Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 48th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 47th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 61st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread <a class="break-all" href="//onwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2588689-we-re-still-teething-trying-to-wean-and-our-babies-just-won-t-go-to-sleep-when-we-re-trying-to-js-for-another-one-it-s-just-mumming-no-11" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Did you get hold of them?

FuzzyOwl · 23/08/2017 11:37

Scan tomorrow now. GX.

SofiePendragon · 23/08/2017 14:36

Gx fuzzy

I've seen my midwife. Heard the heart beat which was nice - 160bpm. She didn't seem too worried about the itching but she did take a blood test to check it out. Should hear tomorrow if there's any concerns.

FuzzyOwl · 23/08/2017 15:06

Glad to hear that Sofie and hope all is fine.

I'm not really feeling very optimistic about this pregnancy now. At least I will know tomorrow. Thanks for the support.

NovaArt3mis · 23/08/2017 15:07

Gx fuzzy, sorry you're having to deal with the stress and anxiety of this.

Aw that's nice sofie, I've still not heard a heartbeat (but saw it at dating scan).

tri I enjoyed your Simpsons reference a few days back.

Seeing my mum tonight for the first time since I got noticeably rounder in the midsection. Oh and had my first unwanted belly pat yesterday!

justtheonethen · 23/08/2017 15:10

Had the funniest thing today- I'll raise you a pat to a stomach kiss......from my cleaner Shock. Fucking weird and I had to go out as it made me so uncomfortable Grin

FuzzyOwl · 23/08/2017 15:16

A stomach kiss?! Shock I would not have liked that at all. Did you say anything?

Thanks Nova.

justtheonethen · 23/08/2017 15:43

I just stood with my mouth open in horror for what felt like ages then left Grin. It was super weird. Especially as I haven't told her, think she must have seen the scan pic. Very weird.

justtheonethen · 23/08/2017 15:44

Ooh how lovely to hear the hb sofie Smile

NovaArt3mis · 23/08/2017 16:42

Oh wow, that is weird! DH is the only stomach kisser allowed.

The pat actually came from my best friend so I jokingly said "Everyone gets one free pat in 9 months, you've used yours very early!" after she'd done it hah.

Viroids, my nipples are sooo itchy and I just noticed a bit of dried on yellow (colostrum already?) what should I use to relieve?

justtheonethen · 23/08/2017 16:50

I'm also getting super dry itchy nipples. Oh the glamour! No idea what to do though.

That's brilliant, I'm stealing that line! Smile

SofiePendragon · 23/08/2017 22:02

Just and Nova last time I had itchy nipples I (eventually) realised it was my bra - I had a couple with lace that was scratching them and a couple with a seam that was sitting right on the nipple. I switched to ones that were totally smooth inside and that sorted it.

justtheonethen · 23/08/2017 23:21

Done that sofie but still the same. Annoying.

NovaArt3mis · 24/08/2017 05:15

Yeah mine are all smooth inside too. Then again I'm ready to burst out of these new ones so I'll need to buy more soon.

justtheonethen · 24/08/2017 08:06

Good luck today fuzzy x

SofiePendragon · 24/08/2017 09:11

Yes, good luck Fuzzy!

For sore nipples, it might be worth looking at some of the nipple creams for breastfeeding?

pretzelpieces · 24/08/2017 12:34

nova and tri I also enjoyed the 'boo urns' reference Grin it's something I say as well!

sofie how lovely to hear the heartbeat.

What time is your scan fuzzy? Thinking of you today and keeping everything crossed.

My nipples have been crusty since finished breastfeeding nearly a month ago... Maybe it's a pregnancy thing instead.

TriJo · 24/08/2017 14:03

Mine have been ok and it's around 5-6 weeks since I stopped breastfeeding - but my milk dried up incredibly quickly, it was almost completely gone by around 10 weeks and if I try to hand express now I get a tiny drop from right boob and nothing from leftie. I didn't leak at all though when I was pregnant with my son and even found it difficult to express colostrum on day 1.

FuzzyOwl · 24/08/2017 16:16

Thanks everyone and all ok. Big relief although I made an idiot of myself in front of the consultant with my nervous chatter Blush but so pleased the baby is doing well that I'm focusing on that instead.

If nipples are sore, lanisoh is brilliant.

justtheonethen · 24/08/2017 16:31

I'm so so so relieved! Yay for tinyfuzz Star

justtheonethen · 24/08/2017 16:32

Or miniowl?!

TriJo · 24/08/2017 16:35

So relieved for you Fuzzy :)

NovaArt3mis · 24/08/2017 16:44

That's brilliant news fuzzy

Was thinking lansinoh but it's quite pricey so wanted a recommendation first.

SofiePendragon · 24/08/2017 21:00

Fantastic news fuzzy

I used lanisoh when breastfeeding but found it quite messy (it will stain your bra if you don't use a pad) and didn't really find it helped much. Lots of people swear by it though and I had severely damaged nipples so it may have just been that nothing would have helped. I resorted to just going topless when at home for a while.

I can get a little colostrum out if I give my boobs a hard squeeze. I'm planning to try and get some stored closer to delivery this time, just in case of issues.

My GP phoned about my blood tests and itching earlier. Liver tests are fine but he wants to repeat them in a week along with one extra one to keep an eye on it.
