I don't know what I'm doing but seen the message saying another thread was needed. I don't know what to add to this but though.

Erm. I'm Derek btw. 35 week on Thursday and due 6/10/16

Sorry but I have no idea what I'm doing 😂

I'm also fed up - for me it's the combination of canny daggers, leg cramps, SPD, and heartburn. I'm uncomfortable and miserable and DH gets to just lie in bed all comfy and go to sleep as soon as his head hits the pillow while I toss and turn trying to find any position that works. And it's too hot!

Sorry for the rant - I'm really fed up today. Sorry to hear that others are suffering too.

ChatterNatterer · 07/09/2016 06:12

Krum I feel exactly the same! I am so grumpy and tired!

Been awake since 4 with heartburn after finally dropping off about 12ish - and have been listening to DH snore his head off for 2 hours while thinking of ways to shut him the fcuk up! Argh!!! I'd go and sleep in the spare room but the bed is currently being used as storage for my maternity clothes as they won't fit in my wardrobe - ARGH!!!!!

Afreshstartplease · 07/09/2016 07:43

Think I was up about five times last night. Then was very nearly sick when I got up this morning.

Fed up. Sure I'll sleep loads more than this once baby is born!

34 weeks today

DerekSprechenZeDick · 07/09/2016 08:23

I'm also fed up even though I've only technically been pregnant mentally for 8 week Grin

The heart burn is ridiculous now. I've had to resort to drinking gaviscon.

I bought the hosp bag but can't remember what I need to take. Should probably google that.

The braxton hicks are hurting. I end up doubled over and making a chew baca like sound when they hit

I'm on my way to work, just today and tomorrow then I'm done.

I got a really strong bh last night lay on the sofa. I tried to get up to stop it but couldn't. So I let out some weird yelp and rolled off onto the floor

Attractive

Blueskygirl30 · 07/09/2016 09:22

Oh good, can I join in with the feeling fed up?

35+5 here and really fed up with feeling like a hippo and getting horrible hip pain if I do too much in the day. But then feeling bad if I've not done enough around the house due to feeling exhausted. Also super fed up with gestational diabetes and feeling like all I can eat is sodding eggs. I'm going to pack my hospital bag in the next couple of days and I'm going to buy some nice biscuits to pack in there for as soon as the baby is born (yes, I may well be dropping is units crumbs all over his head...don't judge me 🙈)

Blueskygirl30 · 07/09/2016 09:24

*biscuit crumbs, not 'is unit crumbs'

Figgygal · 07/09/2016 11:09

36 week appointment complete head still engaged 4/5ths, not back to back anymore yay. She did weigh me but nothing was said so sitting in Starbucks now consuming sugary goods I would not survive GD im relying on sugar to get me through.

Last day of work tomorrow hoorah!!

I really don't think this baby is coming anytime soon unfortunately

ChatterNatterer · 07/09/2016 11:54

CakeBrewFlowersfor everyone suffering!

Last day at work on Friday! Cannot bloody wait! Got a full day of meetings tomorrow that I could really do without - especially as the first meeting is me delivering a 3 hour training session Angry (irrationally angry that I have to actually do my job! Lol)

DerekSprechenZeDick · 07/09/2016 14:15

Erm

I have sharp shooting pains in the vaginal region. The fuck are those?! Also dull ache in lower back and Arse cheek.

Welcome to my world Derek

These are scientifically known as fanny daggers

DerekSprechenZeDick · 07/09/2016 14:26

That is the perfect name for them. They have just started about half hour ago.

Move just finished work and I'm walking like I've shit my self!

Last day tomorrow!

OP posts:
Afreshstartplease · 07/09/2016 14:42

I've had them for weeks so think yourself lucky! The only escape I have is lying down as I assume it moves babies head off my bloody cervix!

DerekSprechenZeDick · 07/09/2016 14:48

Is that what causes it?

I think she's head down, pops up to side for a bit then heads back down.

The movements she makes armt comfortable for me, does feel like she's a Muay Thai boxer with 8499 limbs

OP posts:
Afreshstartplease · 07/09/2016 15:00

I think so

I've seen other people on other forums refer to it as dilation pain though but seems to be Americans who are actually having their cervix checked regularly and know they are dilating

DerekSprechenZeDick · 07/09/2016 16:01

I'm laid down now in bed with a fan on me.

I will probably fall asleep. Work writes me off.

Blue sky YES to being sick of eating sodding eggs. DH has promised to take me for a big fat pizza and red wine as soon as she's here. I think I might be more excited about that than the baby Wink.

35 weeks tomorrow, so max 4 weeks to go (induction at 39 weeks due to gdm). Or two weeks to go if my waters spontaneously burst again at 37 weeks!

On the raspberry leaf tea now, I swear it was the reason I had such a good birth last time.

Sorry everyone is feeling so uncomfortable. No fanny daggers here but endless BH and weeing 10 times a night. Bring on the babies!

AngharadTheSplendid · 07/09/2016 17:06

Fresh, yep I'm living in the US atm and we do indeed get the dubious privilege of having cervix checked at every appointment Hmm

climbingcheesecake · 07/09/2016 18:18

hello! its been ages since I've posted - I've just read through loads of the last thread and this one so I am sort of up to date.

Good to hear that there have been babies already! I am hoping mine stays put for a couple more weeks at least as I want to enjoy some mat leave.

It's been a glorious month of wonderful pregnancy treats - haemorrhoids, constipation, wind and heartburn.

looking forwards to what the final month has to offer...

DerekSprechenZeDick · 07/09/2016 23:14

I can't sleep at all tonight. Sharp pains in my back and bad heart burn. Rennies aren't doing a thing

OP posts:
ChatterNatterer · 07/09/2016 23:34

Hubby still not back from his work lads curry night - this is really helping me fall off to sleep so I get some rest before my 4am wide awake I have been having lately! Ugh men! Angry

Nickname1980 · 08/09/2016 02:17

Total pregnancy insomnia over here, too!

I think I might be doing too much in the daytime and should take it easy. But then i lie awake, mega uncomfortable, all night and can't sleep!

Argh!

April241 · 08/09/2016 06:00

Fed up!!!!!!!

32+5 today and I actually just want to cry, I swear my belly is growing by the second. I'm not comfortable in any position at all now.

Hurry up and be here 36/37 weeks already!!!!!

Kariana · 08/09/2016 07:12

Angharad, a good reminder there for me to get some of that tea! Hoping it will help with the birth.

Really hoping today will be cooler. I've not struggled in the heat up to now, but suddenly realising why everyone has been so miserable. Our old house was, well... old. It was a 300 year old stone mid terrace, thick walls and small windows in most of the rooms which meant the lounge was permanently cool even on the hottest of days. Used to hate that it was so dark and cold, especially come wintertime. How I'm missing it now we're in our big modern, boiling hot new house!! It's been almost impossible for me to get on with the unpacking or cleaning that I want to do. Yesterday I spent quite a lot of time having showers to try and cool off!

Derek heart burn is awful isn't it. I'm living off gaviscon tablets at night, much better at shifting it than rennies.

No fanny daggers here yet, baby is still traverse, which according to our first antenatal class last night is unusual for a first baby. Need him to turn soon!

Newmum90 · 08/09/2016 07:39

Another vote fof gaviscon > rennie here.

Ive also been having braxton hicks. Hoping its a sign things are moving in the right direction!
