SecretScaryFriend · 02/08/2016 19:30

How are you doing, cho?

ChoChang · 02/08/2016 19:51

Hi all, just checking in to see how everyone's getting on. charly so sorry you're having bleeding. Really hope it's nothing to worry about, have you managed to get in to be scanned? Good luck x

I'm still 'bleeding' but it's gone back to a brown now, not had any more red since last night's episode. But there's more now than the spotting I was previously having. Also having lots of period pains so feeling really crap but got scan in the morning so will see then. Supposed to be flying out on holiday first thing thursday morning so that's all up in the air now too.

ChoChang · 02/08/2016 20:02

Thank you all for your support too by the way, its really appreciated especially since we've not told anyone irl, its so nice to have such a nice bunch of people to discuss things with.

Mine is Monday 22nd... Can't wait, just want to know everything is okay. And then I can start buying stuff!

charlybs · 02/08/2016 22:34

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I was away from home up in Leeds for work and the EPU at the hospital there just told me to monitor. Tbh I rang 111 and it was a nightmare getting through to the right people. My work were very good about it and have sent me home. DH has just picked me up nearer home and now we're driving the rest of the way as I shouldn't be carrying my luggage really. Going to ring my doctors tomorrow. The bleeding is brown which is hopefully not as scary but just hanging on and waiting to see. X

Cloeycat · 02/08/2016 23:07

Charley I think I remember you being based near me, when I had a scare a few weeks ago my GP sent me straight into the QA in cosham and they saw me within the hour. The EPU there were really lovely and said afterwards that any other worries to pop straight in. Hopefully you will get similar treatment tomorrow, fingers crossed for you.

Cloeycat · 02/08/2016 23:08

Also Debie- are you based in Ireland or have you found taytos somewhere in the UK? Cos I am mad after some aswell but trying to get my family to send significant amount of packets across is proving difficult!

Hi! I'm 5+4 today. First pregnancy after a long 6 years but delighted to be successful with our first ivf. Up to now had cramping, sore boobs and tiredness but today that all seems to have eased quite a bit - boobs are still a bit sensitive but not too bad - and so I'm freaking out that something is going wrong. I have a 7 week scan this day fortnight in my ivf clinic but don't know how I'll make it to then!

Have read the entire first and second March threads over the last few days - it's great to have so many people that know what this feels like!

neonrainbow · 03/08/2016 06:58

Welcome to the new bfps and congratulations 😂

im 10 weeks today and ovia tells me the babies are the size of a neon tetra fish. I love neon tetras as im weird so i was happy with that.

Hi all, I'm about 6+2, finding it all a little rough at the moment. Lots of nausea and cramping, and so so tired.

My GP is referring me to the early pregnancy unit due to the cramps and some spotting so I can have an early scan - feeling quite anxious waiting for that.

smiles01 · 03/08/2016 07:24

I had horrendous cramps at 3am lay night, I woke up in so much pain - felt like bad period pains.
I'm 6 weeks today is this normal?

DaisyBank82 · 03/08/2016 07:53

Morning all

Congrats too all those with recent bfps and to those who have recently said hello for the first time!

Sorry to those who are having an anxious wait or those with bad news.

I'm back from holiday and very glad to return to home comforts. Low point was throwing up into my hand when I got off the plane at the airport in Spain. I suddenly felt a bit anxious and it all went wrong. I have been quite sick throughout the holiday on and off - nowhere near as bad as some of you and not as bad as my last pregnancy I don't think but enough to feel a bit sorry for myself (but also feel pregnant, which is reassuring). My bed at home has never felt so comfortable as it does now.

My nhs card thing has come through and I also had an apt through for a GTT in December (!). My scan is the 18th August which is DH's birthday so really going for good news to make his day. But figured if it was bad news it wouldn't be worse for being his birthday, it would be devastating whatever.

I've discovered Seedlip non alcoholic spirits and they are delicious. Not at all sweet but really refreshing. I got mine for just under rrp online and enjoyed the garden one with cucumber and soda last night. They have suggestions of how to mix them online. On holiday I drank a bit of ice tea but it wasn't ideal as it has caffeine and it's quite sweet. These are great so if you're feeling deprived check them out - also sold in Selfidges and Harvey Nics.

Hello and congratulations to the newbies!

smiles I had really bad cramps in the first few weeks, I was told they were normal. They stopped after about week 7 I think.

My 12 week scan is on Friday 19 August. Bring it on!
