neon Stay positive and good luck for Monday

neonrainbow · 29/07/2016 15:57

Thank you people... ive calmed down since earlier. i was in the right place at least to get immediate action and reassurance from the midwife. Luckily it seems to be almost stopped now but i did freak out. If it gets heavier or theres clots i have to go straight to A &E. Im going to put my feet up for the weekend and take it easy.

deuscat · 29/07/2016 16:20

neon hope everything is ok. It's scary to see bleeding but it might not mean bad news. Hope you'll be ok over the weekend

Happygojo I'm BF my 19mo and haven't noticed any fussiness or that I'm drying up. I'm planning to tandem feed if he doesn't self wean before baby's arrival so I'm happy to carry on if he wants to.

ChoChang · 29/07/2016 16:55

Neon glad the bleeding has pretty much stopped, its properly scary. You do right to just relax and take it easy. Wishing you lots of luck for Monday.

magic sorry you're feeling so crap, glad your ds managed to have a good holiday at least!

So I'm just back from my scan. We have a baby with a heartbeat! I can't believe it. Me and dh both had a little cry when she showed us. She also said that there's no bleeding anywhere near baby so not to worry about the ongoing spotting. I guess its probably just my cervix or something. Dated me at 6+3, when by my date from last period I should be 7 weeks, but I thought I ovulated very late so I expected if I was still preg that it would be pushed back a bit. New edd of 21 March Grin

NameChange30 · 29/07/2016 16:57

Cho Hooray! Very happy for you Smile

Hope everyone else with worries gets equally good news very soon xx

Happygojo86 · 29/07/2016 17:08

I hope you manage it deuscat I think if DD was a little older it might have been easier. I definitely don't want to tandem. I feed one sided due to an extreme case of mastitis when DD was 9 weeks requiring an op and a hospital stay Shock. Although broken boob should work ok when required, it's a bit mishapened and scarred so I don't want to to rely on it and I think 2 children would be too much for one boob

charlybs · 29/07/2016 17:28

Cho I'm doing a dance for your heart-beating baby! Grin

Dozygirl · 29/07/2016 17:48

Cho so pleased it was good news for you. I'd have cried I reckon.

Neon fingers crossed that's the only bleeding u get but definitely rest up while u can.

ChoChang · 29/07/2016 17:50

Thanks name change and charlybs! I'm so excited! We just realised that it a pretty much 4 years exactly since we casually started ttc and now here we are! So we're going out for a meal tonight to celebrate. I'm very aware that's its still v early days and could still go wrong but we've never got past an empty pregnancy sac previously, so for there to be a baby with a heartbeat feels like a miracle!

ChoChang · 29/07/2016 17:54

Thanks doxy!

neon the hospital staff have really gone to town on stressing that some bleeding is really very common and often harmless. Doesn't help when it's happening to you though does it, its just pure panic. Hopefully you dont get any more and can have a relaxing weekend x

Newbie7077 · 29/07/2016 18:01

Congratulations Chochang that's fantastic! Fingers and toes crossed that all goes to plan. Smile

neonrainbow · 29/07/2016 18:02

Thank you everyone this thread has really helped me that. Congratulations cho im hoping i see the same on monday!

ItsMagicYouKnow · 29/07/2016 18:06

Wonderful news Cho, especially that the bleeding is far from baby. Don't forget there's quite a large margin of error when it's this early, so late ovulation plus or minus a couple of days and you're right on target Smile Have a lovely meal, 4 years is an awfully long time to wait!

greentreeseverywhere · 29/07/2016 18:27

Got my early scan tomorrow morning felt sick the last few days but not been sick. Iv had a funny tummy all day but that's usual when im worried/nervous about something. Sorry if that's tmi! ! I'm so scared it's not going to be there and me and dh have got excited over nothing. Confused but taking the sick feeling bloated and lots of wind aswell as boobs like rocks as good signs! !

MissClarke86 · 29/07/2016 19:01

I'm so pleased for you Cho, have been thinking of you today.

Mines Monday, can I have some of your good luck please?! For the first time in ages I feel fine today and have even fancied a glass of wine (clearly i won't have one, but it's the first time I've fancied it...now worrying that my symptoms are going!)

Newbie7077 · 29/07/2016 19:27

missclarke86 i felt exactly the same today! First time in ages (I'm ~9wks). I've still completely gone off coffee though.good luck for Monday! I've got another 3 weeks Confused

MissClarke86 · 29/07/2016 19:35

Newbie glad it's not just me. I'm only 7+3 but have an early scan due to previous miscarriage.

It's my 30th birthday this weekend and I really could've done with the scan before because I'm just ruining it with scanxiety!

Newbie7077 · 29/07/2016 19:40

greentreeseverywhere it's probably just nerves! Good luck!!

Floozie66 · 29/07/2016 19:47

Hello peeps
Can i join
Edd 2 march
Twins!!
Age 44
Live on the south coast
Feeling really rough at moment and just started on anti nausea meds which are just about taking the edge off and enabling me to eat but basically am going to bed as soon as i get in from work -exhausted beyond anything i have experienced before and i have partied hard😈 in a previous life !!!

ElsaMars · 29/07/2016 20:20

MissC, I'm drinking wine free wine from Asda tonight, it's actually OK.
Been feeling terrible but still fancied wine!

Can I have good vibes for my Monday scan too? My last pregnancy ended in an ectopic, so I'm very anxious

MissClarke86 · 29/07/2016 20:28

ElsaMars the problem is...I like being drunk, not actually the taste of wine Grin

How far along will you be at your scan? I will be holding your hand from afar!!

alphabook · 29/07/2016 20:42

Congrats to the new BFPs!

Good luck for your scan Peanut, I also had the horrible 2 week wait between scans, really hope it passes as quickly as possible for you.

Really sorry Neon, I have everything crossed for you.

Congratulations Cho, that's wonderful news! I burst into tears when I saw the heartbeat on my scan.

Wishing you lots of luck for your scans MissClarke and Elsa.

Good luck to both of you for Monday, I am more than happy to share my good luck!

I wouldn't worry too much about symptoms coming and going. With both of my chemical pregnancies and with my missed miscarriage I had loads of symptoms even after the scan showed no baby, this time I've barely got any symptoms at all so far and it's looking good! I think every pregnancy is different even in the same woman, sometimes you'll have them and sometime you won't Smile

ElsaMars · 29/07/2016 20:56

Think I'll be 6+4. Hoping for good news but you just never know. Good luck for yours too.

I see what you mean about the wine, it's not really the same without the warm, fuzzy, drunk feeling!

Dozygirl · 29/07/2016 21:10

Floozie congratulations on the twins! How exciting!

Elsa good luck with your scan too
