Sorry but I have no idea what I'm doing 😂

I must have been up atleast ten times last night for a wee. Ridiculous. Then I was wide awake 5-630 and then my alarm went off at 730

Knackered

Also have bad pain in arse cheek today on top of the fanny daggers. Don't see it being a productive day here

LillianFullStop · 08/09/2016 11:25

Fresh I have been the same the last few days! Am up 5-6-ish too and I fall asleep until my 7.30 alarm.

Is it baby keeping you awake? I find she can sleep through pees in the middle of the night but any pee after 5am she wakes up and decides to have a party in there so it keeps me up for a while before I can get back to sleep. 3 more weeks until maternity leave and I can kill that 7.30am alarm!!

Afreshstartplease · 08/09/2016 11:41

It's not baby no, he generally is most active early evening and when I first get in bed. It's just I wake up constantly and need a wee every time!

DerekSprechenZeDick · 08/09/2016 20:48

I'm having one because I didn't find out while 27 week so need to make sure she's growing correctly as I drank and smoked a lot

This will be 3rd scan I've had

DerekSprechenZeDick · 08/09/2016 21:08

I have pain in my right side. Think it's pelvis.

Makes me want to curl up and put my knees to my chest.

I just built my pram Grin

I want another scan!

elliej83 · 08/09/2016 22:35

Can anyone add me to the Facebook group? I'm not so good at checking in on the thread.

Had an overnight hospital stay last week but all been good this week. Midwife appointment next week to do the birthday plan and also the health visitor is coming to the house. Am really nervous about that. Has anyone had there's yet? I feel like we are on show. Cup of tea and nice biscuits needed!

climbingcheesecake · 09/09/2016 07:19

heartburn is horrible. Gaviscon is my saviour, although I think it tastes rank - I have tablets and the gel stuff to mix it up a bit.

ChatterNatterer · 09/09/2016 07:29

Ellie I had the HV come round, she was really nice and we had a good chat, she's much nicer than any of my midwives Smile

Kariana · 09/09/2016 08:32

Derek I haven't heard anyone use the word while in that context since my grandma died a few years ago. I still miss her loads. Don't know if you meant to use it or if it was actually an autocorrect but I always found it a lovely expression. Congratulations on starting maternity as well!

Fresh I'm the same at night, waking up every time I need to wee or roll over. A good night's sleep is now considered to be one where I fall asleep fairly quickly initially and after each wake up. It's not really a good sleep though as I'm still exhausted when the alarm goes off for dh to get up for work.

Figgygal · 09/09/2016 08:53

First day of maternity leave already bored got some jobs to do later God I hope this baby comes soon.

DerekSprechenZeDick · 09/09/2016 09:05

Kar not an autocorrect. Just how us Yorkshire folk speak. Didn't realise it's was usual. Guess 9 while 5 when on about opening hours isn't usual either 😂

First day for me too. I've taken child to school and I'm walking up to my mates house. I'm knackered and have heavy pain

Afreshstartplease · 09/09/2016 09:18

I'm just back from school run

Last night wasn't too bad think I was up four times and awake for about an hour 4-5am then up at 730 to get DC ready for school

School run really wears me out. I'm currently trying to only go out and walk anywhere once a day (don't drive) but today I have to go out mid morning too Sad dreading it. We had to walk a bit fast this morning which really rammed up the daggers!

Gonna have tea and toast I think and do some more kitchen cleaning

DerekSprechenZeDick · 09/09/2016 16:17

Anyone have constant pressure in the vagina like something is going to fall out?!

I'm walking home and it feels like there something there waiting to pop or drop.

Also having a watery discharge, I'm hoping this is normal near end of pregnancy shit

TaffetaMuttonfudge · 09/09/2016 16:48

Just had my final growth scan and all spot on. Now back home dreaming about eating nice food again once I've had the baby (diagnosed with GD so been on a restricted diet - plus side have lost a stone in the last 6 weeks despite growing bump!).

Derek - it's all delightful isn't it? Just had to waddle across the hospital car park wondering if the baby was just going to fall out with a combination of fanny daggers and pressure. Don't even get me started on the discharge.... Hmm Quite normal though as I understand it!

Kariana · 09/09/2016 18:34

No experience as this is my first but I hear it's a normal late pregnancy thing Derek, at least when baby is being well behaved and has got their head down. When baby is having a comfy lie down in there and waving their legs above their head you don't get fanny daggers, just a lot of weird lumps sticking out your side Hmm According to the midwife this is unusual for a first baby as there isn't usually room for them to do it by this stage.

Oh and 9 while 5 is definitely not standard through the country. My grandma had a proper Lancashire accent so it's clearly a northern thing, though only in certain parts of the north! Grin

climbingcheesecake · 09/09/2016 19:13

also been having watery discharge for a few weeks now Derek. Think its normal.

Has anyone had their strep b swab yet? I had it the other day and it was so painful, and had pain wee-ing after for a few hours and some bleeding. I wasn't warned that this could happen, I don't know what the midwife did.

TaffetaMuttonfudge · 09/09/2016 19:26

I've not been offered a strep b swab - is that part of the standard testing?

Afreshstartplease · 09/09/2016 19:29

Never had a strep b swab in any pregnancy?

DerekSprechenZeDick · 09/09/2016 20:43

Hasn't been mentioned to me eithe r

OP posts:
Northernlight22 · 09/09/2016 22:03

No strep b swab mentioned here either!

Definitely agree with the pressure down below though, I really don't want to deal with that for the next month or so 😫
