LOL @ "Battle Knickers" I've gotta go get me some pairs ... where'd you get yours from??

Oooooh, geordie - Charlie William is lovely! 12 weeks - Joe is gorgeous (would you have Joseph / Jonathan as full name and shorten it, or just Joe??) Also LOVE Rex - very cool, how about Dexter too??

Mmmmmm ....

Thank you for nice comments about my names .... It will be Arthur Benjamin and Phoebe Elisabeth Joan (Joan is DH's G'Ma's name who died this time last year.)

hotlipsmummy · 23/01/2007 14:51

I like Phoebe and Arthur too - Phoebe was on my list last time but DH vetoed it because of friends!
Girls names include - Darcey (my fav), Esther, Leone, Naomi, Morgan, Erin. If we have a girl middle names will be Rachel (my middle name and DS has James, DH's middle name) and possibly Siena (to go with Ds's middle name of Roman). Hope that makes sense.
Asher is my fav boys name choice as its a proper name that could also be a surname so matches Harrison quite well.
Why is it that the mummies have lots of suggestions (have load more I could put on here ) but the men manage none!!!

Have docs appointment this afternoon for DS - need to confirm if it is chicken pox for his nursery. Not sure whether I want it to be or not...

CaptainDippy · 23/01/2007 14:51

geordiemacminx · 23/01/2007 14:52

Well surname is chambers, and dp is william but gets billy so it all kinda fits.. think charlie chambers sounds cute and cheeky which no doubt he will be!!

CaptainDippy · 23/01/2007 14:54

Rachel is the other girl's name DH and I agree on (there's plenty more names I like that he doesn't, trust me!!); can't really have a Phoebe and Rachel though (Friends), so if the next one is a girl, we'll be back to th drawing board ... Mmmmmmm......

Darcey is sweet, also liking Esther and Naomi from your list too.

Names are exciting!

hotlipsmummy · 23/01/2007 14:56

oooh Dexter, hadn't thought of that!! Brings back memories of Dynasty though ... Still, love it!

btw - re those going to the Liverpool Everton game, I'm a blue!!

CaptainDippy · 23/01/2007 14:56

Someone call their DS Dexter - Make me happy!

geordiemacminx · 23/01/2007 14:57

CaptainDippy · 23/01/2007 14:59

Just had a naughty thought .....

Clive Owen dressed as a Fireman with Areo Mint Choc.

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 23/01/2007 14:59

God, names! Everyone at work keeps asking me about this. We are struggling. My faves are Katie, Lola, Ellie, and Chloe. Boys names would be Matthew, Daniel, Lewis or Adam. Quite traditional ones!

12weeksandcounting · 23/01/2007 15:00

Brad Pitt armed with an aero

I also quite like the name Nelson

Need something to go between Joe.....Finn

liath · 23/01/2007 15:01

Poor BigOnion - you fickle lot! One minute he gets a thread named after him, the next he's spurned in favour of some hairy firman.

geordiemacminx · 23/01/2007 15:02

I love the name finn as a first name, obviously you couldnt have that... that would just be silly... dp also rubbished that idea as his best mate's surname is finn and he is a bell..apparently....

CaptainDippy · 23/01/2007 15:04

Sorry BigOnion - Have you got any Mint Choc Areos??

Joe Horatio Finn?

Joe Bartholemew Finn?

Joe Tennyson Finn?

Think it requires something longer and more pretentious!!

CaptainDippy · 23/01/2007 15:04

Finn Finn - LOL!

geordiemacminx · 23/01/2007 15:06

So. What ingenious ways can people think of to "hint" to my man about this long-awaited Eternity Ring??

geordiemacminx · 23/01/2007 15:16

Well I tried to broach the subject yesterday.. but since we arent even engaged I think I stand as much chance of getting an eternity ring as I do of painting my own toe nails at the moment!!!

I mentioned that the birth stone for April was diamond, and that it would be appropriate to buy a diamond as a gift for someone who gives birth in April.. but he laughed.. and said aye right.. "diamond white"

If I get flowers I'll be lucky!!

12weeksandcounting · 23/01/2007 15:18

CD - start along the lines of how nice it would be to have a present to celebrate the birth and forthcoming life of your dc4 - how it could be a family treasure which they could inherit and pass on through the generations and see if he has any ideas

DH and I are going to go out for lunch in Bath with Joe (??) when he arrives and buy eachother a present - mine is obviously going to be diamond ring - he is likely to get a new watch - has to be comparable to pain suffered during pregnancy and birth

12weeksandcounting · 23/01/2007 15:19

GMM - diamond white - theres a blast from the past

12weeksandcounting · 23/01/2007 15:22

Oh and in my beautifying spree the other day I managed to trim my ladygarden by looking in the mirror - tricky!
