Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 48th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 47th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 61st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread <a class="break-all" href="//onwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2588689-we-re-still-teething-trying-to-wean-and-our-babies-just-won-t-go-to-sleep-when-we-re-trying-to-js-for-another-one-it-s-just-mumming-no-11" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I'm off to find a bus and go home to bed. The weather's bloody lovely too. Typical.

Elbi · 13/08/2017 18:03

I know a few people who've had norovirus lately so maybe it's going round....

TriJo · 13/08/2017 21:17

I had it just over a month ago. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

NovaArt3mis · 14/08/2017 04:18

I had it the day of my first bfp in December (4 days before Christmas!) Had never experienced anything like it before. It definitely wasn't norovirus the other night, I'm much better thankfully.

Elbi · 14/08/2017 09:48

Glad you're feeling better Nova :)

Just spoke to midwife as have had quite intense pain over the weekend along with a killer headache and dizziness... She was very breezy about it, said it was totally normal for symptoms to change (my boobs have shrunk too!!) so I'm tentatively feeling reassured but still a bit confused. She said there's not really anything they can do until the 12 week scan anyway (I'm 9 weeks) unless I start bleeding...

pretzelpieces · 14/08/2017 21:46

True just, could be good to be in a new place where my bloody ex doesn't work just over the road.

country Pud used to call hers Pablo as well! That Pablo gets around a bit 😏

nova that sounds horrible, I'm so glad it sounds like the worst is over.

elbi sorry you are also feeling poorly.

I phoned for my early GTT results today and they're ok. Hooray! Will go for another at 28 weeks. Fasting/before result 4.6, after result 5.1. Very good. Heard the heartbeat (eventually) at 16 week appointment today as well, which was lovely. They had to dig around a few places for a vein to do an iron check too as I'm not feeling at all well. Blood pressure is low so could be down to that.

FuzzyOwl · 14/08/2017 22:14

Glad you are feeling better Nova. I hate to say it but I often have several bouts when pregnant. I don't get morning sickness and it is as if that is my body's alternative.

Thinking of your Elbi and pregnancy is so worrying.

Great news pretzel.

Elbi · 15/08/2017 09:57

Isn't it though Fuzzy? I wish I was one of these women who seem to sail through it so happily!

pretzel That sounds really great and how lovely to hear the heartbeat. Hope you start to feel better too.

justtheonethen · 16/08/2017 07:31

Yay to hearing the ❤️️ pretzel. How exciting!

How is everyone?

justtheonethen · 16/08/2017 07:33

Hope it's nothing elbi, think it's normal for symptoms to fluctuate. Is the pain round ligament pain maybe?

nova feeling better?

TriJo · 16/08/2017 11:48

The "bowling ball on my bladder" feeling when running is here. Feck.

justtheonethen · 16/08/2017 12:53

Tena lady tri Grin

TriJo · 16/08/2017 13:13

It's not leaking that's the problem, it's the constantly feeling like I need to pee when I'm running! I needed a comfort break halfway through a 4km run yesterday and there was only a dribble when I actually went...

I was hoping to make it to my 50 parkruns t-shirt before I stop, I have 7 to go, this is going to be hard work...

justtheonethen · 16/08/2017 13:46

Oh, no suggestions then! Poor you.

NovaArt3mis · 16/08/2017 20:03

I arrive at work bursting every morning and the most pathetic drizzle comes out. So unsatisfying.

Yes, thank you just, a bit rotten with headaches and sore gums from a scale and polish but no repeats of the weekend sickness thankfully.

How's everyone doing?

Elbi · 16/08/2017 22:15

Ah viroids, I'm bleeding Sad Off to the clinic in the morning (unless things get worse before then) to see what's going on. Feel wretched about it but DH keeps reminding me it doesn't necessarily mean the worst.

pretzelpieces · 16/08/2017 23:11

Oh elbi. I'm offering a handhold and crossing everything for you.

Elbi · 17/08/2017 02:40

Thanks pretzel. The bleeding has eased up but I'm getting cramps at regular intervals, like contractions, so I'm not very hopeful. See what the scan says in the morning.

NovaArt3mis · 17/08/2017 04:48

Oh elbi, I'll be thinking of you today.

justtheonethen · 17/08/2017 05:31

Got everything crossed for you elbi Flowers

SofiePendragon · 17/08/2017 08:36

Elbi Good luck today!

FuzzyOwl · 17/08/2017 12:48

Hope it went well this morning Elbi.

TriJo · 17/08/2017 12:52

Hope everything goes well today Elbi!

Had my "16 week" appointment this morning (I'm actually 14+3, midwife is away the next 2 weeks) - all good :) Results back from the T21/T18/T13 screening were all very low risk and a strong heartbeat too. Extra appointment scheduled in for 20-21 weeks because midwife thinks the gap to the next one on the schedule is too long and to give the MATB1 (DH's company is very strict on having it by 25 weeks to pay full salary for paternity leave).

Elbi · 17/08/2017 13:06

Thanks for the well wishes all. Sadly I am now miscarrying Sad Gutted. According to the scan it never got past about 4/5 weeks and I ought to be nearly 10. So I've got a rotten few days coming up while it sorts itself out.
Going to take myself and my little misery party off this lovely thread for now and, gingers tightly crossed, I will join you again one day. Thanks so much for the support and company and wishing you all the best for scrummy JS bubbas Smile

NovaArt3mis · 17/08/2017 13:59

So sorry to hear that elbi, it's really heartbreaking. Take care of yourself, it's such a difficult thing to go through.

There is a thread somewhere on MN about preparing for the practicalties of a mc/mmc that I found very helpful first time round.

Hope to see you back with the JSers when you're ready Flowers
