GMM, love the website - have spent an age playing Countdown and Family Fortunes. It is addictive!

10 weeks - hope your dh got back and you were able to relax.

1b3 - hope you have a lovely weekend

Liath - cannot beieve ParcelForce. It is an utter joke. Hope you get it sorted.

Have had a lovely evening so far. Got home and as dh was working from home today, he collected Becky, so I have done bugger all since 5.00! Also just spoken to my folks who are on a trip around New Zealand. So lovely to hear from them.

Now we are going to embark on a Thai takeaway!!

Dh cannot get over the size of my norks - up from a B to a D! I think he needs to get out more as well!

CaptainDippy · 09/02/2007 20:59

Evening ladies - I am tiiiiiiiiired - hoping beyond hope that the DD's sleeeeeeeep tonight ......

Nothing much to report in DippyLand - Still flat-out, manic and all that.

@ ParcelForce leaving the package in your wheelybin Liath - How awful, hoping it can be sorted ok.

Bean is VERY active tonight - Needing hot chocolate pronto .....

EllieKwithaHUGEbump · 09/02/2007 21:15

Opted for two glasses of wine - dh home and made curry - now full and feeling guilty so off to drink lots of milk and go to bed!

EllieK - have a wild weekend nudge nudge!

CaptainDippy - hope the girls sleep tonight - sending good sleep vibes (((((sleeeeeepppp))))

I am quite happy for parcelforce to leave stuff in my recycling bin or round side of house - but has never gone missing before - or if they leave a card you can get the parcel delivered to your local post office for 50p so you don't have to stay in - depends on whether your post office is easy to get to!

Its windy here today - beans at lunchtime and curry for tea

Bump def grown alot this week

Must go to bed now - dh playing golf in the morning - pray for snow!!!

CaptainDippy · 09/02/2007 22:28

10 weeks- sending you snow vibes .... [[[[snooooooow]]]]]

Have a "good" weekend Ellie - What are you like!!!!!?

Reeeeally should go to bed now .......

Birdiebump · 10/02/2007 08:31

Good morning - nice to do the first post of the day rather than the last!

Feeling a lot better now - off into Exeter to try and sort out some money (and maybe fit in a little shopping and a burger - been fancying one for a couple of days now). DH is at a motorbike show all day tomorrow so I'm going to enjoy my child-free time today.

GMM - loved your shopping stories yesterday!

1B3 - that was the cutest photo I've seen in a long time - she is absolutely adorable.

Captain Dippy - hope you had a good night's sleep - I did for my standards - only waking at about 5am instead of 3am.....

EllieK - !!!!!

10weeks - any snow to prevent the dreaded golf???

maveta · 10/02/2007 09:05

Morning everyone! What has got into us lately? We used to be right ol´ chatterboxes and now there is aaaaages between posts. You aren´t all off having lives now are you??!

Raining and grey here which suits my plans of doing nothing all day down to the ground

DH insisted on me sleeping propped up again last night (had tried a couple of nights lying down as I hate feeling like an invalid and taking up more than half the bed with cushions) and I slept like an angel. So I think it´s definitely the position for me.

Hope you all have a fab day x

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 10/02/2007 09:26

Morning all.

V quiet again on here.

EllieK, I don't know where you find the energy! Just climbing the stairs finishes me off let alone any action once we get to the top of them!

Birdie, hope you enjoy your trip in to Exeter.

10 weeks, hope it snowed.

CD - hope you had a good nights' sleep.

Feel rough as a badgers arse today. B had croupy cough last night so a bit of a broken night. Also my glands under my arm are up and sore, so all in all feel cack.
Not much planned today or tomorrow for that matter!

Right, better get on. See you later ladies. xx

10weeksandcounting · 10/02/2007 09:41

Morning

No snow - dh gone and my boys have created what can only be described as a spiders web with a huge ball of string across the playroom - with piles of stuff in it - hideous mess but am trying very hard to ignore it! Feeling stressed out and dh not back for 3 hours. Its okay when they are playing nicely but when the fighting starts its awful - also very demanding when they want something but ignore me when I ask them to do something gggrrrr! Pokemon on tv which ds1 loves so will switch it off if he is too horrible. Really I just want to go back to bed!

Off to do some online window shopping!

flumppootle · 10/02/2007 09:54

Morning

Have a good weekend Eliie

Sospl you sound exhausted, dont envy your broken nights sleep have a restful day and enjoy some pampering.

10 weeks - hope your dcs dont play you up this morning whilst your dh is at golf. I also want to say a HUGE thankyou to you for the Jlewis promotion code. I ordered some baby things yesterday and got my £10 off so THANKYOU

Have a good day out in Exeter Birdiebump and enjoy that burger

Maveta - lol at sleeping on pillow mountain have a restful day too.

WO - that was SO cute of your dh - awww just wait until he sees your own little bean, mine just dissolves and wont hand them over for me to cuddle

GMM psml at shopping stories and thought of you when I tramped to school in my wellies - no high heels for me dont know how you do it.

