Hi Ladies, room for one more on the March 2017 thread??

Can't believe I'm on this thread after hanging around the TTC pages for 2 years! I found out I was pregnant literally the day before our first IVF appointment :-))
So it's been a loooooong few weeks, I've got pretty bad nausea and dizziness so pretty much lying on the sofa all day...I will have bedsores soon!

CountdownBegins · 20/07/2016 11:20

Thank you for the new thread! I'm hoping I'll get a chance to read through everything properly at some point but for now will have to make do with being a bit of a lurker!

DS is an August (2014) baby and I was actually really comfortable in the heat when I was huge with him. I usually hate feeling hot but it didn't seem to affect me. Hope that doesn't mean I'll be extra cold in the winter this time!

Freckles we're EDD buddies Grin

Updated list, with Newbies and weeks gone, cause I spent all day at work yesterday working on the formula (#geek) Allotment I've calculated you at 5+2 with an EDD of 20th March, not 4+0, so let me know if you need this changed?

SuperDuperJezebel · 20/07/2016 12:33

I went into the Fara Kids charity shop today and really struggled not to buy anything. They had an amazing Mamas and Papas travel system for £55! DH found a onesie today that I bought last time I was pregnant, which arrived the day after my MC, that says Born to Play for Scotland on it... So I guess we have one thing! Trying to be sensible until post 12 week scan.

ItsMagicYouKnow · 20/07/2016 12:36

Skip I'm a geek too! Excel? Well done and thanks!

Countdown Welcome and congrats! My DS is July 2014 so almost the same age. I didn't mind the heat too much last time either, well not more than usual (not a fan of the heat generally).

Freckles Congrats!! Dizzy and nauseous over here too!

ItsMagicYouKnow · 20/07/2016 12:41

Oh, and I haven't really bought anything yet (didn't buy a thing before 12 weeks last time), although I've been thinking "this will be nice for them to play with together" when buying for DS. We already have loads of clothes from last time (won't be finding out the sex again), just need a few more NB nappies (cloth) and perhaps a Moses basket/bedside crib that we borrowed last time. Anyway, plenty of time yet!

NameChange30 · 20/07/2016 12:45

Amazing work Skip

We bought a babygro when we were on holiday because it was cute and cheap, and we couldn't exactly go back to buy it later! But I'm not buying anything else until after my 12 week scan. After that anything goes! Grin

Still feeling pretty unpregnant, sore boobs, a bit tired and only mild nausea in the evenings. Seems like I'm getting off very lightly compared to the rest of you!

Hormones must be going completely bonkers mind as DH told me I'm unhinged today, seems he can't cope with preggo crying/anxiety, which has just made me cry more Sad

NameChange30 · 20/07/2016 12:47

Oh and I am SO TIRED today, it's hard to motivate myself to work at the best of times but especially at the moment! I am just counting down the hours until I can go home Sad

Can I join? Recently got my bfp - appointment with GP tomorrow morning to make it official! Unlike Dozygirl and some others I have quite a long gap between DC as had some health issues that meant we couldn't TTC for a few years. All being well, DC1 will be six when DC2 arrives - I am worried people will think it is too big a gap! Also that I have forgotten how to look after a newborn Confused

The heat is really not helping with feeling nauseous - stuck at work and just want to go home and stick my feet in the paddling pool (DH is at home with DC1 and they will no doubt be sitting in the garden Envy)

Hi Vera I've added you to the list but I'll only repost when we get a few more (we've got 67 already!!) and don't worry, I haven't a clue what to do with a baby and I feel like I'm going to faint every time I think about it.

I feel exhausted, nauseous (like being hungover all the time) and wildly veering from over-excited and chatty to slumped over at my desk thinking I'm dying. Pretty sure my colleagues think I have completely lost the plot. I'm planning to tell them in 6 weeks time (or later if I can!) so hopefully I'll be a bit more normal soon so they don't all guess!!

neonrainbow · 20/07/2016 14:13

Namechange me too Im so exhausted today i just took myself off to the toilets for a little cry... hormones and tiredness overwhelming me. I think its woken me up a little anyway.

