Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 48th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 47th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 61st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread <a class="break-all" href="//onwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2588689-we-re-still-teething-trying-to-wean-and-our-babies-just-won-t-go-to-sleep-when-we-re-trying-to-js-for-another-one-it-s-just-mumming-no-11" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Oh poor you just. I get it after antibiotics without fail. To the point where if the doctor prescribes ABs I just ask for the tablet and cream prescription at the same time!

It's scanxiety o'clock here. Isn't pregnancy super fun and not at all worrying..... Hmm

justtheonethen · 01/09/2017 08:57

I was in bits before mine. Good luck lovely and hopefully soon you will be sharing a picture of your baby!

NovaArt3mis · 01/09/2017 10:19

Healthy (wriggly!) little baby girl!

It wasn't quite as terrifying as the 12 week one because I could feel movement so it was more anxiety about whether everything was developing as it should be.

Gotta go back for scan at 32 weeks as placenta is over the birth canal but she was very reassuring that it often moves especially when it's at the front like mine.

SofiePendragon · 01/09/2017 10:43

Yay! Congratulations Nova! What a lovely start to September!

justtheonethen · 01/09/2017 12:37

Hurrah, congratulations Star. So pleased all is well.

They think ours is a girl too based on nub theory so I'm excited to see if they are right. There hasn't been a girl child in DH family for as far back as they remember. I was convinced this one would be a boy and felt a tiny but disappointed initially but obviously now I'm going to be disappointed if it's not a girl.

NovaArt3mis · 01/09/2017 16:05

I must admit just I thought your scan looked like a girl too. Very similar to mine.

I had a feeling this was a girl all the way through and got so used to the idea that I would've been shocked if she'd said boy today. Would've taken a bit of getting used to!

justtheonethen · 01/09/2017 16:58

Oh really....interesting. I'm pretty excited about a mini me now so hope that's right.

NovaArt3mis · 02/09/2017 12:14

I'm thinking of using my maternity leave to write a book. It'll be called Stupid shit people say to pregnant women Hmm
The sequel could be Pregnancy: Learning to nod and smile.

justtheonethen · 02/09/2017 12:39

Love it, I'll buy it! What's been said now?

NovaArt3mis · 02/09/2017 16:54

Awk just random little things daily. Nothing offensive just irritating and unhelpful. MIL saying things like 'oh I wouldn't get too excited, it's all sleepless nights, dirty nappies and endless worry.'
Why do people revel in being negative? I feel like saying "oh my god, you mean newborn babies don't know how to use the toilet and wipe themselves!? This is brand new information!"
I know I'm just easier to annoy because of all the super fun raging hormones but still Angry

justtheonethen · 04/09/2017 17:32

Ugh how annoying. My MIL is making equally irritating comments about how useless DH will be. He won't he will be fab but she always underestimates him and I feel like she's just waiting for him to screw up which is horrid.
Also same dirty nappy comments, er yes I fucking know and actually I can't fucking wait for all of it. I've waited 3.5 years to conceive my baby so a bit of poo and crying isn't going to put me off.

Bloody royals stealing our thunder Smile. Is one of us Kate? I have hyperemesis but sadly not the required swishy hair!

CountryGal4 · 05/09/2017 14:35

For some time it was believed I might be Kate.....there's no way she says fuck as much as I do Grin

TriJo · 05/09/2017 16:32

Who knows what happens behind closed doors! :)

pretzelpieces · 05/09/2017 19:16

I hated the negativity last pregnancy. Have avoided it this time because I don't talk to anyone Grin

Having said that... I think I've got PND or whatever it's called when you're horribly anxious and depressed and you haven't even had the baby yet. I've been prioritised for help though, seeing someone on 2nd Oct. Blush

FuzzyOwl · 05/09/2017 21:07

Sorry to hear that pretzel and I am under the perinatal team for the same reason. Hope you get some good support.

Kate tried to steal my thunder when I was pregnant with DC1 and we'll have a similar due date again. Nothing else comparable though!

pretzelpieces · 05/09/2017 23:07

Thanks fuzzy. And how rude of Kate to try to steal your thunder again!

NovaArt3mis · 06/09/2017 05:48

pretzel that sounds like my kind of tactic, just avoid everyone Grin Sorry to hear you're feeling like that, great that you've got an appointment sorted tho.

George was born the day before my wedding, pfft. how are he and little Charlotte getting on country? Wink

DH felt his first kick last night, his face was adorable.

SofiePendragon · 06/09/2017 21:47

Country I reckon Kate swears like a trooper behind closed doors. She surely must have more of a personality than she shows publicly anyway.

pretzel antenatal depression and anxiety sounds awful. Did you feel similar in your previous pregnancy? Glad you've got an appointment sorted.

I've had tonsillitis since the end of last week with a dreadful cough. My pelvic floor is not coping well with the extra demands - I had to get up every hour on Saturday night to make sure I didn't wet the bed! Blush

pretzelpieces · 06/09/2017 22:35

Thanks nova. I thought you'd said she kicked him in the face 😁 that happened last time when DP had his head pressed to the bump, listening (for some inexplicable reason).

sofie time to crack out the tena lady? I couldn't be without mine. I hope you feel better soon. Yes, I felt like this with DD though it was worse earlier on. It lifted once she arrived but we didn't have the housing stress we do now (we're flat hunting as we desperately need two bedrooms!).

NovaArt3mis · 07/09/2017 10:24

And now I want to make sure DH gets at least one kick in the face from bump hah!

Think I'm gonna have to buy some tena before I go on holiday next week.

Ooh, someone fancy making a new Fred? I would, but I'll make a tit of it.

pretzelpieces · 07/09/2017 22:36

Hang on, I'll have a go

pretzelpieces · 07/09/2017 22:46

Ha! Glad I'm such a good influence nova!

NEW FRED IS HERE!

Hopefully I haven't muffed it up too badly. Grin

justtheonethen · 08/09/2017 07:08

Thanks pretzel see you there!

SofiePendragon · 08/09/2017 08:02

Oooh! I get to be the last poster! Grin

Thanks pretzel!