Liath and GGRRRR at parcelforce you must be fizzing. Roll on monday so you can sort it out. Not what you need at this stage of pg is it?

All well here and boring day ahead. Not much planned apart from doing the shopping and waiting to see if anyone is going to view the house.
Have a good weekend all

runnyhabbit · 10/02/2007 09:57

Morning ladies

Snow has now gone, but at least the roads aren't so bad. It took dh 5hours to travel about 100 metres by Newport last night

GMM - loving the games esp Blockbusters

Liath - hope you get everything sorted with your parcel. We've had stuff pushed through the cat flap before now

Not much else to report. Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

8wks & 3 days to go...........

weeonion · 10/02/2007 11:20

good morning folks. through in eburgh today - the place is awash with welsh rugby fans! dragged dp out of bed at 7am to come through and help me pack new resources to be posted out! he is not a happy bunny - ah well! get used to lack ogf lie-ins i say!

hope you all have lovely days / weekends and yep - we are alot quieter these days!

Katy44 · 10/02/2007 13:48

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the messages about my tummy pains, they've gone now, and as long as I know they're normal I'm not worried
liath - exactly the same thing happened with me, with parcelforce again, I think. They put it in our wheelie (non-recycling) bin, luckily it wasn't bin day (did yours not realise when he saw all the bins were out at the side of the road??) but I thought it was pretty disgusting and unhygenic!!
flumpootle - I'll view yours if you view mine! We haven't had any interest recently
EllieK, enjoy your weekend!

EllieKwithaHUGEbump · 10/02/2007 14:48

hi all, just a quick stop by!

it has been quiet on here at weekends lately but you're all chatterboxes during weekdays, the last thread ran from friday night at 8.30 to thursday afternoon at 4 and had over 500 posts!!!!!! i admit, some of these were the babble of myself, katy and wo, but not all

not gone quite as planned so far but we have talked some things through which needed to be done. oh well, will just have to make up for it tonight

hope everyone is having a good weekend and kids aren't driving you too mad, it's the one benefit to being a single parent, when matthew goes to his dads for the night/day, i'm back to being childfree! that and not having to consult anyone else before making decisions

YvieE · 10/02/2007 14:56

Hi Ladies,

Hope you are all well. Internet is still down, it's the router thats the problem. Whenever I'm at my parents I try to log and see what you've all been up to.
I'm definitely going to fix it next week.
Take care of yourselves and your families.

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 10/02/2007 20:24

Hi all. God, where is everyone?
10 weeks, hope the ds's didn't dive you mad today.

EllieK, hope you are having a pleasant evening!

Hello to everyone else, hope you have had a good day.

Still feeling rough and Becky seems under the weather as well poor love.
She still managed to spin one of our poor cats around whilst watching Dancing on Ice this evening. Poor sod!
Test drove a Picasso today and loved it, so now looking to buy one as soon as we find a suitable deal. Really excited.

Well, I shall stop rambling on. See you all sometime!!

CaptainDippy · 10/02/2007 20:51

Evening - Just popping in - feeling exhausted - v.busy day!! Took DD1 out on lots of errands this morning and stopped off at friends for lunch then went swimming with DH and DD's, tea, bath and bed for them, not me - )

They slept!! (again) - til 7.30am, much more reasonable - they also went to bed really well tonight - so hopefully this will be another good night!!!!?

Poop to feeling really cack SOSPL - hope you and B feel better soon and you have a better night tonight!!

Are you still alive 10weeks!!!!!? Really hope you got through the time with your boys and DH made it up to you big time when he got home!!!

. I am feeling a bit worried - really bad pain all across one side of my bump - Thinking I've either pulled a muscle or done myself some damage. I called our local maternity unit and they said it would be best to see someone - Only problem is, they are shut and I'd have to drive for 45 mins / an hour to get to next nearest unit - 2 hours travel time and that's not even with seeing someone!! Not to mention getting someone willing to babysit at short notice, possibly until 12am!!!! It's not our units fault, it's the crappy government; but DH and I are in such a quandry - we've decided to wait to see how the pain is tomrrow - May be our unit will be open then!??? Feeling and about that. Any ideas you guys????? What would you do??

AngeG · 10/02/2007 21:52

Evening all,

CD - sounds a bit scary. Can you still feel baby moving around? It was a long time since you posted so I expect you've decided what to do...but if it were me and I could still feel good movement and no bleeding and pain reasonably manageable I might wait til tomorrow, otherwise I think I would go tonight. Difficult decision to make though and that your local unit isn't open. Thinking of you hun. Sending [[[hugs]]] xx

WestCountryLass · 10/02/2007 21:58

CD, I would deffo go to get checked out, even if you had to take your DD with you. It probably is just a pulled muscle but if it is not and delaying a hospital visit caused a problem it would weigh heavy on you kwim?

AngeG · 10/02/2007 22:06

Can't belive how quiet it has been today.

