I've been so spoilt the past few weeks as I'm a teacher and have had the summer holidays. Can't imagine facing the stampeding hoardes come September. Have a really heavy timetable next year so it's going to be interesting . However very proud of my sixth formers for great a level results today .

Esker - I'm with you there!!! I'm a teacher too and can't imagine feeling as nauseous as I do whilst teaching 30 8 year olds :/

I've had lots of frank bleeding through the night. Had some spotting a few days ago but this has been alot now. I've rang in sick to work as I'm meant to be in today, Saturday and Mon and Tues which means I wouldn't be able to be seen. Hoping the eatly pregnancy unit can see me today. Juat waiting for daylight so I can ring the midwives. It's so worry. Feeling a bit crampy too. Now I can't get back to sleep either.

Thinking of you Milky, hope you get seen early.

Theknittinggorilla I'm the same - not sure if lack of symptoms is due to body dealing with pregnancy hormones differently, or just because we're so distracted trying to chase DCs. My DD can use a potty/toilet fine but chooses to do a big toddler poo in her nappy for laughs so it can go up the back

I feel absolutely shattered today! I actually feel hungover and that I've only had a couple of hours sleep after a big night out.
I'm trying to motivate myself to get up and go tco work...

Does anyone have any tips for dealing with the exhaustion or do you just have to suck it up?

Strangely, I'm also really thirsty all the time.

topkitty I've found going to bed at a stupidly early hour the only solution, and I'm still exhausted, but it's better. I've been asleep before 9 the last 3 nights and it's definitely helped!

Hi ladies
Phones playing up and won't allow me to add myself to the new list
I am Due 30th March with DC #5 and I am so so sick literally all day and all night nausea and sickness, praying it gets better soon 😩

topkitty I've been really thirsty too. Don't remember this with the others. Am sure some of my symptoms are worsened by dehydration so am trying to drink loads of water

topkitty and gemsbok I have also been going to bed at a depressingly early hour! Still exhausted but I imagine id be even worse otherwise. Sometimes if I've not had anything on I've been having a 30 minute power nap when I get home from work which can be quite good.

I am also really thirsty. I've found drinking sparkling water helps - I think the bubbles are more refreshing/thirst quenching

I just tried ringing hospital to try again to register the pregnancy. No one answered but they have a voicemail suggesting sending an email with your details so I've done that now - hopefully I'll get a response!! Think I need to feel like something is actually happening in order to start processing that this is real!

Thanks for the tips ladies. I've been going to bed around 9pm but just still can't seem to get enough sleep. I guess I'll just have to suck it up.

It's good to hear I'm not the only one with the thirst! I was a bit about that. I think I'll try the sparkling water.

Good luck with getting an appointment marmite. That must be really frustrating. I'm counting down until my booking in appt with my midwife (still a couple of weeks to go).

Thanks topkitty, fx! I'm 6 weeks now so not ridiculously early to be contacting them I don't think??! Even just to have something to work towards would be good! when is your booking-in appointment? You're due just before me I think

I've got an appointment with my GP in an hour as I've had really bad pain on my left hand side since last night. I thought it was trapped wind at first, but it got worse overnight. It's painful to move about and I'm getting quite worried.
Has anyone else has this kind of pain?
