I don't know what I'm doing but seen the message saying another thread was needed. I don't know what to add to this but though.

Erm. I'm Derek btw. 35 week on Thursday and due 6/10/16

Me either lillian, thought something was happening as I started with cramping at 12.30 but it's been so inconsistent that I doubt it now.

Bloody hurts when it happens though!

I thought I had a high pain threshold but that last contraction was vicious. Unless that really is the result of one RLT tea I had yesterday! Ouch!

Contractions are 20 mins apart... hoping this is it.. but really don't know if I can't cope with 3days to a week of it like you had previously fresh!

I am getting a sweep on Friday - not sure who asked but I asked(begged) for it early

Hi. Sorry not been on for a while. Congratulations to all those who have had their babies. Lovely to hear good news.
I'm in the fed up of being pregnant club. I'm 40 + 5 now. I had a sweep on Friday which she said went well but not had any contractions. I think my mucus plug has gone.
I'm really bored!

Managed to fall asleep eventually at about 3.30am Redken I'm so tired!!!

Feeling achy today prob from tossing and turning last night Confused sweep this afternoon - not looking forward to it but I'll try anything to get things going at this point! Will try to get a nap in before my appointment in case it's successful I don't want things to kick off on a day I've had 4 hours sleep!!

Positivity we must have the same due date. I'm in the same boat and had a sweep of Friday too which apparently went well but no baby. My plug definitely went yesterday (it was disgusting!!) and was accompanied by lots of cramps so I thought I was making progress but nothing today.

Didn't get to sleep til after 4am last night due to extreme restless leg and the excitement of thinking I was in labour, so that's not helping my mood today!

So sick of being pregnant now! The thought of waiting another week for induction is depressing.

Having lots of stomach cramps and back pain this afternoon. Don't know if I am having contractions or not (does this make me sound stupid?)

derry no not stupid at all, I feel the same - I don't know what's a contraction and what's just a stomach cramp. Made even more difficult to judge by the fact that the cramps are a bit stronger every day. But for me they only seem to come in the evening and then disappear by morning. Angry

Thanks Garlic. Glad to know I'm not the only one. Cramps are every 10 minutes or so all afternoon. Fingers crossed this is it!

Redken it was a fail Sad only 1/2 cm dilated so they couldn't even do a sweep. Was hoping they could and I'd be in labour by mid-week.

Garlicky I get cramps just in the evening too. Not sure if it's the fact that it's evening or it's because I drink my RLT in the evening.

Garlicky i've been getting a few cramps but don't think it is anything yet and often it has just been wind. Are you booked in for an induction?
I've just had a curry and hoping for a shag later. Anything to get things going!!! I've walked over 5 miles today as well to try and get it moving. Sad

Turns out my 'tightenings' last night were the start of labour - baby boy Tallblue born this afternoon! Woke this morning to mild contractions 2 minutes apart....escalated quite quickly.
Managed to get an epidural this time- amazing!! Although I feel the undercarriage pain is going to hit me hard when all the pain relief has worn off...
DH was convinced it was going to be a girl, he still looks pretty shocked Smile