SOSPL - Hope you and Becky are feeling better soon. The Picasso is a lovely car, I had one until I wrote it off in an accident 2yrs ago, the car really protected me well. Hope you find a good deal soon

Hi Yvie good to hear from you. Hope you get your router fixed soon. We miss you.

EllieK - Hope your evening is going well

Katy - glad the pains have gone off now.

Hi Weeonion Runnyhabbit, flumppootle hope you're all ok.

Liath - Hope you get everything sorted out with your parcel on Monday.

Birdiebump - Glad you're feeling better.

10weeks - Hope DSs were well behaved.

Maveta - Keep up with the pillow mountain...it sounds like it works.

Took Jake to Playshack today with Allen, was good for them to run round together, whilst I sat drinking hot chocolate Although when I got up I was very stiff and SPD is pretty sore this evening. It seems to be getting worse again think it must be because bump is getting bigger.

I've got another growth scan on Monday, looking forward to seeing baby again, but a little wary of the growth.

Night Night xx

AngeG · 10/02/2007 22:08

Evening WCL, very well worded. I have to agree with you. I have been thinking about it as I was typing and think it's always best to err on the side of caution.

CaptainDippy · 10/02/2007 22:38

Thank you WCL and Ange - Have been feeling lots of movement and no bleeding, so have decided to stay home tonight, but will definitely attend Unit tomorrow if pain hasn't eased. It is still bad now - hurts esp when I bend or cough - not great as I actually have quite a bad cough right now. Will post more tomrorow.....

AngeG - You are just lovely!!

WestCountryLass · 10/02/2007 22:53

Thanks Ange Didn't want to be a drama queen or over react but you kwim. Yes, best to err on side of caution.

Hope everything is OK CD, let us know how you get on tomorrow

Can I just add that I saw one of PG friends today, she is a week more PG than me and she was saying how she could not believe she just had 5 and a half weeks left. It then dawned on me that I have only 6 1/2 weeks left

Where has the time gone and why am I not more organised????????

muminabigtumi · 11/02/2007 08:25

Morning girls!

CD - hope you managed to get some good rest last night and that baby has been reassuringly wiggling about. I'm sure if you can get checked out today it wil put your mind at rest - I think in your situation I would have done the same as you. It's funny isn't it but you forget sometimes about your other little ones being inthe equation. Phil actually said to me yesterdy afternoon - perghaps we should have a plan in place for what we wil do with James if your waters suddenly break....couldn't beleive he was actually thinking of these things!

SOSPL - Hope you guys are feeling a bit brighter this morning. Yey to the Picasso - our neighbours and also my Boss have got one and its really nice...we looked at them too but ended up getting a slightly better deal on the Meriva (athough I don't think the seating options are as flexible as with the Picasso)...I don't know if you have an Arnold Clark Motor store near you but I would throughly recommend them after our experience with them getting the Meriva...we got a 55 plate with low mileage and in really great nick, lots of extras eg air con, tinted windows etc for £7999 and it was all done really quickly....just thought I'd say - it was the first time I hadn't got a car from an actual dealer IYKWIM and I was a bit wary at first.

Not a great deal to report here, I got a lovely lie in yesterday and Phil took us into his office to show James where his Daddy works - James was mega excited as there are diggers and grit spreaders and lots of trucks at the Depot where Phils offices are - every 2 and a half year old boys dream and he's not stopped talking about it since! Went to see my Dad and his fiance - Dad has a tact chip missing and told me my hair was very "lesbian" - needless to say I was less than impressed...lol
Phil got the stuff out of the loft yesterday so I have my car seat and bases to clean and tinker about with, just want to sort the clothes storage situation out really as at present I have no where to put baby's clothes apart from a clear plastic storage box under the cot.
WCL -I too can't beleive how the time has flown and when we are talking of weeks in single figures it is scary yet exciting at the same time.

Maveta - I used your cushion mountain tip last night and slept better than I have in ages so Thank you!!!

AngeG - your afternoon at soft play sounded good - might see if I can persuade Phil to come with us today - I know he would love to see James playing if he would only just come with us!

EllieK - hope you had a good evening...v - have wanted a good seeing too every day for the past 4 and either Phil has been too tired or I have gone to bed first and been asleep by the time he got in bed...

MIL has kindly agreed to have James next Sat so we are going to have our Valentines meal then as Wed night isn't particularly good for us to get out. I can't beleive he is actually taking me out!!!

Hope everyone else is well - GMM you had me laughing with your lunchtime antics...I can also add my extremem annoyance to the 1million carrier bags for a Tesco online shop....

Well mind is blank of everything else. Must go and tackle the Reucroft Ironing Mountain!!!
X

maveta · 11/02/2007 09:47

CD - hope whatever it was has settled down today and that you are feeling okay. Let us know x

MIABT - what a lovely day for James, his face must have been a picture! And at tactless dads. Glad the cushion mountain worked, I have to say it´s very comfy although it is a bit odd if dh and I are having a chat just before we go to sleep as I can´t see his face at all and end up talking to the wardrobe