ChoChang · 20/07/2016 14:26

Hi ladies, just back from hospital. Inconclusive as expected! The scan showed the pregnancy sac/yolk sac but no fetal pole/heartbeat. However, they said that can be perfectly normal at 5 and a bit weeks (I'm 5+5 but think I ovulated late so probably 5+2 in reality.) They said the sac measured what they would expect so it really is just a case of waiting now. The amazing sister did prescribe me some progesterone to get me through the my appointment in 10 days or so when they were planning to prescribe it. I could have kissed her I was so pleased to get it now given the bleeding! So for now I'm staying positive and considering myself pregnant. At least I know it's in the right place if nothing else.

Cho That sounds promising, glad you have your progesterone now and fingers crossed for the next scan - when will that be?

Skip Your post made me laugh Grin

neon Flowers You are not alone!

tutulove · 20/07/2016 14:39

Catalina, I also went to Cardigan Bay Wales for the week when I was 38/39 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. People thought I was crazy but I just knew I'd be over due (yet again) and was feeling really fed up so wanted to kill a bit of time. Low and behold DS was 10 days late so still had loads of time when I got back as I predicted ha ha DD1 was 7 days over due. I'm so jealous of all these 38 weekers ha ha although thankfully never been induced and have mega quick labours so that kind of makes up for the lateness of the arrivals I guess

I've been feeling nauseous from just after breakfast till about 6pm the last few days, it's fine if I can rest but rubbish in work ... ginger beer seems to help! And the heat really didn't help, yesterday I was on my feet from 9 - 6 in a busy shop trying to stay standing! Went for a swim in the sea after work though so that made up for it.

I have only told a few people, my mum, my dad, both my brothers, my boss and her mum, my best friend, oh and my other best friend, my grandma and one aunty!! I think that's all ....

Not bought anything yet, going to wait till I know it's sticking around!

We didn't buy anything till after 12 weeks last time and that was just a babygro! We got most stuff after 20 weeks because I'm a worrier and wanted to wait. We probably don't need to buy much this time except for some new furniture for the new baby room.

Blueandpinklove · 20/07/2016 14:58

Gardencentre did you do a local class of antenatal Pilates and if so how did you find it? When did you begin/end it? I'd really like to do something like that though will probably end up doing it at home as I always have at least one little one about Smile

And as for travel ... I'd say go for it if things are progressing normally. Things are a bit more uncomfortable but they will be whether you are at work, sitting on the couch or chilling by a beach.

ChoChang · 20/07/2016 15:01

Next scan is in 12 days namechange as I was booked in to see the recurrent misscarriage clinic then anyway so they said just to keep the appointment now that I'm preg, and theyd scan me and prescribe my progesterone then. I have got a private one booked for 9 days time so we're debating whether to keep that. I think we probably will as it's a Friday and if it's bad news it will give me the weekend to start to process it.

Sorry some of you are feeling crappy, I don't think the heat helps with the nausea at all.

Had my BFP last month (11th) (well three of them!), but still don't feel properly pregnant yet !
I've my booking appointment on 1st August (Monday) but want to change it to a Thursday/Friday ( days off) as really don't want my bosses to find out just yet. What would you all do?

Hey FXSkip - can I join you guys?!! I've just had a early scan (problems with prev) and over the moon everything is ok so far!! First time I've seen a little beating heart! Wanted to share as we're not telling family yet.

Lovely to see such positive stories from so many on here!

neonrainbow · 20/07/2016 15:42

I've seen a gorgeous little pair of dungarees I'm going to get after the scan. They're grey and have koala bears on the little t shirt it comes with. Going to get them in a bigger size though to get more use of of them.

HmrTron · 20/07/2016 16:17

Zanashar, yeah I don't want my boss to know until as late as possible! I would probably try to change it to save the worrying, but just go ahead if its not easy or you then have to wait for ages...how will they ever find out what you need to go to the doctors for if you can't change it?
