Hugh I'm the same that's why I am keeping to myself at work, don't if I'll snap at someone for nothing lol

x

Cloeycat · 01/09/2016 14:24

Hugh I was exactly the same, and we didn't even have an argument it was just a discussion about whos family we were going to for Christmas and I cried for about an hour and just felt really sad all night. Even feel sad now thinking about it!

Mummytobe83 · 01/09/2016 15:11

Scan went great yesterday. Not a great picture but definitely a baby with a heartbeat in there. Xx

mummy Glad to hear you had a great scan, pic is lovely can still pick out some detail Smile

5 days to go for mine, we are dying to tell F&Fs but are waiting until Tuesday Grin

Mummytobe83 · 01/09/2016 15:29

Thank you Carolann. I am trying to remember who had their scans yesterday but I hope you all had good news.

Tutuloves · 01/09/2016 16:17

Managed to get an earlier 20 week scan date for 10th October so a week before my original one of 17th so it was definitely worth an ask!!

Carolann8584 · 01/09/2016 16:36

Well done Tutu will you be finding out the sex? Smile

Tutuloves · 01/09/2016 16:41

Definitely Carolann, will you? I'm too impatient not to know.
Lovely news on all these positive scans btw.

alphabook · 01/09/2016 18:05

Oh no sounds horrible Dusty, hope you feel better soon.

Congrats mummy!

Love the word prangry! I seemed to have a hormone surge at about 13 weeks where I was crying for literally no reason!

Cloeycat · 01/09/2016 18:58

I have yoga in half an hour. Just got home from work and found my OH has put my yoga pants, which were folded on the floor at the end of our bed with the t shirt I wanted to wear in the wash cos he was trying to be helpful... Struggling internally not to get vv cross!

Carolann8584 · 01/09/2016 19:17

tutu yeah I'm too impatient. 12 weeks tomorrow Grin

SuperDuperJezebel · 01/09/2016 19:21

Me too Carolann, can't wait for my private scan at 16+1 to find out the gender! 14 weeks tomorrow, Eek! The first person who hasn't been told asked if I was 'expecting' today. Not directly, fortunately, cos it's someone who always makes a bit of a... Fuss!

Tutuloves · 01/09/2016 19:45

Carolann have you had your scan yet? It seems you've been waiting for ages.
We've got a group holiday next weekend with friends (50 of us should be fun) and it's our wedding anniversary the week after,8 years and counting. With DD starting school as well I think Septmeber will fly by.

ItsMagicYouKnow · 01/09/2016 20:24

Evening all,

Come on for a little moan Smile

Can't wait to start feeling better (12+2). Just had a huge plate of carbonara, felt better for about 10 minutes and now I feel ravenous/nauseous again. It's ridiculous! Sympathy to anyone else still suffering in any way... hopefully we'll all come out on the other side of the tunnel soon!

In other news, we might have found THE boys' name (got a few girls' names on the table). Will be checking the ONS list tomorrow to make sure it's not too far up the list! Grin Anyone else currently in name negotiations? When I was expecting DS, we already had two names ready when he was conceived.

Butterpuff · 01/09/2016 20:44

itsmagic your organised. We were still discussing it on the way to register DD, who was over 3 weeks at the time!

I'm terrified again now have harmony test and another scan tomorrow afternoon. I hope it's looking better than it was Tuesday for little bean.

NameChange30 · 01/09/2016 20:56

Best of luck for tomorrow Butterpuff, I'll be thinking of you.

ItsMagic We have a name in mind (boy's name as that's what we think it is) but we're still going to shortlist one or two others, so we can see what suits the baby when he arrives Smile

Good luck Butter!

I think we've just agreed on a girls name... Well I think DH just doesnt really have strong feelings either way on anything so he's kind of letting me just suggest what I like.

LakeOfDreams · 01/09/2016 21:12

shameful face

I think I said hi on thread #1 then life with a crazy almost 11 month old took over!!

Lake
33
Edd was 4/3 now 9/3
Dc #3 #1 was stillborn Aug 14 at 40+10 and #2 is 11 months on sunday

So far things have been stressful!! went for 12 week scan at 11+4 and was pushed back by 5 days so at only 10+6 baby was 1mm too small for theme to do the measurements. Got the actual 12 week scan on Wednesday when I'll be 13+6 by the new dates which are hopefully right as apparently if they measure more than 14+2 the can't do all the measurements they need to.

My booking bloods showed some abnormal antibodies so after 6 more blood tests they've found that I have C antibodies. The only formal communication I've had is a letter from the hospital saying they'll monitor levels 4 weekly till 28 weeks then fortnightly after. I also got a letter from the national transfusion service that says I have C antibodies in my blood. I've done some research and it seems that the baby is at a risk of getting foetal anaemia specifically haemolytic disease of the foetus and newborn. We are hoping to get a consultant appointment as from my frantic googling it would seem there is no treatment if my levels rise other than delivering the baby or giving the foetus a blood transfusion!

The hospital requested DH provide some blood so hopefully we will hear soon, if not we have a consultant appointment in October anyway because of our obstetric history!!

Sorry for such a long essay off to catch up now!!

Fran03 · 01/09/2016 21:13

Haha I love prangry. I certainly am and most of it is aimed at my parents and in laws!

Got my scan tomorrow, have managed to forget about it mostly but now I am excited! Hope I sleep tonight.

Haven't posted for a while as I have been too tired to type but have kept up to date with all your posts. :-)

neonrainbow · 01/09/2016 21:17

Welcome lake!

I have my heart set on a girls name but boys names we are completely stumped. I started a thread in baby names about amazing boys names if anyone needs inspiration :D

Dustycorners · 01/09/2016 21:22

Welcome back Fran and Lake. Lake, that sounds very stressful. I hope you get good medical advice and support.

Dustycorners · 01/09/2016 21:24

DS has a Welsh name so the twins will need Welsh names too. I think we have a girl's name we can agree on. And maybe a couple of options for boys' names. But it took us over a week to name DS after he was born!

NameChange30 · 01/09/2016 21:33

LakeOfDreams Hi and welcome back! Sorry you've had worrying blood test results and I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible x

Good luck to fran, kat, butterflies and anyone else having their 12 week scan tomorrow!
