.

Whaaaa?! It's got to catch up with me soon, right? I'm going to wake up looking like a whale tomorrow?

Kirstyinnorway · 28/12/2016 06:33

(That's not a humble-brag, by the way, my BMI is still just slightly over "healthy" and I'm genuinely just confused by the whole thing!)

Sparklyuggs · 28/12/2016 12:25

kirsty I'd just feel pleased about not gaining weight! I'm with you on the avocado on toast thing, definitely helps me.

Fattycowagain · 28/12/2016 12:40

I feel so sick today!

Herewegoagain31 · 28/12/2016 12:49

Hi all can I join - got my BFP about 10 days ago, due on 29th August, but it's been a massive shock as we weren't trying or even planning for this baby (I already have 2 DC's, DS is only just 10 months!) and I have no idea how it happened, we DTD when I was still on my period! DH will be getting the snip ASAP if this baby arrives safe and well! So still getting my head around the situation. 5 weeks today with seriously sore boobs and occasionally feeling sick and knackered. I always feel like death the first 12 weeks so I have no idea how I am going to look after an energetic 3yr old and 10month old at the same time!

Kirstyinnorway · 28/12/2016 12:50

Oh no fatty (that sounds really mean!) that's rubbish. Can you manage a flat coke or something to keep your blood sugar up?

Yes sparkly, I am pleased! I'm sure it'll all change very soon - my first place to gain is my thighs, so just waiting for that delight! Grin I've eaten 5 avocados this week, hope there isn't a limit! Haha. DH pointed out that I have actually cut quite a lot of calories from my diet by not drinking - I bet he's right, and that's what's causing it. I wasn't ever an excessive drinker, but my tipple of choice is white wine, which I think is pretty bad in terms of empty calories!

Kirstyinnorway · 28/12/2016 12:54

Hi herewego, what a surprise! Congratulations, and well done DH on the super-sperm Grin I'm sure it'll be a handful for you, but at least you'll get all the nappies out of the road in one go?!

ZigAZigAhh · 28/12/2016 13:02

Fatty - same here. Keep getting waves of nausea, my back teeth are all fuzzy and tickly and everything is making me gag (particularly brushing my teeth). Smells are really getting to me too. Urrrggghhhh. Appetite has gone out the window but forcing myself to nibble on ginger biscuits seems to help a tiny bit.

Welcome here - sounds like you have had a massive surprise indeed! Hope the sickness/tiredness doesn't get too much and you can manage to find some time to put your feet up in between looking after your other DC (much easier said than done I'm sure!)

Fattycowagain · 28/12/2016 13:08

Zig, brushing my teeth is horrible. Due to pregnancy, my gums are bleeding easily. So the brushing itself makes me gag and then the taste of blood make the nausea 10 times worse... Have thrown up quite a few times because of it already! I'm going to discus it with my dentist, as this cannot be good for my teeth.

Fattycowagain · 28/12/2016 13:12

I've started a new thread for us! Hope nobody minds...

slpro · 26/01/2017 22:48

Hi I am due on 30th Aug with my second child. I have a three year old daughter already. Suffering with morning sickness with an active child and a full time job atm. Just received my scan date 20th Feb so only 3 weeks to wait! X
